We arrived later at night than anticipated. The man at the front desk was understanding & generous as he carried our luggage up to our room. Our room was cute& cozy. Very clean. Breakfast was delicious & many selections to pick from. Hotel was in a great location. About A 10-15 minute walk to the train station. Because of the friendly staff, I would stay at this hotel again!

Stayed in a two-bedroom suite for two days, the room and service were good, punched in the Michelin Samsung restaurant memory, great! The hot spring is also very big and comfortable! The only dissatisfaction is that the indoor heated swimming pool is told that it cannot swim, and the children are allowed to go to the outdoor pool, but the outdoor pool is very small, the water temperature is cold, and it can’t swim at all. The original words of the pool management are used by this pool to relax, but this is a standard pool. Can you soak in the water and can't move? If you want to relax, why not go to the hot spring next to it? It says that the swimming pool is not allowed to swim, and you can't understand it! If the hotel feels that the indoor pool is not suitable for swimming, then the outdoor pool can be repaired a little bigger, so the problem will be solved. After all, in addition to the hot spring, there are still guests who hope to take a good swim!

it was my daughters birthday and we could not have had a better experience! I contacted them ahead of time and asked if they could decorate and if we could get a cake (which I saw you could get on there website). when we checked in everybody was very friendly and when we got to the room (a corner suit) it was gorgeous the room itself was great and the birthday decorations were lovely. we decided to have dinner there and we had the daily menu (5 courses) the food was great. they decorated the table and after dinner (we were already full) they brought the cake, which we thought they forgot, out it was beautiful! we had it for breakfast too. everybody was so nice the whole stay was great.

We booked 2 rooms at the Mercure City west in Chur, in one of the rooms the comforter had blood stains, this was very unpleasant, the rooms were large and comfortable but not clean, the pillows were not comfortable and the breakfast was very bad, and the price is 25 CHF , you can find better breakfast in the city west shopping center for less ,don't pay the breakfast in the hotel ,the front desk was not friendly and unapologetic when we told them about the blood stains on the comforter, never said sorry.The people in this city is very rude. We do not recommend this Mercure Hotel in Chur, we have stayed in several Mercure Hotels and they have been good, unfortunately not this one.

As a transit point in and out of the mountains, this hotel in Chur is very suitable. The staff is enthusiastic, the service is professional, the sanitary condition of the hotel is very good, and the rooms are big enough. If it is a temporary one-night stay before going to the mountains, it is very suitable. The hardware conditions are average, but since it is a transit hotel, the requirements are not so high. As the first ancient city in Switzerland, Chur still has a special charm. It is good to spend half a day strolling around. In addition, the canton of Graubingen, where Chur is located, is highly recommended. So far, not many Chinese tourists go to skiing in winter and hiking in summer. There are Bernina Express and Glacier Express to sit, and you can also go to the origin of the Rhine to see the canyon and hike. Zurich is also convenient in the past.

This very unassuming hotel is located conveniently right in the heart of charming Chur and just a 10 minute walk from the train station. My room was nothing special but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the real Five Star experience came in the dining room. I was not prepared for the depth of the menu and the quality of the service in an absolutely beautiful setting. It was one of the best meals I've had anywhere! I only wish that I had had another day to enjoy more great food.

We planned a last minute trip to Switzerland and decided to first stop in Licechtenstein and we are very glad that we did. And equally glad that we had a room at Hotel Schatzmann. Room was very nice and clean, reasonably priced, and the staff (especially the lady that checked us in - I wish I would have gotten her name) could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. We've stayed at this hotel several times before and have always had a wonderful stay and this time was no different. This trip we stayed here twice since we had to take a side trip to Zurich in the middle of our stay for business. We were warmly welcomed by Jens (the talented Ikebana artist) who changed our room so I wouldn't have to climb into a tub to use the shower which would have been difficult with my bad knee. The room was well appointed, had a coffee machine (should be required in any hotel room) and the water pressure in the shower was wonderful. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's right in town in a pedestrianized zone which makes it perfect to go to museums, the church, shops and cafes. It's also easy to get to the path to walk up to the Prince's castle. When we returned for our second stay, we were warmly greeted by Daniela who had already put a suitcase we left for the four days we were gone in our room. This room was a suite which was very luxurious and even had a steam shower. This was a welcome surprise which we appreciated a great deal and used nightly. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet with a coffee machine that made a beautiful and tasty cup of coffee. There were eggs, bacon, sausages, yogurts, smoothies, pastries, bread and cold meats and cheeses so there was plenty to choose from and it set us up for the day. There are two lounges near the check-in desk which I visited for coffee, juice or a little sweet treat which they had available. There is parking in a section of the public underground parking lot just for guests staying there which was very convenient.

Ffr_philThis was our second stay at the Palais Bad Ragz and just like the first time, it was just perfect. The Palais is part of the Grand resort Bad Ragaz which has two other luxury hotels and the Tamina Therme, which you have access to. The pools/therme complex in this hotel is just amazing. The service is second to none and all the staff are here to cater to any desire you may have. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The place is not cheap but you get what you pay for and even a little bit more. It is the perfect place to relax and forget about everything else.

Wir waren vor ein paar Wochen da und haben auf der Restaurant Terasse etwas getrunken. Der Service war super freundlich und die Lage/Aussicht natürlich wunderbar. Nun war ich vergangenen Sonntag mit meiner Mutter da und wollte sie mit einem Apero überraschen da sie in Unterterzen aufgewachsen ist. Als wir 10`lang nicht bedient worden sind ging ich nachfragen und man beschied mir knapp es seit Selbstbedienung (??) und ich könne mich ja selber bedienen, serviert werde nicht und die angefragten Getränke hätten sie eh nicht, es habe was es habe punkt. Konsterniert haben wir dann auf einen Aperetif verzichtet. Schade und wenn dem denn schon so ist, macht allenfalls auch der Ton die Musik ..... Ich hoffe sehr, das das ein ausnahmsweise Ausrutscher war.

The Cabine was clean and well featured as well as the bathroom place. The fondue served on the terrasse taste really good and the breakfast served on the terrasse with the sunrise was perfect. GGuest UserWe spent a week in this hotel to drive to the Flumerbergen skiing. The location is also good for families. In 3min. You are with the car at the gondel underterzen and in 20min. In Tannenheim where you can go to the gondel. The staff is familiar and very friendly. Breakfast buffet is small but fine and you find something for everyone. Also for dinner we were there 3x. It was excellent! All very fresh and prepared and made with a lot of love. Price-performance absolutely suitable! The room is convenient and clean. It was just a good 5+7 size for us and our two children, because we were out of the world every day, but for the next time we would prefer something bigger - but this is a detail. Thank you very much to the hotel for the beautiful holidays we were allowed to spend with you. We will come back ;-)

GGuest UserWe booked a room with a beautiful lake view from the 3rd floor for 2 nights. Clean hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was very fine with many types of cheese, bread and jam. The restaurant is also delicious. Currently the autumn menu. Value for money with this view is right - for the hotel and restaurant. The lunch menu was also fine. Large classic ice cream menu. Also here very friendly patient staff. The area is - despite the weekend - very quiet. We didn't have any problems as other guests report that it would be noisy in the evening/morning?! We also slept with the window open - there was no air conditioning - but the noise level was normal and even before 10 p.m. it was quiet in the area. An ideal place to relax by the lake as well as to eat in a nice ambience.

GGuest UserThe hotel was used by me in the framework of a bus trip with a German bus company. I personally had a single room that was very well equipped with modern. Bed with kit option. Top bathroom with big shower. Big TV on the wall, safe and daily Zimmerreinigung.2 x within 5 days a free bottle of mineral water on the room. Breakfast was super for a group dishes. Two very large coffee machines, there was never a congestion. Excellent coffee specialities. Yes, and the hit every morning a top Swiss cheese buffet, min 5 cheese varieties for the same cutting(naturally with the Swiss cheese cutter!) evening choice menu, 4 times it always tasted well and who wanted could get a multiple bonus. Don't forget , the very friendly staff in service. On the roof terrace you have a wonderful view in the beautiful mountain landscape or the castle of Sargans.

Lovely grounds and cool atmosphere for a stay. While most guests do end up in one of the clusters of buildings surrounding the castle, we found our rooms to be spacious and comfortable (we were in the 30's block). The location is tucked away and relaxed, however only a short 5 min walk to the Tamina Spa and slightly over 10 mins into the little downtown area of Bad Ragaz. The included breakfast was nice and had plenty of options. The only ”gotcha” here is that everything seems to shut down very early. We enjoyed the Tamina spa until about 7 PM and then started thinking about dinner. We popped into the on-site restaurant and learned that there was only a set menu (which didn't fit our style) for $45 CHF per person. Without much choice, that seemed a bit steep so we decided to head into town (it was a Tuesday). We were a little dismayed to find that nearly everything was shut down (grocery, convenience, restaurant and even bars!). A local to the area took mercy on us and helped us find the one restaurant that was still open (and it was cute, cozy, and delicious). When we got back to hotel, we thought that maybe we'd enjoy the bar on-site for a drink (as it was only about 9 PM), but it was empty as well. I'm not sure if this is common for the area (we traveled in Oct). Great for some R&R, but lacks many options for enjoying any type of nightlife.

I prefer not to do a bad review, but we gave this hotel every opportunity to resolve our issues but got zero back from them. I don't have a problem with self check in, but then we had no hot water, and subsequently cold showers. Despite speaking to someone who could speak english on the phone, who assured me it would get resolved, it didn't. Resulting in cold showers again in the morning. There were a couple of other things wrong with the room, which we reported, but it was the lack of hot water that was unacceptable. Numerous emails later where we were promised financial compensation, but this has never been forthcoming. Its the attitude to us, as the service user, that is the most galling. The restaurant however, was excellent. The food delicious, good portion size and value for money. Plus a great breakfast. The staff were lovely, but with limited English, tried to be helpful. We got the impression they were independent of the hotel.

GGuest UserThis hotel suited our needs, as we wanted to explore the untourist part of Switzerland. The hotel was the first hotel we have booked on the trip app which was not prepaid. When we arrived at the hotel it was automated entry with us entering our details into a entry machine by inputting your name and locating your booking and inserting payment card. Your room key is than printed and you swipe in.
The rooms are clean with a nice decor with large windows providing plenty of natural light. The beds are comfy and we slept well as located in a quite location. Maybe too quite for some as most shops where closed. There is a local pub near by with friendly bar staff. Breakfast is provided but limited with choice compared to other places we have stayed. I liked that freewater was provided in the room which was a nice gesture. Bathroom is functional with very good shower pressure.
