We got to our guesthouse in Xuexiang from Harbin, and the owner helped us share a ride and buy tickets – it was incredibly convenient! The owner and staff were all super helpful. The room was super clean, and the facilities were all new and high-end. My partner and I didn't want to leave Xuexiang, and then we discovered a large area behind the guesthouse. The snow was deep and there was no one around, so we joined another couple for a snowball fight – it was so incredibly fun! It was a hidden gem, much more fun than the Xuexiang scenic area itself. We all agreed that the area behind the guesthouse was the real gem, a truly carefree and relaxing place. I'll definitely come back to stay here again; it was so comfortable, I didn't want to leave!

This century-old Russian-style guesthouse is located in a quiet area. The rooms and beds are spacious enough for four people, and the decor shows careful attention to detail. You can see white clouds and mountain views from your bed – perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The owner and her mother are very welcoming and even shared some of their freshly picked cherries and blackcurrants. Local residents will also invite you to visit their yards; the small garden across the street has a charming European country feel. It's raspberry season now, and the auntie took us to taste some of her own fruit. Continuing up the opposite hillside, you can take panoramic photos of the town. It was a truly relaxing and enjoyable travel experience. ☺️

I personally found this B&B to be truly excellent. The young host was incredibly kind and even upgraded my room. The guest rooms were spotlessly clean, thoughtfully laid out, and featured a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. They provided disposable bath towels, face towels, and toilet seat covers, and all the in-room amenities were of high quality. The B&B boasts an excellent location, with plenty of convenient dining options nearby. Situated by the river, it offers a serene and elegant environment, and is within walking distance of all the main attractions. Should I have the opportunity to return to the beautiful and peaceful Hengdaohezi, I would absolutely choose to stay here again.

I would like to give special mention to Amway. This B&B is one of the best in the entire Hengdaohezi. You can feel the dedication in building B&Bs from many details. This time our two children took their children to watch the snow, which completely exceeded our expectations. The children can enjoy it in the garden. After a whole day of playing, every detail in the park was carefully designed. Even the huge polar bear had entered the park on the day we left. The facilities in the room were simple but clean. The temperature and humidity were more comfortable than any star-rated hotel I had booked in Harbin. The cloth was Although the grass is not very high-end, fortunately, it is all concentrated in the city and can be changed and washed. This is very important! The food may have just started operating. We had a trouble when we first arrived: a courier was sent to the station in the town, which was very far from the hotel and walked for more than 20 minutes. I was casually mentioned, the proprietress immediately said: ”This big far away, how can you toss, I find someone to help you get it!” Before long, she really asked a neighbor big goth to drive us to pick up the courier back. This kind of small thing is really touching to the heart. Living here, every morning is awakened by happiness! The breakfast made by the boss Lao Zhang is called a must! Not the same self-service of the hotel, but the real home-cooked taste. Hot millet porridge, home-made side dishes, fresh cakes... simple but very delicious, with pot gas, eating warm, going out to play all day. Lao Zhang doesn't talk much, but the heart is all in the food. The proprietress is even more attentive. Knowing that we are here for the first time, we keep introducing us to the fun and not crowded places around, how to take the car, and what time the light is good to take pictures. Cooling to remind us to add clothes, come back at night will always ask with concern ”Today is tired or not tired?” That kind of care, not like treating guests, but like the family elders to the children's memory, afraid that you can't eat, sleep well, play not happy. The owner also enthusiastically shared local travel tips and food recommendations, being completely genuine and transparent throughout. Whether it was the service, environment, or activities, everything was impeccable. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Hengdaohezi, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a snow trip!

We chose this guesthouse based on the room type, and it was a pleasant surprise – my mom loved it! The room was a standard two-bedroom apartment, perfect for a family trip. They even converted the smaller room into a shower and toilet, which was great. They also provided disposable towels, bath towels, slippers, and a toilet seat cover – such thoughtful details! It was very quiet, not on the main street, but only a seven or eight-minute walk to the shopping street, very convenient. The town isn't big, so there's plenty of room to explore.
