Honestly, the service staff were all excellent and went out of their way to help with anything I needed. However, the hotel facilities were rather basic. I was kindly given a large room, but the details didn't hold up to scrutiny. The carpet was very dirty; I was puzzled when I entered, but was told it was the carpet's natural color. :) The extra seating area was basically useless, the sofa cushions were very uncomfortable, and the bedding wasn't very good quality either—all just passable. It was difficult to find good takeout options nearby, not even a cup of coffee. The hotel's coffee was also bad. Overall, it felt more like a guesthouse than a standard hotel. However, the staff were indeed very responsive. Yangzhou is a truly wonderful city, and the people of Yangzhou are also very kind and gentle. Next time I visit, I will definitely stay in the city center.
