After reading many travel guides, we finally decided to stay in the Erlanghe Scenic Area of ​​Xuexiang and booked this guesthouse. It was fantastic! We had two kids with us, and it was their first time staying on a spacious kang (heated brick bed), which was a novel experience for both adults and children. The kang was indeed very comfortable. The landlady was very welcoming; she added us on WeChat before we arrived and helped us arrange transportation from Yabuli to the hotel. She also helped us plan our itinerary, making our trip with the kids very relaxed and enjoyable! The food at the guesthouse was delicious. I recommend the chicken stew with mushrooms, the Northeastern stew, and the dumplings made by the local craftsmen—all very tasty. There's plenty of snow to play in, and the kids had a blast.

The owner is incredibly nice! He picked us up when we arrived and dropped us off when we left. He even gave us frozen pears and persimmons and helped us film a 'water splashing into ice' video. Seeing that we had a child, he upgraded us to a family room for free. The room was clean, hygienic, and very warm. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city. We could see the Great Stone Tablet and even fireworks through the large window in our room. It's a great hotel!

This time our two children took their children to watch the snow, which completely exceeded our expectations. The children can enjoy it in the garden. After a whole day of playing, every detail in the park was carefully designed. Even the huge polar bear had entered the park on the day we left. The facilities in the room were simple but clean. The temperature and humidity were more comfortable than any star-rated hotel I had booked in Harbin. Besides the standard laundry service for the hotel amenities, the proprietress personally washes them by the river and then sun-dries them. If you're traveling with kids, they can even fish in the river. This specific washing area was built by the proprietress herself. On the day we checked in, she thoughtfully arranged a room with a heated bed for my parents. During our stay, she also helped look after my children. You can also contact the proprietress for transportation, and the prices are very reasonable – half the local rate for high-speed rail station pick-up and drop-off. Since the hotel opened in 2017, the facilities aren't brand new, but the best part is that there's no unpleasant smell, making it a safe and comfortable stay for kids.
