"I carelessly booked this hotel by mistake, thinking I had reserved the Emperor Hotel. I went to the Emperor Hotel's front desk to check in, only to be told I had the wrong place and it was the hotel next door. The check-in attendant mentioned that both hotels share the same owner. The swimming pool is located on the sixth floor of the Emperor Hotel, and you need to use your room key card to enter. The room's cleanliness was just okay. The carpet was thick but a bit dirty. Service: The service was excellent. A day before check-in, the hotel customer service called to ask what time I'd be arriving and if I had any special requests. Throughout my stay, they proactively asked daily if I needed water or anything else. I truly found this aspect to be very good. Breakfast felt very ordinary with limited choices. The bread seemed to be mass-produced. The freshly made Kway Teow noodles for breakfast, which you could customize with your own toppings, were decent. Other than that, there wasn't much else to eat. The milk tasted a bit like it was made from powder, though I'm not entirely sure."

We only booked two rooms at first, wanting to see if Shantou is fun. Later, we extended the room for one day. Our room was already booked, so we had to change rooms. We went to several rooms, but still thought the first one was the best. The hotel staff was really great. When they cleaned the room for us, They also helped us fold our clothes and put our cosmetics in the cosmetic bag. It was really considerate. This hotel is the happiest and best experience I have ever stayed in. The only thing I think is not good is that the hair dryer is too weak. But overall it feels great and gives people a relaxing feeling."

"The location is next to the Paifang street which is the main tourist spot. You can find many restaurants for food, gifts , snacks and dessert. The hotel give out discount voucher at a beef pot restaurant and the restaurant give us free box of tea. The staffs are friendly."
