"We had a smooth check-in, arriving an hour earlier than the scheduled time. The receptionist was friendly and have good customer service. We were given a top-floor room that was clean, spacious, and had a decent view. However, the nearby hills were under construction, and the noise did disturb our afternoon rest. One of the best things about the hotel is its location — it’s within walking distance of the Kea Farmers Market and the sheep sanctuary, and just a 13-minute drive to the BOH Tea Hill restaurant. There are also several food outlets right in front of the hotel, making everything easily accessible. The one major frustration was the lack of soundproofing in the room. We could clearly hear our neighbors talking, laughing, and making loud noises around midnight. We could even hear people walking in the hallway and entering their rooms. It was difficult to sleep because the noise was just too loud. That is the only negative about it."

"Lovely boutique hotel right opposite the golf course, good as we are golfers. Great place to relax and chill. Hotel service is good and porters are helpful. The only setback was the dinner in the restaurant as the food is below standard! The fish meal my friend ordered were smelly and not fresh. My smoked duck was like salty duck! They changed the meals for us. Thanks to that."

"Staying at Compod Resort was a unique and refreshing experience. As a new establishment, it has a lot of charm and potential. The cabin was nicely renovated and cozy, with thoughtful touches like Netflix access and simple facilities including a portable stove, plates, and utensils—which were definitely appreciated. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The fan was quite noisy, and I had to switch it off to get a quiet night’s sleep, which made the room a bit warm. Also, while it’s great to have cooking options, the pan was not usable due to peeling layers, and some of the painting in the unit could use a touch-up. I was a bit surprised by the requirement for a down payment, as accommodations are fully paid upfront when booked via Trip. It might also be a good idea to make breakfast optional—since guests have different tastes and preferences. Overall, it’s a lovely place with a lot of potential, and the little gestures from the hosts were truly appreciated. Would recommend it for those looking for a peaceful, cabin-style getaway with a personal touch."

"We recently embarked on a family trip to the enchanting Cameron Highlands, where we had the pleasure of staying at a one-of-a-kind hotel for two nights. This hotel stands out in the region not only for its unique architecture but also for its rich history, which adds a certain charm to the overall experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff, who were exceptionally kind and attentive. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs, making our stay even more enjoyable. One delightful touch was that they offered to wash our car every day, which was such a refreshing way to start our mornings. Our room was quite spacious and generally clean, providing us with plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. However, I did notice that the in-room entertainment options were quite limited. While there was a television, the selection of channels was minimal, which left us with little else to do in the evenings. In terms of hotel facilities, there were not many options available to keep guests occupied. We found ourselves wishing for additional amenities that would enhance the experience. One notable inconvenience was the drainage in the bathroom; it was not functioning well, and we often had to deal with water pooling on the floor during showers, which was a bit frustrating. Despite these drawbacks, our overall experience at the hotel was positive. The combination of the unique setting, friendly staff, and the charm of the area made for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel for a short visit, as it offers a nice retreat, particularly for those looking to unwind in a tranquil environment."

"This is my second time in strawberry park resort. I love the ambience here. Very serene, quite, far from the road. Its peaceful here and would totally stay here again if i come to cameron highland. But the hotel did not provide ironing tools. Just that 😅 but overall i really enjoyed my time here. Love!!"
