This hotel has an exceptionally pretty frontage and an excellent location in the heart of Rothenburg, itself a very pretty town. But beware. I turned up and my room was not in the hotel, but in a building 3 minutes walk away WITHOUT AIR-CONDITIONING! In temperatures of low 30's and high humidity, not funny. I was exceptionally lucky and eventually!! was able to move in, pay €20 and get aircon. For a 4 star hotel, this is not acceptable. Some staff were very stern faced, but others bubbly. Evening meal quality was good, though pricey. So be careful. The opticians, by the way, opposite the bank 1 minute walk from the hotel towards the square we're so kind and wonderful by helping one of our friends fix the arm of broken spectacles. Thank you.

I recently stayed at Hotel Reichs-Küchenmeister and found it to be a decent choice overall. The location is excellent, as it’s close to several tourist attractions and a supermarket, making it convenient for sightseeing and grabbing essentials. However, the lack of air conditioning was a drawback, especially during warmer days. The room was a bit warm, and no fan provided. Despite this, the friendly staff and convenient location make Hotel Reichs-Küchenmeister a reasonable option, especially during cooler months.

Excellent location, right in the center of the town. You can drive to the front door, somebody will take you to the parking lot. Breakfast is included. Spa is included, kind of small, you have to call front desk to reserve the time for towels . Services are good. Room is clean. eBay chip coins Canadian dollar

The location is in the center of Rothenburg. It is very convenient to go to the Christmas market in the Town Hall Square or other places. There are also paid private parking spaces, which is very practical for self-driving travelers~ If you want to park in the parking space provided by the hotel, you must first drive to the parking lot near the hotel to check in. Then their staff will inform you of the location and will also drive a golf cart to the parking lot to pick you up.

We just LOVED this hotel. It has all the charms of Bavaria. Housed in an ancient building in a 700 year- old-town, the hotel is authentically German, with German food and atmosphere. The hotel is clean and has modern amenities while maintaining its historic charm. It is clean and centrally located. The staff is warm and professional. Parking is available also. Wonderful experience.

Very good little hotel in the centre of a magical mediaeval world heritage site. Rooms are traditional, if a touch dated, staff are super efficient and friendly, prices are reasonable and the restaurant excellent, within the limitations of German ‘cuisine’. Breakfasts are particularly good. Minor complaints about the WiFi only working in the bedrooms, and not the public areas, but overall a very decent spot. Parking is a short walk away.

Lovely hotel! Great location, immaculately clean rooms, friendly staff, and a wonderful breakfast! We are a family of five and had two rooms on the third floor. It was quite hot when we were there, it’s only five euros to pay for air for the room, and we did this. Our rooms cooled down very quickly. It was really nice to have the option for air! Parking is just a couple of blocks away from the hotel and super convenient. They were happy to help us unload our luggage and bring it to the room. Loved overlooking the beautiful surroundings from our hotel rooms! Coffee and tea are available in the room.

Excellent position and location. Lovely and clean room, new bathroom. They do not give first water bottle for free as we found in other hotels of the same area, but there is a nice kettler for hot water with tea and coffee bags. We could not try the restaurant because of the scheduled time for hotel guests.

We enjoyed our stay in Rothenburg. The hotel was excellent in many ways, just a shame some things were little extras like the garage parking and paying for things in your room especially the air conditioning. The breakfast was good and the vending meal excellent. The location is fabulous just off the main square.

The hotel is in the middle of the old town of Rottenberg, inside the city walls. Very nice rooms plus a good restaurant/beer garden.

Absolutely stunning hotel in the perfect location in Rothenburg. Just far enough from the hustle and bustle of tourists with a staff that was excellent and very accommodating. The restaurant on location was a must for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our room was on the top floor of their second, newly remodeled building, and was fantastic. Shout out to the valets who took us by golf cart to and fro to our room and to the garage for our car. Check in was a breeze with plenty of smiling faces. Location is walkable to everywhere you need to go. This is the perfect hotel in Rothenburg.
