The hotel I chose for my trip has a very good environment and location. The room with a bathtub is a pleasant experience and the service is very considerate. I stayed for another night and the overall stay experience was very pleasant. The facilities and equipment in the room are very good. The hotel has a good location and there is a free underground parking lot. The front desk and the room lady Li also provided considerate service.

This is definitely a 5 star hotel and we would recommend it for location and service, the only problem we had was at check in when we arrived at 4pm and were told that our room wasn’t ready and it would be another 1 hour to 1 and a half hour away, which was totally unacceptable as check in is at 3pm, the lady tried to upsell us to another room, not a free upgrade but to charge us the extra, I thought this was not on and as we had been travelling all day since 4am that morning, our room should have been ready, after we refused the upsell, suddenly told there is a room available in about 20 minutes but on a lower floor than we requested, we were still not happy and then suddenly another room appeared, also not on a high floor, we decided to take it as we were so tired, when we got to the room, it was not in a good viewing position, had a wall outside the window, we went back downstairs and this time I asked for the manager, Jack came to look after us and finally understood us, gave us a drink voucher and we sat in the lovely lounge area and had an ice cold drink and within 10-15 minutes Jack had gotten us a higher floor(as we had originally requested anyway) and helped us to our room, the view was uninterrupted and the room much better, Jack also sent some beers to our room to enjoy and was very apologetic, thank you Jack for your help. I didn’t want to write anything negative here because this is a lovely hotel and the Shangri-La group is normally very good, we have stayed many times in different places but I just had to mention that part because I don’t want other people who have been travelling all day to arrive and their room isn’t ready and to be told to wait longer its just not right. Everything else went smoothly and the facilities are great, swimming pool, location, cleanliness. Thanks again to Jack, lovely guy

Location: 5 min walk from hotel to The mixc mall 万象城 super convenient. There are marts and restaurants nearby. Around 10 min walk to the train station of B2 exit Room: interior all well maintained looks new. Everyday if you opt for room cleaning they do provide fruits and cucumbers nice! They also provide you a place to hang your laundry! Super good. Tv connected to dramas from most provider Hotel: they do have a ** storage area very convenient to order in Given a choice if i return to Qingdao i will stay in Fuxin hotel again

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the amazing hotel with a fantastic location and incredibly friendly staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The hotel's location was absolutely perfect - right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the major attractions and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and shops. I loved being able to step out of the hotel and immediately immerse myself in the vibrant energy of the city. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I could possibly need. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the little touches that made me feel right at home. But what truly set this hotel apart was the staff. Every single person I encountered, from the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff, was incredibly kind, attentive, and eager to assist with anything I needed. Their genuine hospitality made my stay truly special and memorable. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay with exceptional customer service. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the city.

The location is perfect, a one minute walk from the May Fourth Square and staff is very friendly. The room was not very clean upon arrival and they barely clean after your arrival (not an issue but first time seeing the bed not made). I had a no window room and it was quite hot despite having the AC on, the staff notified me that they don’t have AC on right now but could bring me a fan if needed.

The stay was perfect. It had a nice view with clean room. Also, Front desk workers were very friendly. I would like to comback again. Thank you for the services.

The hotel is very close to Guangrao Road subway station, about 6/7 minutes on foot. It takes about the same time to get to the Beer Museum, and it only took 8.5 to get to the trestle by taxi. The room is tatami style, the first time I stayed in such a room, it was quite comfortable. The toilet and shower are separated, which is good. I checked the hygiene when I entered the room, it was very clean, and the bed had no odor, and the bath towels and face towels were disposable 👍🏻. Overall, it was a good stay experience.

Subject: Request for Room Change Delay – Service Improvement and Compensation Request Dear Westin Qingdao Team, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the room change request process I experienced today. I initially requested a room change for a better view, and despite waiting for over an hour, I did not receive any proper response or resolution. When I first arrived at my room, I found that one side of the view was almost entirely blocked by the neighboring building, which was not what I expected. I called the front desk to request a room change, but after 20 minutes with no response, I called again. I was told the team was checking on it. After waiting another 10 minutes without any follow-up, I called once more. The staff seemed to have difficulty communicating in English and repeated that they were still checking. Eventually, I was told that a room on the 16th floor might be available, and someone would come to show it to me. However, no one came. I waited again, then called once more about 10 minutes later, only to be told that the front desk was still confirming and that the new room would not be ready for another 30 minutes. At this point, I had already wasted nearly an hour of my time in Qingdao without any clarity on whether I could even change rooms. As a guest who chose your esteemed hotel for its reputation for excellent service, this experience has been highly disappointing. The lack of communication and inefficient handling of a simple request does not meet the standard expected from the Westin brand. I kindly request a formal explanation of this situation and an appropriate form of compensation for the inconvenience I experienced. Great location being close to Airport Bus Stop, Subway lines, Food and Shopping. The directions provided to the apartment from the Airport Bus Stop can be improved because turning left or right depends on where one is facing. Suggest the directions include the landmarks (shop names) that one would be passing on the right heading to the apartment building. Using G25 as a landmark is not easy for first timers to Seoul as it is a chain of convenience stores known to locals but not to foreigners. So, I was worried when I passed each G25 outlet wondering whether I have missed my drop off point. Further, upon reaching the building, it would be good to indicate that there is a Currency Exchange outlet on the ground floor. This will allow us the visitor to know that we are in the right building. The shower head needs to be relocated as it is placed in a very awkward position.

This apartment is very comfortable, in a great area with a stunning view of the marina. The fridge is large, the bed is soft and extra pillows depending on the menu can be delivered. There is a 24 hour robot delivery for food and supplies ordered from stores. There is a convenience store 200m outside of the main entrance. You can walk to the May 4th statue and marina in about 10 minutes. Don't miss out on the neon light extravanga on all the buildings in that street that you can see from the windows. The famous beer street is not too far away either. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
