Guo Yun Shan Ju · Villa Designer Resort (Sanqing Mountain Scenic Area Branch) is truly a brilliant treasure born from the collision of nature and aesthetics, standing out as a leader in vacation accommodations—a secluded haven where the soul finds solace and rest. Here, the majestic grandeur of Sanqing Mountain merges with the ethereal flow of sea of clouds, and the view-oriented rooms are especially captivating: the bed faces the valley from afar. In the early morning, mist creeps into the room like a nimble spirit, and the delightful scene of mountain breeze carrying the fragrance of plants and trees across the windowsill is truly enchanting. Such a gift from nature is unforgettable for a lifetime. It feels like a precious gem gently held aloft by the sea of clouds; the guest rooms are subtly integrated into the mist-shrouded surroundings, and with every step, one can feel an intimate dialogue with nature, as if stepping into a paradise forgotten by time.
"The location of the B&B is slightly remote and suitable for self-driving. There is a pick-up and drop-off service for the Jinsha Ropeway. It only takes 5-6 minutes to drive to the ropeway entrance, which is very convenient. The room is clean and tidy, and the decoration is relatively new, but there are still some flaws in the design. For example, there is no place to put the suitcase, so it can only be placed on the floor. The shower room has no door, and the bath water splashes on the ground and the toilet next to it. The boss is enthusiastic and helps with luggage and transportation to and from the Jinsha Cableway. We had dinner at the B&B for both days, and the boss lady’s cooking was delicious. Breakfast needs to be purchased separately, it costs 15 yuan a serving, and you can choose between noodles or steamed buns with porridge, both are delicious."

The hotel is about 5 kilometers from the scenic area, and the owner offers a shuttle service to and from the area. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the restaurant recommended by the owner is excellent. Breakfast was also eaten at the restaurant recommended by the owner. For this price, including breakfast and free shuttle service, it's definitely worth it, and I would choose this hotel again next time.
Hotel conveniently situated close to cable car station . Ample Chinese style breakfast although restaurant staff seemed unable interested.
Large room and bathroom which however STANK of urine! Cleaning was perfunctory and bathroom had mold stains besides the terrible smell of urine even in the shower stall!
Restaurant had large prominently displayed pictures of dishes but no one seemed interested to serve when we tried to get in such that for the 2 nights we were there, it was completely empty of customers!
For the above reasons hotel does not deserve more than 2 stars!
Compared to other guesthouses in the area, the hotel's exterior is grand and imposing, and its location is relatively close to the Jinsha Cableway station at Sanqingshan. However, only the exterior is worth praising; the interior is incredibly old and outdated. The rooms, dimly lit, exude a damp and worn-out atmosphere, and the receptionist seemed to be carrying the grievances of a working person during the National Day holiday…
Highly recommended! The hotel is right at the entrance of the scenic area's cable car station. During the National Day holiday, traffic was restricted, but with the hotel reservation, cars could pass through directly to the hotel. The hotel elevator on the 5th floor goes directly to the cable car station, saving you the hassle of transferring. Although it's an older four-star hotel and a bit dated, it's very clean, and the old-fashioned wooden floors are gleaming. After a tiring day down the mountain, we went straight to the hotel for dinner. The Jiangxi-style stir-fry was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were also very friendly. Especially considering it's within the scenic area during the National Day holiday, it offers exceptional value for money!
For our two-day trip to Mount Sanqing, we chose Walker Mountain Villa. Their butler service was incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel's atmosphere was excellent, and breakfast was generous.
**Cleanliness**: The room was spotless and tidy. They thoughtfully provided disposable bathtub liners and toilet seat covers, making it wonderfully comfortable to take a relaxing bath after a long day of exploring.
