Kohinur Plaza ★★★★
"Stayed here for 3 nights, the reception is really helpful and friendly. The room was huge, beds are comfy & breakfast spread was nice. There’s a small incident where when I checked in I asked the reception how do I use the laundry service, and he gave me wrong information which ended up they didn’t do my laundry and I was out of clean clothes. I called the reception at 7pm (the laundry is closed) and they quickly send someone to collect the laundry from me & send it back to me, cleaned the next morning at 8am. But actually the laundry service is only available 10am-6pm. Glad that they took a swift action on this matter!"
AL MARYAM HoteL ★★★
"The administrator was very warm and attentive, always asking about our needs. There were a couple of minor incidents, like a leaking air conditioner, but they immediately offered us a room change. Since we were checking out early, they kindly prepared a breakfast box for us to take away. The service was excellent. Separately, we must highlight how incredibly clean the room was – we even looked for stains but couldn't find any. The linens were perfectly clean and had a pleasant scent. The location is convenient, allowing us to walk to historical sites. The hotel itself is new and well-maintained. On the downside, the lighting in the room was quite dim, making it difficult to read in the evening."
AD Bellagio
"The hotel was beautiful, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Amenities included bottled water, instant coffee and tea, a kettle, and a mini-refrigerator. There was no safety deposit box. The bathroom had a bathtub, which was great for unwinding after a long day. For breakfast, they even had salmon and other fish, which is unusual for Uzbekistan! The breakfast area was spacious and had a relaxing atmosphere. Check-out is at 10:00 AM."
Hilton Samarkand Regency ★★★★★
"The scenery is beautiful and it's very quiet. The location is a bit far out, so it's more convenient if you have a car. Without a car, getting to the city isn't very easy. It's suitable for a relaxing holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city."
Sangzor Boutique Hotel ★★
"The hotel was in a prime location, close to all the major attractions. Breakfast was nice, with a good variety of delicious options to choose from. The staff at the Sangzor were fantastic. Great attitude. Helpful and always available. The bed was super comfy. I will always stay at this location when traveling to Samarkand."
Altair Boutique ★★★
"Excellent location and can easily walk to the major attractions. Hotel very tastefully decorated and clean. Good breakfast. Looks like a family run hotel and friendly staff. Definitely recommend 👌"
Mövenpick Samarkand ★★★★★
"Beautiful lobby area, great location, lovely selection at breakfast, little disappointed with the actual room, it didn’t reflect the exterior or public areas, but it was manageable. Over satisfied with our two nights stay."
Gur Emir Palace ★★★
"The staff were incredibly friendly, making my stay very pleasant. The breakfast had a great variety of options, which was a plus. Having a mini-market right in front of the hotel was super convenient for quick purchases. It's also close to all the main tourist spots, which is handy. Even though it's on a narrow street, taxis can still get through, so that wasn't an issue. The only minor point was that the shower water pressure was sometimes low, and at other times it was too hot, but it was still usable, so I have no real complaints."
Savitsky Plaza ★★★★
"The room was nice, with a small balcony where you could vaguely see the music and light show at night."

Rayyan Hotel Samarkand
"Excellent hotel right next to Samarkand's train station. (A maximum 5-minute walk, which was super convenient for us.) The room was clean and had everything we needed: a kettle, fridge, mugs, tea, and coffee. The bathroom was stocked with soap, shampoo, gel, and toothbrushes. There’s an outdoor pool with sun loungers, and the grounds are well-maintained (clean, mowed lawn, planted flowers). However, the pool water is very cold! Breakfasts were tasty; although a bit repetitive, you could easily mix and match different options. I was especially delighted by the local strawberries and the coffee from the machine at breakfast. 🥰 There's a beautiful restaurant on the top floor, but be aware that on weekends, there's loud music from evening until 11 PM. After 11 PM, it gets noticeably quieter and doesn't disturb sleep."
Zarafshon Parkside
"Second time at this hotel, loved it, will come again."
The Afrosiyob Hotel
"This was the most satisfying hotel of my entire trip. I initially thought it was only close to Chaisinda, but it turned out to be surprisingly close to all the main attractions! Chaisinda is right across the street, and to the right of the hotel are the bazaar, Bibihaneum, and Hazrat. Other attractions are also within walking distance along this road. (The taxi took me to the back of the hotel, which made me think it was remote, but once you figure out the route, you realize its location is excellent!) The hotel was exquisitely decorated; even the window lights and curtain hooks had little surprises. The owner has great taste. Check-in was originally scheduled for 2 PM, but the owner let me check in early—very kind! Their breakfast was plentiful, with delicious local pastries and good fruit. The staff were very welcoming, but cleaning might not be done daily; if you're staying consecutively, you should communicate with them. The biggest surprise was their third-floor terrace—the view was absolutely stunning!"
AMETIST HOTEL COMPLEX
"A wonderful place, everything is new, clean, and beautiful. We didn't get around to the pool. There are some good cafes and grocery stores nearby, and a liquor store is 1 km away."
Konigil Hotel
Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand
"The environment is great, and all the staff speak English, so communication was very smooth. The price is reasonable! The room was quiet, and the water pressure was good. I would definitely consider this hotel again if I come back to the area. It's a reliable and reassuring choice."
Continental Hotel Samarkand
"It's said to be the third-best hotel in Samarkand, with very unique decor, convenient transportation, and plenty of good restaurants nearby. The breakfast is also delicious, and the service and room facilities are excellent."
Siab Boutique Hotel
"The position of hotel is just great. It's very near tourist attraction enough to walk there. And everything is all right enough to recommend. The breakfast is good with diverse food more than the expectation. In taking a shower, the water pressure is so strong that the guest can easily wash and remove the tiredness from walking around the city. Reasonable price, but satisfaction with the kind staffs."
Classic hotel Samarkand
"Very nice new hotel, very friendly and helpful staff"
Shohjahon Palace Hotel & Spa
"Shahjahon Hotel is located in a very unassuming neighborhood, tucked among local houses and small shops. But once you step through its gates, you’re welcomed by a magnificent, quintessentially Uzbek façade, charming! Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy after a long day of exploring. We were treated to a typical Uzbek breakfast, generous and nourishing. The hotel is just a short walk from Registan Square and the main historical attractions, making it very convenient. A lovely and comfortable base for exploring Samarkand."
Shahram Plus
"Extremely friendly and helpful staff who resolve any issues very quickly. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There was hot water in the shower. The hotel's location is excellent, close to all the attractions."
The Moonya Hotel
"Although taxis can't pull right up to the hotel entrance, they can get very close, so it's not inconvenient at all. It's about a 5-minute walk to Registan Square, making it a very convenient hotel for sightseeing. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including some delicious vegetable options like eggplant and cauliflower that I hadn't seen elsewhere."
Muhayyo guest house
"The room is very new and big , location is convenient to all the attractions."
Medina Hotel Samarkand
"I liked the hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and spacious. The location was excellent. Many attractions were within walking distance. The breakfasts were truly excellent, with a wide selection of delicious dishes."
MUSAVVIR
"The hotel itself was great, both the room and the hospitality. However, the road in front of the hotel was undergoing massive construction, making it impassable for cars. We had to walk along an unpaved path, which was quite inconvenient."
