Service was incredibly disappointing, the amenities were broken (sink leaking, broken AC and safety box, no drinking water until requested several times). Reception shuts at 4PM, thus no staff on site after that— plus isolated location (depends on your personal preference - car was necessarily for us). Very few staff members spoke English (thus hard to communicate) apart from Yannis (manager and son of the host). Unfortunately, our interactions with him was the worst part. When we tried to raise our concerns, he was rude, took no accountability, dismissive — and raised his voice at us. His exact words were: “So what? Don’t tell me how to run my business.” When we mentioned morning breakfast delays, his response was: “With six villas to deal with why do you think we’d need to be exactly on time?” Incredibly rude behaviour - I’m still shocked! Please be aware that the pricing of this hotel is very volatile, changes on the daily. Since checking into the villa, the price has fell by 40% of what we previously paid for (no apparent reason). When we inquired, we were met with a slew of inconsistent and inappropriate excuses — including personal tragedies, Israel/Iran war (??), recent earthquakes — none of which justified the price drop or were communicated in advance. As paying guests, we felt disrespected and belittled. I’ve never been shouted at by hotel staff before — it was shocking and unacceptable. This was by far one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve had at a hotel, and will certainly not be returning.
