recently stayed at this apartment and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The décor was modern yet cozy, and the apartment was equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay – from a fully stocked kitchen to fresh linens and fast Wi-Fi. The location was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to explore the area. Despite being central, the apartment was very quiet at night, so I slept really well. The host was also fantastic – responsive, friendly, and always ready to help with recommendations or questions. Their attention to detail really made me feel welcome. Overall, this apartment felt like a home away from home, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again on my next trip. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay!

The location is a big plus. It's right by a subway exit, with MixC City just next door, offering plenty of dining options. The facilities are decent, though they feel a bit dated and the lighting is quite dim. It comes equipped with a washing machine, a fridge, and kitchen facilities. Cleanliness was just average.

The location of the hotel is magnificent, close to many attractions and in the highly developed Shinan District. Mixc is just downstairs!!!. The room itself has a nice ambience and atmospheric vibe to it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very clean, and the rooms are immaculate. Very good hotel, with professional staff members, 10/10 would recommend.

The room was impeccable, featuring a stunning floor-to-ceiling window with panoramic sea views, a spacious and impeccably clean king-size bed, breathtaking scenery, and a captivating light show at night. The sumptuous breakfast and afternoon tea were truly delightful, and the fruit platter was a particular highlight for my wife. The convenient car service, the manager's dedication and professionalism, and the doormen's thoughtful and attentive service all contributed to an exceptional stay. A huge thank you to all the staff for their exceptional efforts; Haitian truly lives up to its reputation as a 'super five-star' hotel. The hotel boasts a luxurious and elegant lobby, and its prime central location in Qingdao puts it close to May Fourth Square and MixC Mall. Certain floors offer stunning sea views. With Metro Lines 2 and 3 conveniently located right outside the hotel entrance, guests can easily access and transfer to all of Qingdao's attractions, many of which provide free entry for seniors. The hotel staff are highly attentive and promptly resolve any issues. Dining options include Chinese, Western, and Japanese restaurants, where the set menus offer great value for money. This hotel is truly the best choice for anyone visiting Qingdao.

We were given a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The room was very spacious, and the service was excellent. For families traveling with kids, having laundry facilities available was incredibly convenient. The breakfast area was very clean and well-maintained; it would have been even better with a wider variety of options. The hotel's location is also very convenient for getting around, with easy access to Metro Lines 2 and 3, plus various bus routes. One minor issue was the low water pressure in the bathroom and slow drainage, which might be due to ongoing renovations.

A wonderful and cozy hotel with a perfect location! I had a fantastic stay here. The property is beautiful, the breakfasts are great, and I was so pleasantly surprised to find a coffee maker in my room—it made my mornings perfect. The best part is the incredible location. The hotel is just a short walk from the beautiful seaside promenade, where I enjoyed lovely walks and watched stunning sunsets every evening. It was also incredibly convenient to be able to easily walk to major sights like May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center. For my trip to Qingdao, I was looking for a hotel with convenient access to transportation, shopping, and dining. After reading numerous traveler reviews, I opted for the newly opened Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel (May Fourth Square branch). The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, and the cleanliness was also quite good. The facilities were comprehensive. Although there wasn't a direct sea view, the city lights at night were still dazzling. Breakfast was plentiful, offering local specialty snacks that tasted great. Even with many guests staying, everything remained quite orderly. A notable feature: The laundry room was a very popular spot, often with queues forming. The hotel site originally served as the Qingdao Workers' Sanatorium, which I personally believe contributes to its 'quiet oasis in a bustling city' feel. Downside: As some other guests have mentioned, the shower water temperature would occasionally fluctuate between hot and cold, and the water spray was too dispersed. I hope this can be improved.

The location is excellent, and as a standalone building, it offers a great environment. Our room on the 5th floor was very quiet. Most facilities have been updated and are in excellent condition. We appreciated that the floor drain had no odor and drained smoothly, and the shower offered strong, consistent water pressure. The towels were thoughtfully disinfected and sealed in plastic bags. Both the air conditioning and the Xiaomi air purifier operated silently. Breakfast was generous, and the staff were all very attentive and had excellent attitudes. Minor drawbacks: The electric curtains couldn't be paused midway. The bathroom was quite small, and the mural above the toilet was unappealing. Furthermore, the bedside tables and desk surfaces were made of outdated, rather shabby plywood.

Located just off Hong Kong Middle Road, the hotel is not directly on the main thoroughfare, ensuring a quiet stay. It's roughly a 10-15 minute walk to May Fourth Square, MixC Mall, and Hisense Plaza. Suning and Ginza are even closer, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel is quite sizable, spanning over 20 floors. Higher floors offer glimpses of the sea, views of the light show, and even City Hall. As an InterContinental Hotels Group property, the brand's renowned quality is evident; the amenities are high-quality. The breakfast spread is very generous, featuring both English and Japanese options, and the executive lounge on the 28th floor offers morning tea. The hotel does have a swimming pool, though it's not very large and is primarily used by children attending swimming lessons. On the downside, the rooms are a bit dated, there are no self-service laundry facilities, and the in-room TV doesn't support screen casting.
