Location was initially hard to find, but I saw a sign on the street pointing the right way to go. My directions gave two ways to go. The first involved going uphill and there were bikes whizzing by, so it wasn't very good if you have luggage. The other was flat and went by a bunch of people hanging out in the street. I didn't feel threatened but it isn't the best area in this lovely city. I don't know what it's like after dark. Basically, you take a right at the McDonalds, walk down the street past the Ethnic Market (a larger convenience store where I bought Coke Zeros several times) and follow the street around to the roundabout, take a right and go about 2-3 blocks. Staff was pleasant, helped with a safe issue (a prior occupant had left it locked) and kept their cool when I spilled some Coke Zero on the floor when retrieving my luggage that I had left after checking out. Internet was good, safe was a good size, and breakfast was good in terms of quality and quantity. There is a restaurant in the hotel that was closed Sunday night. We were very tired one night and ate there and we were glad that it was available. There isn't a lot around the hotel but it was a short walk to a nice area that had a lot of restaurants . We also were able to walk to a laundromat in the area as well as all of the tourist attractions. One curious thing about the hotel was that the room numbers were on the carpet instead of being on the door.

I stayed only for one night, it was a late night check-in, fast and efficient service, clean and spacious room, very comfortable. I also had dinner at their restaurant, very good dinner and excellent service both in the room and in the kitchen (because we arrived at 21.30 they waited for us). Great breakfast! Super good!

5 Stars isn’t quite enough! This is a breathtakingly beautiful hotel. Filled with a tremendously talented and dedicated team who treat you like family and aren’t satisfied until they have knocked your socks off:) From the moment you pull up outside until you turn in your keys and bid arrivederci to the AMAZING team at the Abano Ritz Terme, be prepared to be blown away at every opportunity. The ambiance is sophisticated and serene. The pool and the grounds are opulent and oh so soothing. The spa team- ok I’m out of adjectives. Suffice to say I felt pampered. I felt valued as a guest (which unfortunately does not happen as much these days as if used too.) The food?!? OMG THE FOOD!!! Exquisite!!! I lived learning about the mineral springs and deposits at the base of the Eugenian Hills. My body and soul were recharged and I was so surprised! I’ve been told that one needs a full week for the mudpacks to do their thing completely. In just a few days my aches and joint pain disappeared. Would love to spend more time in the unbelievable swimming pool there. My husband and I are already planning out next visit- which will be a full 7 days (at minimum). Do yourself a huge favor- reserve a week at the spa and be prepared to be dazzled ❤️⭐️💝

The hotel staff has a good service attitude and the facilities are relatively complete. But it is far from the city, there is a bus nearby, and the last bus is more than seven o'clock in the evening, and there is no public transportation. It is recommended that people who drive come.

Just came back from happy stay at Hotel Terme delle Nazioni. From the moment we arrived, I felt nice, calm and relaxing atmosphere which was promising for a good stay and I wasn’t wrong Very happy to stay in the lovely and comfortable white room, every personnel from the reception to dining/breakfast room were nice and kind…special thanks to Sig.ra T at the reception, who sorted a little issue with my reservation, took appropriate action with my email correspondence, and kindly let us check in early as we arrived quite earlier than their check-in time. Water in the swimming pool was perfect temperature and well maintained. It was good as there weren’t many people in and out of water at the time we were there. Dinner and breakfast was OK. It would be good if they offer freshly squeezed orange juice and more selections of cooked food for breakfast. Too bad Montegrotto terme is so far from home. I can’t wait for the soonest opportunity to return for the longer stay!

GGuest UserCominciamo con le note positive. - Hotel molto vicino alla fiera (5 minuti a piedi) e ben fornito dai mezzi. I monolocali sono molto accoglienti e ben forniti: sono presenti la tv, la lavastoviglie, il microonde, il lavandino e un tavolo/*****ola molto comodo seppur piccino. Il bagno ha una doccia spaziale con soffione e doccino, ci sono il bagnoschiuma e il sapone per le mani, ci sono gli asciugamani. Consiglio di portarsi l'asciugacapelli perché è presente ma poco potente se avete molti capelli. Il letto per me è stato estremamente comodo ma avviso che il materasso è duro e non a tutti piace. Finestre molto grandi, perfette per rinfrescare le sere d'estate. Doppia tenda (una bianca leggera e l'oscurante), molto comode. Le note negative che, ahimè, sono abbastanza. - Partiamo col dire che è un 4 stelle superior quindi ci si aspetterebbe determinati servizi come il wi fi gratuito nei monolocali che non c'era (abbastanza assurdo nel 2023); un telefono interno collegato alla reception, il telefono c'era ma nessun numero da poter chiamare quindi in caso di bisogno si deve scendere, uscire dal palazzo, attraversare un piccolissimo cortile ed entrare nella struttura principale (questo posso accettarlo in un 2 stelle, non 4) e il kit di benvenuto con spazzolino, dentifricio, shampoo e balsamo. Il frigobar NON è incluso ed è completamente sfornito (una bustina di patatine, due acqua e un succo) alla ”modica” cifra di 3€. La colazione non è inclusa nel prezzo (prezzo che non è assolutamente irrisorio) ma anzi, costa la bellezza di 10€ ed è a buffet. La pulizia delle camere abbastanza scarsa onestamente: gatte di polvere sulle tende, polvere sui davanzali, macchie di caffè sul muro, qualche capello lungo su un paio di asciugamani e nel letto. Non c'erano dei lenzuoli leggeri nell'armadio, assurdo essendo estate e il letto ha una trapunta. Eviterei di descrivere il letto come ”queen bed” perchè potrebbe fuorviare, è semplicemente un letto matrimoniale leggermente stretto. Il personale molto cordiale e gentile anche se sbrigativo e poco esaustivo. Diciamo che, a mio avviso, non vale il prezzo che costa.

GGuest UserI booked one hour before arrival, arrived late after a long trip and was starving - everything was closed, but the friendly front office team made kind suggestions where I could order food. Then the chef passed the lobby on his way home and asked if I wanted to eat. His team was still there, busy cleaning up and they quickly prepared me some delicious food, wow so friendly and kind - this is true hospitality from all members of the team and such an unusual caring experience. Thank you! Room and facilities are excellent, clean and nice. But it's always the people that make the real difference.

The modern and functional structure is just outside Padova, in a residential area, a few kilometres from the East Padova exit of the motorway A4. It is in a strategic position because it is located in a quiet place but from which you can move very easily both to the center of Padova and to the nearby bus station of Vigonza to take a train to Venice in just 40 minutes. I thank the owner for his excellent advice, both for visiting Padova and for traveling to Venice, and the room, recently renovated, was very wide, modern and perfectly air-conditioned. The bed was very comfortable and the whole structure was beautifully clean.Buffalo breakfast offers a great variety and quality for both those who love the sweet and those who love the salt. There is a large parking area outside, although not kept in custody. The owners were very nice and available. It really deserves!

GGuest UserDO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL, specially if you are a solo traveler. I made a 2-night reservation for work purposes. The convenient location and the good rating made me decide for this hotel, even if it was more expensive than similar alternatives (110€/night during the week for a 2*). When I arrived, I regreted my choice as soon as I walked in. The pictures online are much more flattering than reality. The hotel is completely dated, is too warm and smells funny everywhere, from the reception to the rooms. The staff is not helpful. The room....much smaller than advertised, tiny tiny, dated, with a strange smell. Cleanliness, despite not being terrible, is far from irreprehensible, specially in the ancient bed quilts that must be used for several guests in a row. The bathroom is also small, with a tiniest shower (that I didnt event want to get in). From the vents in the bathroom you hear ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING from the nearby rooms. Also in the room itself, walls are paper thin and you hear everything from the other rooms..you don't feel calm and relaxed at all. To top it up, I don't know quite how to put it into words, but the environment is very strange. I didn't feel safe at all. I could barely sleep with this feeling of insecurity, specially after having read comments on TripAdvisor about strangers being able to open the doors. I left after 1 night in the early morning, despite having paid for 2 nights. There was 0 availability from the staff to discuss the negative points or cancellation policy for the 2nd night, even though you pay WAY TOO MUCH for what is advertised and then ends up being a complete disappointment. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER even though I only wanted some place to sleep for work purposes. This felt like on the movies, that terrible strange place where people go to sleep after somenone kicks them out off the house.

Great place for the money. Loved the restaurant at Giorgio, they make exceptional pizza. We spent all the time in the gym and later in the pool, where we met two great tip-tap-toe dancers from Frosinone. The only problem was that the neighbouring room complained for the banging at 3 am. But that was our fault, we admit, and we’re deeply sorry. Padova (Padua) is an amazing city, full of things, but a bit over the place. The main sight we suggest is the “Ponte de quatro martiri” where you can enjoy the sunset and the spiders hanging around. Also we suggest a day to Legnaro, the only thing is to beware incoming thunderstorms. The best thing about Padua though is the bus system, which is free and always on time. I’ve forgot to mention the beautiful Capela di Scovregni, where you can admire the masterpieces by Lionardo and Rafaello. We would also like to thank the staff for their exceptional service, summed by the motto: “NO”, which they told meant “of course”. The only complaint was when we asked for the access to the meeting room, to which they replied: “…cuesti a un cost”, which made us realise how tough life is for everyone

GGuest UserThe hotel Donatello is well located across from the city's Basilica di San Antonio, and about 5 minutes from the famous Prato della Valle and 10-15 from the city centre and old city (university, ghetto, daily markets, pedestrian street, etc). From the outside, the hotel looks quite elegant and I suspect that front facing rooms have a nice view. To be honest, however, everything else about the hotel was rather disappointing. Rooms are actually tired and pretty gloomy. The single rooms are extremely small, the doubles are of decent size but tend to overlook blind narrow courtyards and feel rather dark and a bit depressing with a decor that seems stuck in the 1970s. Cleanliness is variable, lighting unpleasant, and whilst beds are decent, the pillows are hard and quite uncomfortable. Breakfast is quite poor. If you come when one of the ladies taking care of the breakfast room are around, they will prepare you a decent coffee from the barista machine, however, if they are not, it is a fairly ghastly automatic machine that uses instant coffee to make ”fake” espressos and cappuccino which is used instead. Juice is a strange watery thing from a machine. The best part are the nice homemade cornetti (croissants filled with jam, cream or chocolate) but apart from them, fruit, salad, bread, etc are all of poor quality and the scrambled eggs and meat are stone cold. There is a toaster which doesn't seem to work well and mediocre bread. Service in the hotel is not very friendly - reception staff ranged from reasonably cordial to barely polite and in one case, outright unpleasant. In short, the place is certainly not horrible, but equally, it doesn't seem too bothered about customers let alone interested in making them want to come back. A bit of a wasted opportunity given the nice location they fail to capitalise on.

TTravel00485005287My husband and I booked a family room this year, just for the 2 of us , because that was all that was available - they are that popular! The room was in the newly renovated Galileo annex and it was wonderful: spacious & well-thought-out; the bathroom was great with a roomy fabulous shower, great water pressure & plenty of hot water. There was lots of closet space and storage, too. It was a partitioned studio, really with, in addition to the bedroom area, a sofa that also made into a bed (which we didn’t need.) All of this at a very reasonable rate! There was a heating issue that required a plumber (nothing major, but something that made us very uncomfortable.) The staff moved us to another room as soon as they were able ( it wasn’t easy because they were fully booked!) and I only write about this in order to demonstrate the kindness of the desk staff. Our new room was a double in the same annex; smaller, of course but also well-fitted. The other thing both rooms shared, unfortunately, was very spotty WIFI. If this is of great importance to you, I would suggest booking in the main building or another annex. This is the only reason I’ve given 4 instead of 5 stars. On a very bright note, after Covid the breakfast buffet has returned: plentiful with varied options ( yes, hot eggs! Beautiful, buttery scrambled eggs!) and, if not already included in your room rate, at a very reasonable 8€. And yes - we WILL gladly return!

Hotel well placed and equipped with all comforts. Beautiful pool as well as the sauna and steam room. Great restaurant, friendly and polite staff and reasonable prices. The poolside aperitif is wonderful and doesn't cost a fortune. The pool water temperature is very pleasant and never too hot.

GGuest UserStop for the second time. The room didn't like - the bathroom door didn't open, in the bathroom under the refrigerator - the mini-fridge was missing.Clean. The windows went out to the parking lot. Noisy. Sound isolation suffers. Neighbors were prevented from sleeping at night.
