Before going, I saw many netizens saying that Park Hyatt Sanya was eerie and had a new Chinese style. They even mentioned getting lost trying to find their rooms at night because it was so dark. However, it reminded me a lot of Liangrand in Xitang. It has that kind of understated, sophisticated vibe, definitely old money chic. Although the facilities might look a bit older, the quality is still there. The entire hotel is very quiet, and the light music is so relaxing and comforting, almost like an art gallery. It's cleaned daily and always spotless. The beach is soft and clean, and the glass-like ocean is crystal clear. The vacation atmosphere is incredible, and it's perfect for taking photos.

This was my first time staying at the Park Hyatt in Sanya, and overall, it was a good experience. Comparing it to the Mandarin Oriental, the room hardware at the Park Hyatt is definitely superior. Both hotels offer unique scenic views; the Park Hyatt is located in Sun Bay, where the beach and ocean are probably among the best in Sanya. The sand is fine, and the water quality is quite clear. The only downside was that there were many jellyfish during my stay, so I couldn't enjoy any water activities. The hotel itself has a very distinctive design, and the staff are generally very professional. Their attention to service details and attitudes are excellent, making it clear the hotel aims for a high standard.

Facilities are of exceptional quality. Guest rooms are spacious and minimalist, offering expansive ocean views. The dining is exquisite, with à la carte breakfast items being particularly outstanding. Spa, fitness, and other facilities are comprehensive, providing a rich experience without needing to leave the hotel. In summary, this is an ideal destination for travelers seeking tranquility and attention to detail, truly a benchmark for resort hotels in Hainan.

Park Hyatt Sanya Sunny Bay Resort is an absolutely amazing location! 👍👍👍 The stunning blue ocean views are unparalleled, and the hotel's design is incredibly impressive. The service is excellent, the environment is elegant, and both the Chinese and Western restaurants, along with the seafood hot pot, are absolutely delicious. You don't even need to leave the hotel for a true leisure vacation! This will definitely be my go-to hotel whenever I visit Sanya in the future.

Service: An absolutely fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and meticulous. Every single person I encountered during my stay was warm and enthusiastic, always proactively greeting me and anticipating my needs. (For example, if cutlery accidentally fell during breakfast, a staff member would immediately notice and bring new ones.) Even before check-in, a staff member called to offer personalized assistance. Complimentary desserts were provided in the afternoon and evening. The turn-down service was also very thoughtful; used towels and bathrobes were replaced, and drinking water with glasses were placed by the bedside. Environment: The sea-view room offered a stunning direct view of the ocean through its large windows, especially beautiful on a clear day. First round of minibar drinks and snacks: The minibar was very well-stocked, with double portions of each beverage. There was a capsule coffee machine, and even a bottle opener provided, which felt both thoughtful and generous.

Location: The hotel is located in Sun Bay, offering stunning views of the 'glass sea' right from the rooms. It's especially beautiful on a clear day. The beach sand is incredibly fine, noticeably finer than other bay areas. Facilities: The buildings have a simple yet grand design, and they look particularly striking at night when the exterior lights come on. The hotel grounds are picturesque at every turn, adorned with many art pieces. The rooms boast a minimalist yet luxurious design with extremely expansive sea views. The iconic 130-meter indoor pool is absolutely mesmerizing with its lighting effects in the evening. Cleanliness and Environment: Our room was cleaned twice daily by the housekeepers, once in the morning and once in the evening. I also noticed that they managed to clean precisely when we were out of the room. The public areas throughout the hotel are also very clean, with cleaning staff constantly visible. Service: From the moment we checked in until we checked out, every hotel staff member was incredibly friendly and responsive to our needs, while also maintaining a polite distance, which was very comforting. Dining: In terms of my personal preference, the Tea House > Hotpot Buffet > Steak Western Restaurant. If you're staying for more than three days, I recommend trying all the restaurants. If you're only staying for a day or two, the Tea House is the top choice. Summary: Although the hotel's price is indeed a bit higher among the many resorts in Sanya, its exceptional design, superb environment, and impeccable service make it highly recommended if your budget allows.
