The room had a wonderfully relaxing, modern minimalist style, spotlessly clean, with everything neatly arranged. The absolute highlight was the huge panoramic bay window. I immediately settled into the soft cushions, watching the vibrant cityscapes or peaceful street scenes unfold like a moving painting – I could have happily spent the entire afternoon there. The hotel's 'heartwarming touches' were perfectly executed: the high-quality, freshly ground coffee machine in the lobby bar was available 24/7, offering unlimited refills of aromatic coffee – an absolute paradise for caffeine lovers like me. And the complimentary black tea afternoon tea instantly washed away all travel fatigue.

We took the kids to see the snow. Going during the off-season meant fewer crowds and lower prices. I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews, but they were all quite good. By budget hotel standards, it was adequate. There weren't many restaurants nearby, and dining at hotels in tourist areas isn't cheap, but the quality was good. It was snowing outside, and we enjoyed chicken soup hot pot in the hotel restaurant – so pleasant! Breakfast wasn't a buffet; the kitchen portioned it out per person, but it was enough to fill us up. Luckily, it snowed early the next morning!

The hotel is clean and in a good location, by the Dadu River in the city. It is convenient to find food and the service is good. The hotel facilities are relatively old and the lighting is not bright. Especially the sensor light in the bathroom. If the shower light stops a few times, I guess Ding Ding will be very unhappy. The TV remote control can't turn off the TV, I can only get up and turn off the power. I always feel like it’s not worth it.
