Naiyang Discovery Beach Resort Reviews

Staff look a bit shy and quiet. Booked a Family Room with 3 beds and got room 6 on 2nd floor next to the stairs. Direct beach and restaurant are at the back of the resort. At night they and resorts nearby have dinner tables so the beach is lit and lively. Early in the morning they don’t set up yet so it’s very good to walk, run and exercise there. They’re having a renovation. Room 6 had very strong paint smell. Water faucets are usable so they don’t change yet. Hose spray for toilet is on the right and you will twist your body to hang it on the left. Coffee making table, clothes cabinet and safe box are inside the bathroom with walls to separate. Drain hole is near the wall of the toilet so when we shower, the toilet room is wet too. Wall mount shower gel and shampoo. Bring your tooth brush set as most places in Thailand don’t give. Water drains slow a bit but not clogged. Other rooms on ground floor are being renovated also. It’s a small resort in the shape of a town house and they have a small lane to walk to the beach. Next to that lane are 3 or 4 guest rooms on ground floor. If you need the best room, it’s on 2nd floor at the end and you have 2 large beds, a separate large room with microwave, table with 4 chairs at the balcony overlooking the beach. Other guests can walk to this balcony too. View is the sea and the roof of the beach front restaurant. Room 6 has a table & 2 chairs outside the room so when you smoke and eat, expect to see other guests walking pass. Tops convenience store is on the other side of the street. Many shops, restaurants and food stalls on this street. The resort is at the end of this small beach town & next to the National Park. Walking about 30 minutes towards the park direction, we saw a tiny coral islet and we crossed the coral underwater way from main beach to that islet. Wear aqua shoes as it’s impossible to walk with bare feet. Water level is around waist line. The main beach has a ***** of sand running towards that tiny islet and the other side has high sand. Very beautiful sunset. If you want to do that, go before 4pm because when it’s dark (after 6pm, mid October), there is almost no light in that zone and water starts to raise higher which means it’s more difficult to walk back from the tiny islet. The walk is short with strong waves. Water is warm.

This used to be a quiet and sleepy village with a tourist off-season. Now, it is bustling and packed with tourist signage, restaurants, and shops and seems more crowded. This hotel has a restaurant in the back right on the beach. The food is ok with tourist prices (you can walk down just 100 meters to a great restaurant) but the setting is fantastic. Beware, the path from the street/front of hotel/restaurant goes right past the rooms in a little hallway. Get a room on the 2nd floor if possible. The rooms are ok and nothing to rave about. It can feel claustrophobic since the only tiny window opens directly to a cement wall and you'd keep the main entrance/sliding doors closed and covered for privacy. It is very dark at night.

We arrived late evening and get our room easily.This was the room for 4 people with two big beds and nice furniture.The toilet and shower room was spacious and clean .it was a big fridge at the room.next day we asked about to check out later 1,5 hour and reception lady give us later check out for f4ee.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops and bars all around. I prefer this location which has two pools over any other hotel in Naiyang.

The room is not big, but very clean, with a small window. The temperature of the shower water and the air conditioning are very suitable. It is very close to the beach. Turn left when you go out and you will see the beach. There are also many restaurants and snacks nearby. There is a convenience store opposite, which makes shopping very convenient. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and actively help answer our questions. Recommended to stay

A good option for a few nights. The room is clean, has everything you need. The administrator is friendly and responsive. The big plus of this room is that you live practically on the seashore. A little disappointed by the lack of a window.

great location, staff, cozy, accommodation exceeded expectations

Stayed for a week in the Family Suite. The hotel is located on the beach, balcony overlooking the sea. Clean, quiet, the constant smoking of the neighbors was a bit annoying, all the smells were drawn into our room. The service is unobtrusive. The location is excellent - there are many affordable cafes near the hotel, there are macaques, opposite the Family mart. We liked everything, we recommend the deluxe room, the other rooms are smaller and without a balcony.

①The environment is very unsafe. There is no door between the hotel room and the road. Anyone can enter the hotel. The door of the room is a transparent glass door. I didn't dare to fall asleep all night, for fear that a thief would come in through the door. ②The service is also very poor, and there is no smile when talking. ③ If you can't eat breakfast, don't order breakfast. However, one good thing is that it is indeed by the sea, and you can hear the sound of the waves when you sleep on the bed.

Not exactly recommendable. Family flint beds, rock hard so into h-e! Hardly went to sleep despite many Shinga in the blood. Well, choose another accommodation and feel the beds first before check-in!
