The is called a Youth Hostel, though if you are a more mature person looking for a cheap ensuite room to stay in , then this is the place for you. If you have booked a private room you will not be experiencing any type of hostel vibe if you do not wish and will not be disturbed by groups of backpackers. Apart from check in, you will get the elevator straight to your floor view it just as a cheap hotel.
If you are a backpacker looking for a cheap and convenient place to stay , then this is for you. If you are the type of backpacker who is looking for the upbeat, energetic vibe, this is not one of those places…though there are posters up related to pub crawls, activities and tours.
There is a small common area in the receptions area with a small kitchen corner, some books and games.
Several reviews have commented on small beds: ordinary people live in very cramped conditions in HK and furniture sizes reflect this so beds are unlikely to be comfortable for tall people as budget accommodation is unlikely to pay extra to purchase atypical bed sizes.
Hong Kong is always ranked within the top 2 of the cities with high cost of living. This is a very good bargain for Hong Kong. I stayed in a private ensuite room and in the past I have paid more for less, both in HK and elsewhere. I am going to San Franscisco soon and am paying the same price for less nights and a shared bathroom.

The staff is very sweet and welcoming. The location is also very close to the station. The capsule is just perfect it has dim lights, charging ports, do not disturb signs and it’s super clean. The bathrooms have hair dryers, give you health kit. It’s just perfect. However, to store the luggage you need to what’s app them and pay 55 HKD via the link they sent.

economically great for family travellers, good location as it is accessible to night market, MTR and surrounded with malls and restaurants but inside hostel is quiet and can rest peacefully. the only comment i had is some guests still insist to smoke even there are restrictions.

I was on a long layover in Hong Kong and I ended up booking a room last minute in Mong Kok, so that I could spend a couple of hours strolling around Kowloon and enjoying some local food. I thought this capsule hotel would be easy to find as it's on Nathan Rd, however it took quite long for me to find the actual building, correct entrance and lift (no clear signs downstairs). The worst part though was finding out there's an online self check-in before entering the hotel. It was taking me so much time to connect, call and figure out how to do it as there's no staff in the hotel (only someone who can be reached by phone). The second part of the check-in was even more confusing for someone arriving tired after a long flight. Luckily enough there was a Thai guest who was kind enough to help me out. I'm not sure if I could have sorted it out if he wasn't there. I believe there should always be a staff member available for convenience and safety. The capsule itself was clean and comfortable. If I remember correctly, male and female bathrooms were not divided.

Oh my gosh, I had the BEST time at this hostel! Seriously, it was an absolute dream. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was part of the family. The staff? They were an absolute game - changer! Whenever I was scratching my head, stuck on something, or just feeling a bit lost, they'd swoop in like superheroes.
They were always there with a huge smile, ready to offer a helping hand, whether it was giving me tips on the best local spots to eat, helping me figure out the bus routes, or just chatting and making me feel at home. I can't even begin to tell you how much their kindness and willingness to help made my stay so special. If you're looking for a place that feels like a warm hug, this is it!

Your revised review looks great! It’s clear, detailed, and captures the positive aspects of your stay. Here’s a slightly tweaked version to make it flow even more smoothly:
We booked a long-term stay at K&B Hostel for two people, with a room featuring two twin beds, and we were very pleased with our experience. The room was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay, which was a big plus. Despite the compact space, it was comfortable and met all our basic needs.
A standout feature of our stay was the hospitality of Becky, the hostel owner. She was incredibly friendly and always quick to respond to any questions or requests, which made our stay that much more enjoyable.
The only minor downside was the exhaust fan in the bathroom—it’s a bit noisy, but it wasn’t a huge issue for us. It was manageable and didn’t affect our overall comfort.
Given the affordable price and the welcoming atmosphere, we were very satisfied with our stay. If you’re looking for a clean, budget-friendly place with a friendly host, K&B Hostel is an excellent option in Hong Kong. I’d definitely recommend it to friends and families.
This version keeps all your original points but tightens up some phrasing. Let me know if you want any more tweaks!

we are a group of 3 friends.
Pros:
- the beds were comfy and the pillows are good, they didnt give us stiff necks.
- the location was perfect too! it is literally a few steps away from TST train station exit D2.
- strong and reliable wifi connection
- the inside of the room was clean but the building/the hallway going to the room, not so much.
- the AC was cold and the comforter kept us warm
- the service was really good! someone went to the room to deliver the towels and the bath and shower gel just after i sent a request via WhatsApp.
Cons:
- the surrounding area is kinda ghetto.
- the bathroom it was too cramped - one step, you're in the half-sized bath tub, one step and youre on the toilet seat. also, the sink cannot fit 2 hands. haha
- i hope they change the wallpapers because they're already disintegrating.
-i hope they can also clean the duvet because if you check the linens, they are clean on the outside but you can see stains on the inside (duvet) as you ”raise” the comforter as you get on the bed.

I feel extremely lucky to have found this little gem in Hong Kong. The dorms are extremely well laid out, with plenty of space for the suitcase and personal belongings. The bedrooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean, the common areas are cosy, there's everything you need in terms of kitchen utensils, the water pressure in the showers is amazing, the rooftop is a really place to hang out in the evenings, and most of all, the host Patricia makes you feel at home. I got there solo, and after a few nights I'm leaving with a bunch of friends. This place certainly has a magical power 😊

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the price/performance ratio is high. It was a very satisfying stay. There is a popular tea shop downstairs, and it takes 15 minutes to walk to Victoria Harbour.

MMewiiiAs a frequent traveler to Hong Kong, I’d say this hostel is my top favorite as of the moment and we’re already planning to book again for our next year travel back to HK. Location-wise, it’s the best. Walking distance to the harbour, nearby malls like Silvercord, K11 Art Mall, Mira Mall, and Harbour City, surrounded by restaurants and fast food chains, a grocery in front, and two MTR exits (A1 with lift and escalators going up and down, and A2 with escalator going up and stairs). It is also few blocks away from Bakehouse (😆). In terms of room size for 3 pax, it’s livable and pretty spacious as compared to our room on the 9th floor last year 🤭 from the same building. We have 5 luggages - 2 carry ons and three medium check-in luggages, and yet there’s still space for the mini table and chair and we still have space to move inside the room. I love their big glass windows which give us the best view of Nathan Road. They also offer water refilling dispenser which is a big saver because bottled waters in HK are pretty expensive! Stayed here for 6 nights and got new towels everyday after the room has been cleaned, and bottled water replenishes. Rooms are clean and looks the same as advertised in the pictures. Only cons I would say is that the shower area doesn’t have a door or divider so water splashes everywhere and floor gets flooded, but still tolerable. I would also like to suggest having a microwave for food reheating. 😁 aside from that, everything you need is here. In terms of room rates, price is okay and expected for HK standard; still cheaper than booking a hotel room from known hotels in this location which would also require security deposit. As for this hostel, no need for security deposit. Thanks to Trip.com and was able to get an early bird rate for this room. For security concerns, the building has security personnels when you enter, CCTVs are working in elevators and specific areas, hostel floor is secured with passcode which can only be opened with guest keycards. Room security doors are also up-to-date or modern. I love it!! Kudos also to Filipina housekeepers for being so approachable, helpful and kind to us during our stay. While the boss is very hands on in reaching out in WeChat for any concerns and also provided guide around the area and tourist attractions. SUPER RECOMMENDED!!! Loved and enjoyed our stay. We already miss the view. See you again next year! 🩷

GGuest UserI want to try and be balanced. I hate to give this place too much hate. I feel like they’re doing the best they can with the cards they’ve been dealt and the price reflects that. This being my first time to Hong Kong, I was not aware of what to expect price wise.
That said, I want people to who read this to have more reasonable expectations than what the 4-5 star ratings want you to have.
Location. I suppose it’s in a good location of the city but it’s in an apartment above a market like setup. As i walked into the building i was immediately pounced upon by individual after individual who seemed to be trying to rent me their own rooms. I had to just ignore them and keep walking. I don’t like being rude, but I’ve found this is the easiest way to escape. I never feel safe in situations like this especially late at night.
The room was small and generally clean. I’ve left hotels in the past that were just horrid, this isn’t one of those. The mattress was comfortable but the bed was short. I feel the pillows and blankets were “clean “. But they were clean to the standards that I wash my own bedding. They were very white, but with some obvious stains that haven’t quite washed out, and one pillow appeared to have something like a blood stain visible through the pillow case. You will want to bring some sort of sleeping bag or liner. I was happy i had one.
The bathroom had no toiletries. No soap, shampoo, bidet/paper. The toilet bowl was black inside and immediately began to smell of sewer gas as i was urinating. It leaked when i flushed it. Gave me quite a start. The stench stayed around for 10-20 minutes or so. After that i didn’t want to do anything else in the bathroom. I used a bottle of water to brush my teeth.
I don’t know. If you’re looking at the outside of the building during the day, it’s what you’d expect. If you’re familiar with the cost of living in Hong Kong, it’s probably also what you’d expect at this price. If you just want a relatively clean place to sleep, and don’t want to spend a lot for hotels that reviewers say have the same issues, this will work. Just make sure you have your sleeping bag liner.
For this price, I’d probably stay there again if they fixed the plumbing.

JJoe ChanThe hostel provided all necessities in a very reasonable way that what should we expected. Excellent mountain top harbour view. Worth on spending time to stay here as a base for few days short hikes to enjoy the views around HK Island.
GGuest UserIt's OK. The room is clean and tidy. It has everything you need. You can also do laundry. It's very user-friendly and the owner is very nice. The location of this hotel is very good. Victoria Avenue of Stars is nearby and shopping is also convenient.

AAxis6aThe location is perfect for those who wants to explore the shopping areas of TST. The room is small but considerably clean. My only comment is that you can hear the noise from outside your room. Privacy is very important for me when we are traveling. Nevertheless, our 1 night stay was pleasant. I would not recommend this place for travelers who stays for more than a night, you can find hotels with relatively low prices.

LLukasWe booked one night at this hostel online and be aware. It's SUPER hard to find. We spend like almost an hour searching and asking people about this address before we were able to find it due to misleading geo locations on Google Maps and apple Maps. So I try to help you not experiencing the same. You need to go inside the Chungking mansion and look for elevator D, only this elevator will bring you up to the right block. Therefore you might need to wait in a Queue because there are way to many people inside this building and you need to take the correct elevator. One is made for the even numbers and one for the uneven. You need to take the even one to go to the 10th floor and search/ask for manila Hostel because it's super confusing and only barely signed out. The room itself was quite fine. Expect nothing special from such a budget option. We would visit again.

SSociete CGCThe staff were nice and welcoming.
The hostel is inside of a typical Hongkong residential building, high and thin, like in the movies.
Well located: next to subway station, bus, Cantoneses restaurants and very close to the bay.
I’d been afraid of about the property and the security. The security camera was everywhere. No problem with luggage.
We shared the shower rooms and WC with others.
All was tiny, but it was an amazing experience.
The itinerary is well documented by short movie.
One more point about the ecology: they don’t have disposable toothbrush.
