Lefkothea Hotel

We visited this hotel last year with a couple of friends. Spend 7 nights and had a great time!! The Hotel is just half a minute walk's away from the Kamari Beach and from countless restaurants and other shops(go in IL Forno for some great pizza) Dimitria and Maria at the reception were very friendly and helpful, arranging us a taxi to the airport for our departure The breakfast was pretty rich for a 2* Hotel, with plenty of options including omelette, yogurt, salad, toast and fresh pancakes!! Our room was cleaned daily, the only issue was the bed which wasn't the most comfortable one but still we had a good night's sleep every day. I recommend this hotel to anyone trying to visit Santorini with a budget, it's definitely great value for money!!

Nice family hotel by the beach Kamari is full of life and the perfect place to stay in Santorini I really enjoyed my time there with my friends Clean with air conditioning Value for money I arrived late at night and they arranged me a transfer with very good price and cheaper than taxi

This place is value for money ! It’s clean and has excellent service! The girls at the reception Maria and Dimitra are more than happy to help you and give you the best advices and tips to get the best experience of the island!!! I totally recommend it!!!

We had a wonderfull stay at Lefkothea Hotel in Kamari beach. The hotel has the perfect location, close to the beach and all the best spots in Kamari to eat and have drinks. There are lots of interesting shops and even a cinema very close to it. The rooms are simple and very well look after. The breakfast was very enjoyable and offered a nice variety. Lastly the wonderful receptionist was able to help us with all our needs for our stay. She recommended very nice spots on the island to visit and gave us very good deals. This hotel is a real gem.

Good bits - comfy bed and excellent air conditioning Bad bits - messy outside rear garden (was facing this) with broken furniture etc. could easily be tidied up. Poor selection at breakfast. Hardly anything was left halfway through service. I had 3 small pancakes and left 1 1/2 as they were very cold (probably been cooked when service started) and hubby only ate 2 boiled eggs. There was about 4 slices of dried up meat and 3 slices of curled up cheese, a fruit salad that nearly contained 25 small chucks of apple in about 1 ltr of juice. Loads of Greek yogurt but nothing to have with it. The bread also looks dry up so didn’t bother cooking it for toast. Ended up going elsewhere for a delicious breakfast. Could not have a decent shower as the shower holder was broken. I reported this the day after we arrived (we checked in at 10pm) and they said they would get someone to look while we were out. Before we went out I had to hold the shower for hubby and he had to do the same for me. When we got back I was told nothing could be done and that was actually the Greek way of showering. This is a pack of lies as there are about 4 different pictures of bathrooms in the hotel and all of them had overhead showers 😡. I must have got the rubbish room (number 15 so run if they give you that key) or the bathroom pictures are from a different hotel. It had a horrible shower curtain too. The bathroom pictures I had seen were all a purpose brick built shower area. The toilet seat was also loose. I did no more than went on AirBnB this morning and booked another place. There was no way that my short weekend break to this beautiful island was going to be spoilt by putting up with such a hotel. We only spent approximately 40 at the hotel and that was more than enough time of my holiday being ruined

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Great value for money. Extremely comfortable for those holidaying on a budget. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was really nice; providing variety and a great wholesome start for the day. The hotel is well located with less than a minutes walk from the black beach which is lined with great bars and restaurants; and less than a minutes walk from the bus stop that is connected to all major parts of the island. Knowing how much money I saved, and what I got for it, I will definitely be holidaying here again! Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable staff at Lefkothea Hotel!
