The location is very close to Xiaozhu Station, a small town that is very quiet. You can drink coffee for breakfast and read socially on the first floor. There is also a big supermarket nearby. Although the staff is not very good in English, they are really responsive. The design of the second floor youth travel structure is very user-friendly, and the privacy and safety are also superb. Will be willing to go again!
I used it this time for climbing with a friend. The staff was also very kind!
The kitchen, dining area, washroom & shower room was also quite clean and comfortable.
This time I stayed in a Japanese-style room, but it's perfect if you think that there is a kotatsu and you just sleep!
Tickets for nearby hot spring facilities (about 5 minutes walk) were also cheaply purchased at the reception!
I would like to stay again next time.
It’s a hostel. We have to pay for the towels
Good mattress but my blanket came without covers on. So that’s not good housekeeping.
The bathing - water spray good strength with shampoo conditioner and body wash.
There is laundromat.
Dust at the corner of the rooms
The aircon heat only covers the top but couldn’t get to the whole room cos the beds blocked the air ventilation. Hence cold sleeping at the lower bunks
Very very very tight space.
It’s walking distance from station. 10 mins
Surrounded by eateries
We got this cos wanted a budget stay with resting space for 4 people. So it fits my checklist nevertheless.

This is a youth hostel. I booked a separate double bed with a bathroom. It's the off-season now. The price is expensive compared to hotels in Karuizawa. It can be said that there is no comparison. First of all, the location is not good. It takes more than 25 minutes to walk from the station and 20 minutes to the bus terminal. It's quite far to walk to play. It's like hiking.
Because it is a youth hostel, you can cook by yourself, and it has all the seasonings, tea, and coffee. It is very clean and the surroundings are very quiet. When we stayed there, we saw one or two other single backpackers and a foreign manager who often stayed in the hostel.
I don't understand why accommodation in Hakuba Village is so expensive during the off-season😂😂
Although it was written as one room on the reservation site, it was actually a dormitory type.
The facility side is not responsible for the mistake of the description of the reservation site, but we have given as much consideration as possible to this request.
The location is great, so next year I would like to stay in a private room with a renraku in chokusetsu!
Hotels that need to share bathroom facilities, but very clean and tidy facilities are also very good. The restaurant on the first floor is very good, you can eat delicious local ingredients without booking.
The price is right, cheap locally, including breakfast, simple and delicious.
The location is first class, two minutes out is the ski ticket office and bus stop.
There is almost no service and no pick-up and drop-off. If you arrive at Baima after 4 pm, please go to Nanxiao Valley by bus or take a taxi in happyo. Otherwise, you cannot arrive.
Perfect location, 2 mins walk to Tsugaike gondola; clean and nice facilities; free and nice breakfast; foreign staff speaking English; nice staff but no service at all, please help yourself; no pick up service, suggest to drop off at happy bus terminal for taxi.
Ryokan plaisant mais absence de bain chaud ce soir là, uniquement douche. Confortable et bon rapport qualité prix malgré l’éloignement de sakudaira et du nakasendo
We stayed in a nine-person room on the first day, but we were three people, and we supplemented the room rate for one person. Since there were more beds, it was a bit crowded, and the sanitary conditions were no problem. We changed to a triple room on the second day, and it was still okay. . It's not as good as a star hotel in terms of sky, but it's still ok for people who like sports. There are table tennis and billiards, and you can also play games. It’s good to experience it.

GGuest UserOne of the most memorable highlights in my trip. Amazing stay and the vibe of the hostel is fabulous. Close to the train and bus stations. Few mins walk to the castle. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Please visit the Couch Potatoes hostel if you are staying in Matsumoto! :)))

SSeamusDSuper friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Didn’t need to work out where to eat etc as they have it all there. Thank you Kura! :)
宮宮田雪嵐The hostess of this store is very young and beautiful, with a smile! The temperament is very good 👌👍! I visited this ”Hot Spring Street” and it was indeed the price of this ”Ape” Youth Hostel! Attach the photo taken. One person is less than NT$1,000 a night! This hot spring hotel is really cheap!
