This famous hotel is the best inn I have ever stayed in. Because the traffic jam came late, I didn’t expect the boss to wait for us at the front desk. I also upgraded our room for free. It is still very comfortable to come to Chocolate Kingdom in the off-season. Compared with the Spring Festival, there are very few people now, and no one competes for hot springs in the public area. Moreover, the villa's hygiene is well maintained during the off-season, and the living room and guest rooms are all tidy. At first, I was worried that they were not taken care of carefully. The housekeeper was also very considerate, greeting us as soon as we arrived and helping us with our luggage.

I paid a hefty 1,610 yuan for this stay during the National Day holiday, but the experience was disappointing. First, the positives: First, the cleanliness was excellent. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, with virtually no unhygienic spots. Second, the bedding was very comfortable, and I slept soundly. Third, the rural scenery was beautiful, with lush banana fields surrounding the property. Now for the negatives: First, the service wasn't worth the price. First, the breakfast was too basic. The hostess said the breakfast was excellent the night we checked in. Fearing we'd run out of options if we arrived too late, we went early the next morning. It was rush hour, and the place was a mess. You had to fight for anything you wanted, and the selection was limited: eggs, fried noodles, sweet potatoes, corn, and porridge. My wife asked for pickled mustard greens, which she had to buy right away. The fried noodles were good, but we had to wait in line to order more, and we didn't even finish our meal. I understand a simple B&B breakfast, but it's a bit unfair for guests to pay the price of a five-star luxury hotel in a first-tier city only to get such a simple breakfast. Also, since National Day is peak season, shouldn't the hotel be prepared in advance? Furthermore, the proprietress was stingy when serving breakfast, using the guise of saving money and avoiding waste to refuse extra portions. While avoiding waste is commendable, achieving perfect moderation is impossible. Again, compared to the 1610 yuan room rate, those few ears of corn, sweet potatoes, and fried noodles are only a fraction of the room rate. Secondly, although the restaurant has put effort into its facilities, they still fall short of those of a hotel.

When Chen learned that we were staying, he came over to greet us and ask if we needed anything. He also provided information about nearby attractions for reference. The leather sofa in the living room is shiny, the fabric sofa is hard enough, the coat is clean and stain-free, and the cushions are fashionable and sufficient. All hangers are unified, even the dishes in the kitchen are unified. This is the first time I have seen it. The tableware in the private villas I have lived in before is all kinds of old and unbearable. It is really very clean and neat, and all items are of quality assurance. Next time I come to Yingde with my baby's father, I will book this store.

Having stayed in several other log cabin villas, this one had the largest rooms, and the cleanliness was better than expected. Many other log cabins like this tend to be damp and have naturally occurring spots, but I didn't notice any here. The design offered good privacy, with vegetation covering the entire perimeter and the sound of a clear stream nearby. Although the entire grounds weren't large, I ended up walking around several times after dinner. The breakfast selection was limited, a common issue with these secluded manor-style guesthouses, but the stir-fried rice noodles were quite good, and the pumpkin pancakes and fried tofu were freshly made and very fragrant. Nearby is the Jiuchongtian Cave, which is worth a visit; the ceiling at the deepest part of the cave is truly spectacular. It's a great place for couples or solo travelers to explore and stay.

The room is clean, you can read books, play table tennis, and climb rock on the first floor, but rock climbing is for money. Breakfast is Western style, 25 yuan per serving, located next to the starting point of the Yingxi Peak Forest hiking route, the surrounding natural environment is beautiful, there are also many restaurants. You can rent a small eDonkey to shuttle through the country fields and watch the sunset is beautiful. Overall satisfactory

I stayed at the Chocolate Kingdom Hotel in mid-October. At that time, some facilities were already showing their age and seemed a bit neglected, and there were fewer staff members. However, I truly felt their dedication in every service they provided; their excellent service more than made up for any shortcomings in the hardware. We had a hot spring package. The hot springs were less crowded during the day and more so at night, so it was good to go at off-peak times. The package also included two-day tickets to Chocolate Wonderland, and at that time, there was a shuttle cart service. When I went back in December, the shuttle was gone, so I want to warn fellow travelers that if you're not driving yourself, think very carefully before booking, as it's a 20-minute walk from the park to the hotel. But since there was a shuttle service in October, and I genuinely felt their dedication in every service, I'm giving a good review for that stay. For December, I'd give a bad review.
