SsamanthalummmmI just spent 4 nights at Bedbox Hostel in Athens, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is super convenient, the beds are comfy and clean, and the common areas have a really friendly vibe. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready with great local tips. It's excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it for backpackers and budget travelers.

AAndreea S.I think this is an amazing hostel especially for the price. All the amenities are new, and the room and bathroom is very clean. The beds are comfy and bottom bunks have drawers under, plus you each have a very big locker with a shelf. You get a key for your locker so no need for a lock. The shower has great water pressure and there’s all in one shampoo/shower gel available and a big towel. The AC is perfect, and you can change settings on the little electronic panel in your room.
The kitchen is well stocked with all the cutlery, pans and dishes you might need and with microwaves, kettle, toaster, two stoves and three fridges. There’s plenty of space to sit to have your food downstairs!
Reception were also super nice and helped me with info on what I wanted to see/do and lent me a cable for my kindle. Thanks guys :)
By the way, the neighbourhood is not as bad as YouTube videos made it. I’ve walked as a solo female traveler at 12am a few times through it, and it was alright and there were other women walking late at night by themselved. Just don’t be downright careless and walk with purpose. The hostel is really not far from the main road and those are perfectly fine - it’s only the area near the metro I found a bit sus which is why I generally just took the bus or metro from another station.

GGuest UserIt's missing energy plugs near the bed for charging phone. The room was clean but the shower was too small, no handles, nothing to dry the feet after shower so the room got always wet and with a weird smell.
The bed they put me was upper, in front of the air conditioning, i was freezing during the night, couldn't sleep properly.
The staff is great.

GGuest UserI had an excellent stay at this hotel — it truly impressed me! The management was very kind and welcoming, and the housekeeper was extremely professional. The location is great, just a short walk to the metro, and the services provided were excellent. My room was spacious and beautifully furnished. I had booked a room with a balcony, and it was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended!

MMarina LisboaThe location is good, you can do everything on foot, the people are friendly, I just think that for a shared room the hairdryer could be in the bathroom or elsewhere, as I couldn't dry my hair because there were people sleeping.

SSK207I had a wonderful stay at YellowSquare Athens! The hostel is modern, clean, and in a great location—just a short walk from Monastiraki, the Acropolis, and many restaurants and shops.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the atmosphere made it easy to meet travelers from all over the world.
Even though I stayed for only one night before my flight, I really enjoyed my experience. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Athens.

GGuest UserThe location is less than 10 minutes walk from Omonia Station. The room was clean and the hair dryer was lent. The staff is also good.
However, mosquitoes were physically strong in the room and when they came, they were stabbed in many places. No matter how many kills, they will be stabbed the next day. You should spray mosquitoes on your cleaning trip. Do you know that mosquitoes kill the first person? The staff should deal with mosquitoes right now.

I stayed in both the dormitory and the single room and it was great.
The single rooms fill up quickly so it's best to book early!
There's also a cafe in the hotel so you can relax and unwind!
The staff are all the best!

Kkai_kamiI thought it was great that they provided a free breakfast. It was a buffet style with three kinds of bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, and plenty of drinks, including milk, juice, and water.

GGuest UserThe boss is a young man, very talkative. I was very tired after a night flight. The check-in time was originally scheduled for the afternoon, but I arrived early in the morning. I contacted Ctrip, and the customer helped me contact the boss, who quickly cleaned the room for me to check in and rest. Thank you very much! This kind of timely help is really needed when you are abroad!
