"This hotel is close to Phi Phi North Pier. The surroundings are lovely, and if you're in a mountain view room, you can request a golf cart to take you up, which runs every half hour and is quite convenient. You can also charter a boat directly from the hotel for 1800 Baht for four hours to visit four islands, which is a good deal. Snorkeling gear is available for rent at 300 Baht per day. Overall, it's quite good, and even the mountain view rooms offer sea views. The only downside is that the beach is a bit short and doesn't have the stunning white sand and beautiful sea like Long Beach. Everything else is great."

Phi Phi Harbour View Hotel Hotels in Phi Phi Islands

"The hotel’s brochure pictures look great, but they don’t convey the unpleasant reality of the first-floor rooms. There was a strong moldy odor, and when we checked other rooms on the same floor with the hotel staff, all of them had the same smell. Only when we tried a room on the upper floor was the air fresh. The new room was at a lower rate, but the hotel only agreed to a partial refund, claiming we weren’t entitled to a full one due to their cancellation policy 🤨. This was very frustrating, as our request to change rooms was due to poor conditions, not by choice for any other reason."

"Overall ok stay. But breakfast quality was way below average for a 5* hotel same as western food and gym overall condition. Not really 5 stars to me. Quality of the bed linen was as well below expectations. On the positive side their Thai food is very good and staff overall friendly - but definitely not 5*"

"This is amazing paradise place with in incredible beautiful nature. views from the hotel are fantastic, very beautiful. The staff is very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Moderate choice of breakfast, but so delicious. I wanna noticed the girl at reception, YANNAH, she greeted me very kindly. The house keeping name his name is HONG, is also very welcoming and accommodating, and work responsible. The rooms are clean, and the staff takes good care of the area. I was very pleased sauna and hot pool. The SPA is also very good. JOE, the girl at reception so friendly, and kind. And NANA is the professional massage therapist. Overall, the all staff of hotel deserves high rating, as they work with enthusiasm and responsible. For old people and families with small children might be a little difficult to get around the hotel. But everyone who wants to enjoy solitude, silence, with amazing nature, and fantastic view should definitely come here."

"The room was nice but dated and needs a renovation. The bathroom was pretty poor though with really mouldy shower that leaked all over the floor and a broken toilet seat. The staff however were brilliant at trying to resolve it but unfortunately couldn't so we came to an alternative arrangement, which was appreciated. Long beach is nice but a bit quiet and a boat taxi away from most of the bars and restaurants. That's fine for some so just be aware of that."

Bayview Resort Phi Phi Island - Beach Front Resort Hotels in Phi Phi Islands

Bayview Resort Phi Phi Island - Beach Front Resort

"I honestly don’t understand the number of negative reviews this hotel gets. Our experience was completely different, we had a fantastic stay. The staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, which made everything even better. Yes, the property shows some signs of wear, but that’s normal for beachfront places unless you’re paying for high-end luxury. Considering the price, especially for rooms with a sea view, it actually feels like great value. The view from our room was incredible, the ocean with some greenery in between, peaceful and beautiful at any time of day. The air conditioning worked perfectly (which is essential in Phi Phi), and everything in the room functioned as it should. One thing to keep in mind is that reaching some rooms involves a fair amount of walking, sometimes under direct sun. This can be tiring, especially for people who are not in good physical condition or who are sensitive to heat. It may not be the best option for everyone in that regard. This is not a luxury resort, but it’s a solid, comfortable beachfront hotel that delivers more than fair value for what you pay. Overall, I’d say it’s one of the best options in Phi Phi in its price range, and far more enjoyable than many of the crowded, stuffy places in the center. We had a great time and would definitely stay again."

"Terrible Service & Zero Help at Check-Out Honestly, this was the most unpleasant hotel experience ever, Ive never had this kind of issue before in other hotel, especially with the staff. You'd think people in the hospitality business would be polite and helpful, right? Wrong! This place was a total blast of rudeness. The nightmare started when we called for a cart to the pier. The staff actually said, "NO, IT'S NOT POSSIBLE, you have to call 1 hour in advance for early check-out and the cart." I was stunned! They never told us that policy when we checked in. I went straight to reception to clear it up and asked why this wasn't mentioned earlier. They just kept repeating, "It's our policy. The next cart is in an hour." I was panicking because my boat left in 30 minutes! I had two huge 20 kg bags—how was I supposed to walk 15–20 minutes to the pier with all that? The worst part? They wouldn't even apologize. They just kept saying "No staff available." Meanwhile, I saw two staff guys chilling on a couch right there in their hotel uniform, and two empty carts were parked outside! I was totally drained, stressed, and overwhelmed. When I finally realized they weren't going to lift a finger, I told them, "Fine, I'll just write a review about how unhelpful you were and how you fail to inform guests." And guess what? Instead of saying sorry, the staff snapped back, "OKAY, JUST GIVE THE REVIEW AS YOU WANT." WOW. I work in hospitality, and we would do anything to avoid a complaint. Their attitude was unbelievable. Now I totally understand why this beautiful property only has a 3-star rating. Oh, the water from the bidets was totally smelly and (AGAIN) at breakfast, they just ask for your room number—no greetings, no smiles. So. You decide! Enjoy the worst hospitality ever!"

"I specifically came to Koh Phi Phi this time to experience the slow-paced island life of the locals, and I absolutely fell in love with this island! The little cats wandering everywhere on the streets were well-behaved and friendly, letting you pet them without fear. We randomly found a local travel agency and booked a pirate ship tour for 1800 Thai Baht, which was an amazing experience! We boarded at 12 PM and returned at 7 PM. This route only caters to island residents, so you don't have to deal with the large crowds from Phuket, making the experience completely different and much more comfortable. Compared to the bustling and noisy Phuket, Koh Phi Phi's overall atmosphere is much more relaxed. Instead of just recommending this hotel, I'd suggest that anyone visiting Phuket should definitely spend a night on Koh Phi Phi! The quality of hotels on the island doesn't vary much; generally, you get what you pay for. Accommodation is just a temporary stop; the true joy of Koh Phi Phi is never about the hotel itself. If you prefer a quiet, relaxing, and crowd-free vacation, then the northern part of Koh Phi Phi is highly recommended! The entire area is filled with high-end luxury hotels, most of which have private beaches, offering excellent privacy. Our stay this time was around Tonsai Pier, which is the most popular and lively core area of the island. You can choose between these two different vacation vibes according to your preference."

"Booked the cheapest room, but got a free upgrade upon arrival. Also they allowed me to check-in earlier, which was very nice. The house I stayed in was very clean, no bugs at all. Some things to keep in mind: - the resort is quite big, so if you end up staying in farther houses, you’ll need to walk to the restaurant and Viking beach for around 5 minutes. The pathways are kinda steep, so it can be inconvenient for elderly and kids or at night; - the walk from the pier to the resort takes around 25 minutes. The views along the way are spectacular. The pathway is manageable even if you wear flip-flops, but I don’t think you should try it if your group has an elder or a kid. I’ll attach some photos of the path for reference; - there’s a lot of cats! Sadly I didn’t have any cat food with me. So if you have a chance, bring cat food! 😁 - you can actually walk to the Long Beach, it will take 5 minutes or so. But the path is not for a weak… You need to hold ropes to climb or to get down. The last photo is the part of that path."

"The Location at the end of Long Beach us very nice. However, the Beach is very crowded and many Longtail Boats driving along cause a lot of noise. The room was nice but not exzellent. The mattress was quite hard. We also enjoyed the food and the Service, Both were good."
