"The road to the hotel is quite scenic, though you need to be careful in some spots. And the views!!! Wow!!! There's a free boat service from the hotel, but the walk was truly impressive, an absolute pleasure. It's quiet, apart from the cicadas, and be careful – monkeys visit the balcony. The room is very cozy. There are pajamas, toothbrushes and toothpaste, face cream, a hairdryer, tea and coffee, a mini-bar (chargeable), and two complimentary bottles of water. Long Beach is not far to walk to. Breakfasts in the morning are good, with plenty of food."

"The staff waited for me at pier and after checking out kept my suitcase until departure time. The room was nice amd simple, with a new furniture and all necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable with quality bedding. The location was good as well.I expected to be noisy, but it wasn't at all. Although everything was good, the strong smell of mold in the room overshadowed my overall experience. I could also see mold on the top tiles in the bathroom and walls, as the room is not well ventilated. It may be better to book a room on a higher floor!"

Amazing
RRodrigoBHere's a short review in English based on your notes: --- This hotel is beautiful and tranquil, set in a tropical environment with many open-air areas. You need to go outside to reach the reception, restaurant, or bathroom from your room. They have done a fantastic job of combining luxury with a natural, jungle-like setting—something I've never seen before. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. If you're looking for a more exotic nature experience, this place is ideal. However, if you prefer a more standard/business stay, it might not be the best option.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on top of a hill, so you need to take a shuttle bus to get up and down, which takes a few minutes. However, the shuttle only runs once an hour. Breakfast is quite basic; if you add it on separately, it costs 350 Thai Baht, or you can take the shuttle down to town to eat. For the ferry transfers, there are always staff to pick you up and drop you off at the pier, so there's no need to book in advance. I suggest increasing the frequency of the shuttle buses, ideally so they run on demand. The water park was partially open, and the slides were really fast.

GGuest UserUpon arriving to Tonsai pier on Phi Phi Island I was afraid of an overcrowded beach packed tourist spot, we secured a longtail straight away and were taken to Saii resort about a 30 min boat ride. It does take some effort or time I should say to get there from Krabi, Koh Lanta, or Phuket but very worth it. We came from Koh Lanta on a ferry. 1.5 hours and then longtail to resort .5 hours. We were welcomed in the beautiful open air surroundings, check in was a breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful and even made arrangements for our departure from the island to the airport in Krabi for days later. The resort is clean a beautiful. We had a Sea View Villa which was fabulous, clean, newly remodeled, and large. Huge front porch to sit on steps from the beach or pool. It was very adult, a quiet easy family or couple environment. Lot's of sitting areas, a seating area at night to listen to a local band. Food at the resort was good but as expected somewhat expensive, food and village out in town was quaint nice and much cheaper. We enjoyed a bit of both. The views, pristine water, serene environment, clean rooms, wonderful staff....spent three days at Saii, and I would go back again. Pics on the website were pretty accurate. If you going to go, which you should, stay for a few several days. It's worth it.

EEimearTThis is a fabulous place to stay. It’s tucked away in the corner of a beautiful beach so it’s peaceful and chilled but still walking distance (5mins) to the main shops, cafes, bars and harbour of PhiPhi. The bamboo huts are very solid and appeared to be really well sealed so no bugs getting in and excellent at holding the cool air from the air conditioner inside. Very comfy bed, soft bed linen, good pillows, bathrobes, bottled water and good quality toiletries all provided. Gorgeous bathroom with great showers. Welcome drink and snacks provided in the room. The breakfast buffet was incredible- so much choice and everything was delicious. We also ate lunch here one day and dinner here one night and both were delicious, The swim up pool bar was a real treat with happy hour 2 for one cocktails from 3-5 as well as delicious smoothies ice cream and made to order sushi available. The pool is stunning of with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Pool towels supplied. Also possible to hire canoes and stand up paddle boards to take out on the bay. (1 hour included for free for all guests). The staff were lovely at all times. A delight to deal with at all times. Lastly yes you can hear the noise from the bar across the bay in the evenings from 10 to 2:30 am but the resort supplies ear plugs and we all slept perfectly fine every night. If you are sensitive to noise maybe bring some noise blocking ear plugs but don’t let that be the reason you miss out on staying in this stunning resort.

GGuest UserFacilities: The garden villa room is spacious enough, with extra beds available in both the living room and bedroom, which was very convenient for our family of two adults and two children. The large balcony dried clothes quickly. However, the room was a bit old, the air conditioner was noisy, and the bathroom door creaked loudly every time it opened or closed. Service: We requested a room close to the snorkeling area in our booking, and they gave us a spot right in the middle of it, which was great. Upon arrival, we received welcome juice and a detailed resort explanation presented kneeling, a very nice touch. Food was delivered to the room, and overall, the service attitude was excellent. Environment: The resort has abundant vegetation and is quite expansive, making you feel like you're staying in a forest. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes; after lying by the pool for a short while, I ended up with seven bites on my back. Every morning around 5 or 6 am, you can hear monkeys, various large birds, and boats, making it difficult to sleep in. Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well. Aside from that: On our first day, we went out to a restaurant recommended by reviews, and our whole family ended up with food poisoning, spending two days recuperating at the hotel. Before leaving the island, I felt a bit disappointed and decided to check out the underwater situation. Luckily, I spotted Nemo! Nemo's location: From the restaurant, walk along the beach to the first beachfront room with a pool. Enter the water and look about 1 meter outside the right side of the floating buoy area, as circled in the picture. The anemone isn't very big, only about 20 centimeters, so you'll need to look carefully.

GGuest UserI had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal. I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable. Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common. The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand. The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon. The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets. Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

ZZhenzhushiOverall, it was good. Despite the lively surroundings, the soundproofing was excellent, and the room was very quiet. The service was attentive; the front desk staff spoke a little Chinese, and there was a gentleman who escorted us to our room. Phi Phi Island is beautiful.

GGuest UserThis was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (if you get the choice, it's worth signing up for it). Cats roaming the property and island; great if you're a cat lover like me- if not, no worries, they pretty much leave you alone unless you seek their attention. The only drawback I have is that no matter how many people stay in the room, you get only one key. This is because the key is inserted into a ”socket: that powers the air and lights. Conservation is important for resources on the island. They will, however, let your other roomies in any time, day or night, by stopping by the front desk. If you're not used to it, be aware that Thai beds in general are very firm. Not much padding.

NNuwan 12I recently stayed at Phi Phi Bay View Resort for one night in a Deluxe Sea View room. The overall experience was pleasant, though I would not classify the property as truly luxurious compared to the price point. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the location—the view from the room was stunning, with beautiful beaches right in front of the property, accessible only to hotel guests. The resort also provides complimentary beach bags for in-house guests, which is a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety and quality. The staff were courteous and helpful, making the stay comfortable. However, the washroom facilities felt outdated and could benefit from renovation. Additionally, the main market is a bit far, so walking may not be convenient for everyone.

GGuest UserThe best hotel in Thailand. We suffered for the first 3 night in another hotel on Phi Phi and we couldn’t sleep coz of the loud noises from the beach parties but then we moved to U Rip and it was th best decision ever - clean, new, SILENCE, nice pool and great area far from the parties. But still accessible coz it is like 15 min walk. Totally recommend especially if you are a light sleeper 👌
