Classic hotel Samarkand ★★
"A very good experience"
Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand ★★★★
"Had a fantastic stay! The bedding was excellent, which really helped me get a great night's sleep, even though I usually struggle with that. A big thank you to Timuer at the front desk for his service. I'll definitely be back!"
Mövenpick Samarkand ★★★★★
"The hotel is located in a great place. It’s in walkable distance to a lot of attractions, the receptionist lady was super helpful. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were spot on."
SHOHIZINDA HOTEL
"An excellent, modern, and most importantly new hotel with a convenient location. The rooms are small, but have everything you need. Breakfast is included. The staff is very friendly, ready to help and resolve any issues. Thank you for your hospitality."
Wellness Park Hotel Bactria ★★★
"Our favorite hotel in all of Uzbekistan! The entire staff is the perfect blend of professionalism and hospitality. We really didn't want to leave! The food is outstanding! The breakfast buffet is perfect; you won't leave hungry, in fact, you'll probably gain a few pounds. 😄 The chef personally comes out to oversee the food, recommends what to try, and tells you about the dishes. The waitstaff (I can't even bring myself to call them that) seem genuinely happy to see you. There's pure delight at every turn! We initially stayed in a standard room, then moved to a suite. Only our pre-booked onward tickets forced us to check out. 😄 The suite has everything from bath salts to a coffee machine. There's a separate bathtub and shower, and a cozy living room. Overall, I highly recommend it."
Siab Boutique Hotel ★★★
"Excellent, cozy, and clean hotel! The breakfasts are delicious! Friendly owners and welcoming staff, always ready to help! Highly recommended!"
Zarafshon Parkside ★★★★★
"The breakfasts are simply amazing! It's not often you get red caviar, lightly salted salmon, and various hot dishes (not just your typical scrambled or fried eggs), quality cheeses, and delicious fruits for breakfast!!! The service is top-notch, and the staff are very responsive... they always address all requests and don't nitpick over small things. Prices for additional services (like laundry and ironing) are quite reasonable. The rooms are spotless, and the bed linen is changed daily and practically crinkles with cleanliness... there's a choice of several types of pillows for each guest: orthopedic, anti-allergenic, and goose down. The location is also good, just a 15-minute walk to the city center. All in all, I highly recommend it!!! Wish there were more hotels and services like this!!!"
Mustafa Hotel
"I stayed at the Mustafa Hotel in Samarkand. It just opened this year—everything is brand new, fresh, and works perfectly. I loved everything. What I'd like to highlight: 1. The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern. The interior is thoughtfully designed down to the last detail—stylish and tasteful, you can tell they put a lot of thought into it. It's a pleasure to be in the lobby, rooms, and common areas. It's not just "canteen-style" cleanliness, but truly beautiful design. 2. The pool is excellent. A big plus for Samarkand—after a long day of walking in the heat, it's so nice to take a dip. The pool is clean, well-maintained, with a comfortable seating area around it. 3. Everything is new. Since the hotel opened this year, there's no worn-out furniture, no scuffed surfaces, no limescale-covered plumbing. Everything works like clockwork. This is a huge plus that outweighs many other points. 4. The hotel is modern yet cozy. Not a huge, faceless "concrete box," but a neat, well-thought-out option for a comfortable stay. Overall, if you want to stay in a truly new, beautiful hotel with a great pool and stylish interior, Mustafa Hotel is an excellent choice. I was very pleased."
MUSAVVIR ★★
"A good guesthouse. The owner was friendly and welcoming; I arrived at night, and he met me and helped with my luggage. At the time of my stay, there was construction near the guesthouse and all the roads were being repaired, which was the only inconvenience. However, it didn't stop me from walking to Registan in about 10 minutes. Thanks for the hospitality!"

ZAAL Hotel
"Pros: - Cozy courtyard and the building itself are attractive. Cons: - They didn't change the bed linens every time, didn't bring extra towels, toothbrushes, and gels. Overall, the cleanliness was really lacking; it was obvious they were just pretending to look clean. - The power went out regularly, including the air conditioning and internet. - The bathroom was very small, literally impossible to move around in. Price-wise, it's acceptable, but if you're looking for service and cleanliness, this isn't the option."
Shahdil Hotel and Spa
"The hotel is well located and we had a pleasant stay."
Silk Road by Minyoun Samarkand Hotel
"I always choose them one of the best in area"
Golden Samarkand Hotel
"For a 4-star hotel, everything is perfect: the staff, the facilities."
Konigil Hotel
Shohjahon Palace Hotel & Spa
"I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. All my expectations were fully met. The staff were polite and attentive; you feel their welcoming attitude towards guests from the very first moment. The room was clean and cozy, with everything you need. I especially want to highlight the very convenient location of the hotel, making it easy to get to the city's main attractions. A big plus is the sauna and swimming pool. After walking around the city, it was especially nice to relax in the hotel's spa area in the evening. This added even more comfort to my vacation. Overall, it's a very pleasant and charming hotel. I only have good impressions. I highly recommend it."
Kohinur Plaza
"Stayed here for 3 nights, the reception is really helpful and friendly. The room was huge, beds are comfy & breakfast spread was nice. There’s a small incident where when I checked in I asked the reception how do I use the laundry service, and he gave me wrong information which ended up they didn’t do my laundry and I was out of clean clothes. I called the reception at 7pm (the laundry is closed) and they quickly send someone to collect the laundry from me & send it back to me, cleaned the next morning at 8am. But actually the laundry service is only available 10am-6pm. Glad that they took a swift action on this matter!"
Hilton Samarkand Regency
"I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Regency. Check-in was fast, and the front desk staff were wonderful – they told us everything we needed to know, advised us on the best places to eat and visit, and quickly arranged taxis within the complex. The room service staff were always accommodating, and any requests were met promptly. Room cleaning was very thorough and unobtrusive. We particularly loved the pools in the spa center on the 2nd floor and visited them daily. There's an excellent steakhouse on the 1st floor, and it's within walking distance to the fountains and the Eternal City complex."
Shahram Plus
"The door to the room I was assigned had a "STAFF ONLY" sign on it. It felt like a makeshift staff sleeping room behind the front desk. The toilet seat was left up, and there was no duvet, just a blanket without a sheet. No air conditioning, only a fan. The lock was broken, so I couldn't lock it myself. Since it was behind the front desk, staff were constantly in front of my room, so I had to ask them to lock it every time. The staff themselves were nice, but I don't think this is an acceptable standard for a hotel."
The Moonya Hotel
"Very satisfied, clean, and hygienic. 👏👏👏"
Savitsky Plaza
"Excellent hotel, clean, beautiful. Every little thing for the convenience of guests is thought out: from slippers to hair ties. The staff is attentive and always ready to help. Also downstairs there is a beer restaurant with delicious cocktails and amazing cheese soup, open 24/7. And the cherry on the cake is a magnificent view of the highway from the room!"
Hotel Dali Samarkand
"It's alright. Newly renovated."
Sangzor Boutique Hotel
"Is like staying inside a park. Location was good, within walk distance to bazaar and other attractions. Bath room is new and look newly refurbished. Breakfast spread was also nice. Overall will recommend."
Kosh Havuz boutique hotel
"I arrived in Samarkand on a morning flight, so I reached the hotel around noon. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, allowing me to check in early. After two connecting flights and a sleepless night, I was exhausted, and their thoughtfulness in letting me rest early was truly comforting. The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk to the iconic square within minutes, and there are fantastic restaurants nearby. The room itself has a distinct local character, with carved headboards, windows, and wooden beams. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked with all necessary toiletries. There's also a heated spa on the rooftop – perfect for a romantic evening of stargazing while you relax. What truly stood out was the design and decor of the courtyard; it exudes a rich ethnic and cultural ambiance, with vibrant colors and intricate details, making it very photogenic. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the service staff were attentive and prompt. My first visit to Samarkand was an excellent experience, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip."
AL MARYAM HoteL
"The air conditioning was noisy and only quieted down when it was turned on, so I had to leave it on all night. There was no fridge in the room, and the food spoiled :( The staff was friendly, and the room was nice."
