The housekeeper is enthusiastic and the service is also very good! The homestay is clean, quiet and elegant. (The indoor lighting is particularly good, there are independent clothes hangers, so there is no need to worry about having no place to dry clothes) It is located in the ancient city and there are many snacks. It is convenient to park by car. It is also convenient to take a taxi out of the South Gate. It is easy to find when you come back from going out, just walk around the city wall. If you want to take the subway, you can drive to the C exit of the subway station. There is a large open space, you can park anywhere, or you can take a taxi. If you leave early and don’t have breakfast, you can buy roadside stalls there. There was a performance at the South Gate on the day we went, and we took the subway to Haichang Polar Ocean Park and Wheat Island the next day. I came back early in the evening and made an appoin**ent with the housekeeper for a home theater. I went to Laoshan on the third day.

This hotel is the best for travellers who want to see a slice of daily life in Qingdao. Located in the residential Shanghe Road, it is a hole in the wall, buried among the older neighbourhood of 1960s to 1980s buildings. But enter the hotel and you will find yourself in a Bohemian styled Sequoia restaurant, which serves good steak, good coffee and of course, good beer. The owner, Mr Sam Li, was a very friendly owner, who helped us around. There was a sweet lady receptionist who also helped us with getting our first DiDi ride hailing. The interior of the hotel was wood paneled, and the beds were really comfortable. There is a backyard where you can drink tea. The hotel is located about 200m away from Taishan Road subway station, the terminal for Line2 of the Qingdao metro. For a seafood market experience, ask for Baodao Seafood market, which is just around the corner. Go on Sundays for the best variety of seafood.

The room was large and clean and sunny. It is really comfortable to lie on the bed in the warm winter sun. Especially the room with a balcony. This time the time is tight, I stayed for one day. Stay for a few days next time. Near the entrance of Beijiushui Scenic Area, it is estimated that summer will be more beautiful. There is a large living room, where many people can play games and engage in activities together, or read books quietly. The water is Lushan mineral water, sweet, and tea.

The location is very good, the boss also sent us food and drinks, the room is very cozy and the children like it, but it is still very troublesome to check in to the homestay. There is a flight of stairs before the elevator, and it is very difficult to carry the luggage. I didn't know it was a household with multiple rooms before I stayed there - it felt like living in someone else's house. The bedding is also relatively old. The sea view room is as shown in the picture, you can only see it by zooming in. There were people washing clothes in the hall after 11pm. There were also people going out in the morning. I'd better book a hotel in the future...
