Living on the top floor, the sound insulation is very bad, and the music from the bar next door lasts until late at night. The wall skin in the bathroom will peel off and hang there without peeling off. The water in the shower is hot and cold, unstable, and the water pressure becomes very small after a long wash. The room on the top floor is slanted and it is easy to bump your head. Slippers and toothbrushes are not provided at the front desk. I have never used the kettle, but there is water in the kettle. Breakfast is ok.

Unfortunately, this was genuinely one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The only positive thing I can say is that the location is very central. Everything else was far below acceptable standards. When we arrived, the receptionist was polite enough, and we were allowed to check in a little earlier than expected. That gave us a good first impression but it went downhill from there. As soon as we walked into the room, we were hit with a strong smell of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The room looked absolutely nothing like the photos online. There was visible dust on the headboard, the carpet didn’t feel or look clean, and the general condition of the room was poor. After settling in, we got into bed and immediately started itching. That’s when we checked the duvet and bedsheets and were shocked to find dirty yellow stains on the pillow, duvet, and sheets. We tried calling reception, but no one answered the phone. So we went down to the front desk and showed the staff the photos. One of the employees gave us new bedding but we had to change it all ourselves, which is not something you expect to do at a hotel. The next morning, we went down for breakfast, which was very basic. For the price we paid, we expected a much better selection and quality. When we returned to our room later in the day, housekeeping had been there. However, we discovered that one of their dirty cleaning cloths had been left inside our suitcase. We tried asking the cleaning staff about it, but they didn’t respond. We then showed the cloth to the man at reception, who just looked at us strangely and didn’t seem to care at all almost as if this kind of thing was normal at the hotel. Later, the cleaner came back into our room to take the cloth, but again, there was no apology just a rude look, as if we had done something wrong. At that point, we had enough. We decided to check out earlier than planned and booked a different hotel. We didn’t feel comfortable or welcome staying any longer. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many other hotels in the area with just as central a location, and I’m sure they offer a much better and more respectful experience.

On arrival, we were greeted by a great receptionist, who was very helpful and professional and managed to check us in a little bit earlier, which was wonderdul as we have been travelling for a long time. Unfortunately, right after check in, we realised there were some serious cleanliness issues. First, I noticed large cobwebs full of dust right anove bed. I had to ask the cleaner in the hallway and remove them myself as she was too short to reach it. You may still be able to see them in the room now, as even I struggled, however I shouldn't have to sleep under that. It didn't stop there I'm afraid. I tried to plug in my bedside lamp in socket (one of them doesn't work) and noticed a build up of debris and dust by the bed that wasn't hoovered for a long time. On the other side od the bed, we found a bits of food and old vape from previous guest, that is unacceptable! We informed the reception ans he was very apologetic and told us he will send the cleaner back after we leave the room. Just before having shower, I noticed one of the towels has black marks all over it. The fitted hairdryer is not working and has an awful lot dust build up on it. Finally, the window glass is broken and I have nearly cut my hand when admiring the beautiful view, as there were small shards on the window sil. I have tried to contact reception team as well as hotel director, but no response. Very unprofessional!

I have to echo the sentiments expressed in many of the negative reviews here, as my experience was disappointingly similar. From the moment we entered the small lobby to check in, the atmosphere was uninviting—about as cold as the winter air outside. There was no greeting, no smile, and a distinct lack of warmth that set a negative tone for the rest of our stay. The breakfast was another letdown, offering a limited and uninspiring selection that left much to be desired. However, one redeeming quality of this hotel is its good location. Situated right on Wenceslas Square, it provides easy access to the city’s major attractions, making it a convenient choice for sightseeing. While the location is hard to beat, the overall experience leaves much room for improvement, especially when it comes to customer service and amenities.

Do not use this restaurant, rude obnoxious and ripping people off with service charge and demanding a tip, even the manager had the same attitude. My daughter left there crying.cover charge implemented at start which is fine but then demanded a 20% tip

Hotel was ok but the restaurant staff and service was appalling, waiting was endless for everyone, the waitress had a face like a slapped **** and did not want to be there Beers were short measured food barely adequate, then they added stuff on the bill we did not order or eat and threated to call five0 when I complained so avoid this one

The worst customer experience I have ever had. Waiting staff were rude and obnoxious. Delivered the wrong drinks and wrong food. Ran out of the food we had ordered and told us after half the party had been served and 45 minutes had passed so that some of our party went without their meals. Tried to over charge us. Ignored our attempts to correct the bill. And the waitress deliberately kicked a chair into one of our party who was simply trying to help resolve the matter and ensure we paid for our order. Steer clear from this place if you are looking for even the most average treatment by the staff. They clearly don’t value customers.

The location, the price, and the photos, had us very optimistic. And then we entered the room. It was old, run down, and filthy. We were afraid (for our health) to sleep in the bed, so we rebooked another hotel immediately, probably losing our prepaid 3-night payment. Which was worth it.
