Phi Phi Cliff Beach Resort Reviews

A porter met us at the port and kindly carried our bags to the hotel, which was a nice and welcoming start to our stay. The rooms were as described; however, the hotel itself feels quite dated and is in need of general maintenance and updating. There was a noticeable mold smell in the room initially, though this disappeared once the air conditioning was turned on. Breakfast was enjoyable, with good coffee and made-to-order eggs. The private beach was a highlight—quiet, calm, and never crowded. The pool water itself was clean, but unfortunately the surrounding area was littered with cigarette butts. While we were relaxing at the pool, another family began smoking. We informed the front desk, but no action was taken, which was disappointing, especially as there were visible no-smoking signs. The view from the fourth floor is truly spectacular. We did have one uncomfortable moment when housekeeping entered our room from the deck around 9 a.m. while we were packing. We greeted her immediately; she apologised and left. There was a Koi pond in the main lobby was sad as the fish in the side pond had insufficient water to swim upright.  This hotel could be amazing. Its peaceful location on an otherwise busy island, along with the dramatic cliffside setting and pool deck, gives it enormous potential. Unfortunately, it feels like the property has passed its peak, leaving a sense of missed opportunity rather than what it could still become.

It was okay, but the bathroom wasn't very clean.

Very run down. Glad we only stayed 1 night. Room smelled fusty. The windows were green. In need of a refurb. The breakfast was ok but the dining room was dark and uninviting. Just didn’t feel nice.

This hotel would have been amazing when it was first built. Shame it is now in need of a complete refurb. Green windows. Room smelled of mould. Felt dark and uninviting.  At the end of a beach full of noisy boats and dirty sea. Quite a walk from the centre.

Really enjoyed the available breakfast spread with local pandan flavors and the omelette station. The hotel is 10min walk from the pier with a private beach and chairs. It’s safe and quiet. I’d come here again!

Near to Ton Sai Pier and they arranged pick up plus porter services to and from the pier, which is very thoughtful. Room is spacious and the view is overlooking the beach. Staff are very friendly and go the extra mile. Absolutely happy with my stay.

Hotel is not same anymore like the pictures. Overused, no renovation!! Tired!! Big rooms yess, and the pool is ok. But overal i would not recomened this hotel. Need a real renovation. Its dark dark in the evening around the hotel area.
