Opposite AEON 1 for nice shopping and eating. There are 3 AEON malls in Phnom Penh now. Tuktuk booked via an app costs 6,000 Riels to Night Market. The Reception lady is so sweet. She booked me a tuktuk and I paid by cash directly to the driver. Thank you very much. From my memory Reception staff doesn’t work from 3am to 8am. Room is large and things are made from high quality materials. I love the pool on 41th floor. Breathtaking river views and city views up there. The restaurant is on the same floor so we walked pass it to use the pool. No other guests were there when both of us swam. Pool opens from 7am. Small changing room and toilet are near the pool. Fitness Room is on 7th floor. High quality and great services. No one was there when we worked out. After the guest finishes using the walking machine and sweats, a male staff comes to wipe the machine. Very good! Towels are readily available for guests to use both in the Fitness Room and Pool. The checked in and out were smooth. They returned the 50 USD deposit in both USD and Riel. In other cities, a room like this often costs 70 USD. Here the price is very good. The building is Celeste Building opposite Sofitel and AEON and we walked through it to the next building to see SF Hotel table in the corner. Excellent value for money. Btw it was Caesar Hotel before so room amenities and towels have that brand. Room is a bit wear and tear but clean and comfortable. Air con takes a long time to cool the room as they has a cover in front of it to avoid direct air flow to the bed. Carpeted walk way from elevator to the rooms. We enjoyed our stay very much and wish to come back to swim again.
Spend your time by your own version at Novotel Phnom Penh BKK 1, ideally located in the heart of the Kingdom of Wonder's capital. We offer 254 rooms and suites, flexible meeting spaces, an all-day dining venue, three bars, and room service to give you plenty of options to satisfy your cravings. You can keep up with your fitness routine at our InBalance Gym, take a swim in the pool, or enjoy some well-deserved "me" time at the Bodia Spa.

The hotel is in a great location👍, with restaurants, bars, supermarkets and everything else around, but the breakfast is a bit monotonous! The hotel rooms are also a bit small!
The Snowbell Hotel is the result of joint efforts by three young professionals - a designer, a financier and a hospitality professor, who have worked for the entire year of 2018 in bringing pieces of hand-sketch into reality.
The hotel occupies a total of two high floors(28th and 29th) within the landmark Bridge SOHO tower, making it one of the best in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, for a bird’s eye view of the capital city, and Mekong river. The building also comprises of the highest swimming pool in the country. Located on the 39th floor, it is the perfect one to cool down and relax after a day out or start your day wet. Of course, all guests will have free access to the pool.
All rooms are from hand-sketch designs, with a minimalist concept, Nordic-style and a huge emphasis on quality interior materials. The three material elements defining the interior are wood, marble and rough linen, while the three immaterial ones are light, void and view. The local attractions that are few steps from Riverside and within a 10-minute walk of NagaWorld Casino.
This hotel is 0.7 mi (1.1 km) from AEON Mall and 0.9 mi (1.5 km) from Independence Monument. Make use of convenient amenities, which include complimentary wireless Internet access and tour/ticket assistance. Take advantage of the hotel's room service. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A shuttle from the airport to the hotel is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite. Make yourself at home in one of the 70 air-conditioned rooms featuring refrigerators and minibars. 42-inch LED televisions with cable programming provide entertainment, while complimentary wireless Internet access keeps you connected. Private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations feature deep soaking bathtubs and complimentary toiletries. Guests will find embassies, government and organizations sit in harmony next to each other and all beneath his feet.

The accommodation is very comfortable, but there is a problem with cigarettes in the corridor, but not in the room. The room is spacious and the water pressure is strong. The staff is very good. They clean the room every day. Very good. I will come back to stay again when I come to work next time.

First I was very happy with my stay but after 10 days of staying I’m disappointed with cleaning. I asked several times housekeeping do the proper cleaning but the floor wasn’t moped at all. At the end I had to do the cleaning myself and the housekeeping stood next to me watching cleaning the floors!

Nice rooms but staff was beyond great! I forgot my passport in my room, called and they personally delivered it to me so I made my flight - though I had asked they send it via taxi driver, the young lady took it upon herself to ensure fast delivery - outstanding!!

We wanted somewhere to stay the night before our flight and this was located close to the airport. The room was a good price and clean. The beds were soft and toothpaste, conditioner etc was provided.
Check-in and check-out were swift (check out time is a generous midday) and there are several pools you can use. My son enjoyed the pool table and table tennis. The place is well-staffed and and very clean throughout. It looks like its photos on Trip.
We didn’t find the wider local area particularly inviting, and we spent a while looking for a restaurant that wasn’t where Trip Advisor said it would be. In the end, we ate at the hotel restaurant (chicken fried rice and spaghetti bol) and they were both fine.
Even though trip.com page shows that they provide free air port pickup and transport, they never replied our airport pick up request and no one provided airport pickup. And there is no FREE airport transfer, tuktuk charged us 2 usd, no car transfer was available even though we requested airport transfer when we checked in(trip.com mentions they provide free Honda car free transfer). It's very difficult to cross the road until the airport, so you need to arrange the transfer. Room is clean, food is nice but really bad service like cheating. You can't find this hotel in grab and Google map with name in trip.com, you need to search it with California international.

Outstanding
JJustanothertravellerHotel Kvl in Phnom Penh stands out for its prime location, nestled directly beside the Royal Palace and the river, making it a prime spot for tourists looking to explore the city's historical and cultural landmarks. The hotel itself is equipped with modern and stylish furnishings, ensuring a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly comfortable and the breakfast was a highlight, being both delicious and served à la carte, allowing for a personalized dining experience in the morning.
However, our experience took a turn when it came to the transfer service from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh. The cost of over $180 for the transfer felt exorbitant, especially given the condition of the vehicle and the service provided. Being transported in an older car, coupled with a driver who was not only unable to communicate in English but also constantly distracted by multiple ringing mobile phones, significantly detracted from our overall experience. Despite attempts to use Google Translate, communication was futile, and the incessant noise became a source of irritation.
Given the high price, our expectations for the transfer service were not met, leading us to conclude that utilizing a service like „Grab“ for a fraction of the cost would be a far better option in the future. On a more positive note, the transfer service from the hotel to the airport was priced at $20, which felt more reasonable and within acceptable limits.
Another significant issue was the noise level in our room. Situated on the top floor directly beneath the hotel's rooftop bar, the sound levels late into the night were intolerable. The booming music and lively atmosphere of the bar, while perhaps enjoyable for some, felt more like being in a nightclub than a hotel room. This was particularly unwelcome as we sought to rest and recover from the exhausting transfer earlier in the day.
In conclusion, while Hotel Kvl boasts an excellent location and modern amenities that contribute to a comfortable stay, the high cost and poor execution of the transfer service from Sihanoukville, coupled with the disruptive noise from the rooftop bar, marred our experience. Future guests would do well to consider alternative transportation options and inquire about room placement to ensure a more tranquil stay.
RRosy_K2340767GThis place is very centrally located. It has a ****** within the building and a basement walkway to Nagaworld 1. The walkway is lined with duty free shops. Breakfast is excellent with many choices. The only set back we had was our bedroom. Every 15 mins, it makes a loud noise like the air-conditioning is going to break down but we had a good view of the river. Overall, we love this hotel. Will definitely come back again.
BbrianmQ8209UUWe arrived and were welcomed from the start. The check in went smoothly. The rooms were great, clean and just right. Lovely pool thrown in which was just right post full day of touring. The hotel is great location and we walked to restaurant and local bars. Helpful staff from the start to finish. Thank you.
GGuest UserThere is lots to love about this hotel. The location is great (near the Royal Palace etc), the staff are polite and friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable and the views of the city and the river are just amazing. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and found it to be very reasonably priced, excellent food and stunning views of Phnom Penh at night. Of course the rooftop swimming pool is a highlight, both for swimming and for sitting looking at the view. Some guests have commented that it was very busy. Not at 9.30 in the morning (one other person in there) or in the evening (open until 9.30 and no-one there later in the evening).
ZzoslynneA nice boutique hotel, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast not a wide spread but definitely sufficient. They also served hot porridge per order. We asked for half boil egg, they gladly do for us. All staff from the front desk to the breakfast, helpful and friendly. Facilities only a pool but that is not what we go for so is fine. We ae happy with this hotel.
NNadine NStayed for the third time at this hotel in the space of 7 months! Love it so much, I keep coming back 😊 . As usual, friendly, amazing, efficient service from all staff starting at check-in and felt by all other staff members, especially cleaning, security and restaurant staff at Cloud 9.
Reception staff are always smiling, friendly and happy to help. Cleaning is done well and daily. Room service and Cloud 9 staff are friendly and quick. Staff mostly speak English so not a difficulty at all communicating. Check in and out is so quick and easy!
As always the pool is clean, quiet and well maintained. Room service and food at the hotel is top quality. Certainly, the spa is worth every cent and not that much more expensive than venturing out. Of course, you could get cheaper but the quality and environment at the hotel spa is truly serene, tranquil and top notch luxury!
Convenient shopping and food a plenty around the hotel and close to the riverside. Though it’s located close to the red 🚦 light district, security is exceptional and the area itself is not dangerous (keep your wits about you and valuables close regardless).
The only small drawback is the room lighting, although there are many lights, the yellow lighting can be quite dim especially around the sink area (ladies be warned, not so easy to apply makeup lol 😂) but this is a small thing. Overall, this remains my hotel of choice whenever in Phnom Penh!
Thank you for yet another wonderful stay at your amazing hotel!
GGuest UserAlthough my room was 34 floors up, the views over the Meekon river were stunning. Large room with small kitchenette and an aching machine. Breakfast in a local restaurant was basic but adequate. Swimming pool on the room was excellent and very bracing when the wind blows. Overall it was great valued and a very enjoyable stay.
IImtiaz ImtuEverything was fine, but they kept me in a room where the door lock was broken, and they gave me a manual key to use, which I couldn't use normally. It was very hard to use, and every time I wanted to open the room, I had to call reception for help. Despite this, they didn't give me another room to stay in.
Later, in a hurry, I forgot the key in the room and locked myself out. They couldn't even provide me with a duplicate key because they didn't have one. I informed the receptionist and waited outside the room for about two hours. After this time, they provided me with another room to stay in for just 10 minutes. I went to rest, and after 10 minutes, somehow they managed to open the door and called me to move back to the same room. They requested that I not forget the key inside again instead of giving me another room to stay in permanently. What a terrible experience; I wasted a day and a night there.
GGuest UserAn unfortunate experience, I found myself in the worst situation dealing with M Residence, as on the day of my check-in, the Sale Manager Vincent neglected to inform the receptionist about my booking, and instead of booking online for a fair rate, they wanted to charge me 50 USD per night, when it was only 24 USD online. Because the receptionist was new and unfamiliar with the process, she had to validate each step with her manager. It took me 45 minutes to check-in. The whole thing felt sketchy because I had to pay 130 USD with tax instead of 72 USD online with Airbnb small tax it would have cost max 86 USD if I recall. Anyway, I paid and received a very small room with hardly working air conditioning and filthy elevator. The swimming pool was breaking apart, and it appeared that the structure was inadequately maintained. There was no pool attendant, and no PH and CL analysis of the chemicals in the pool was available. The entire establishment is a shambles, and they definitely lack hospitality skills. Anyway I shared some information about my experience with the Manager who told me “The staff are so bad” I wanted to react and tell him that he should invest in training them but I could see there was no point in telling him has he clearly do not hold any sense of hospitality skills… The day before my departure I contact the “Receptionist Supervisor” and asked if I should do my check out now to collect my deposit back as I leave at 5:50 am and she informed to not to worry there is 24/7 staff at the lobby. Of course, the day of my check out there was no staff at the lobby to proceed my check-out so now they are ghosting me over 30 USD refund. In addition to all of this I intended to do a collaboration with the Sales manager upon my arrival a discount or free stay over some pictures which they gladly receive but never gave me proper feedback nor a compensation. M Residence is a disgrace to the hospitality industry in Cambodia. Their unethical practices and scams are not the way to conduct business.
JJDUBLYAWe had a few days in Phnom Penh then went to Vietnam and came back to Phnom Penh for another 4 nights and this is where we booked in. It is in a great position right in the middle of town hence we could nearly walk anywhere we wanted. Fantastic value for money including breakfast. The breakfast is very decent and it is a la carte.....with things like eggs bene, pancakes, asian breakfasts and you also get coffee, tea and juice. The room itself was very clean and the bed super comfortable. The previous place we had stayed the bed was hard as a rock. The rooms are decorated very nicely and the bathrooms are good too. You have dressing gowns etc, shampoo and soaps, fridge in the room, tissues and we had a balcony (not sure if all rooms have a balcony). The staff were always very helpful and super friendly. There is a small pool on the rooftop near the restaurant. There are only 4-5 lounge chairs but we always were able to get one when we wanted. It was never that crowded I guess because a lot of people are out and about during the day but it was so refreshing to have a pool when you came back from a day out sightseeing. There is also a coffee shop on the ground floor which is great just to grab a coffee when needed. We loved our stay at Lavanya Boutique Hotel and would not hesitate to recommend.
