"I had initially worried the typhoon forecast would spoil our ocean view, but to my surprise, the weather turned out great, and we were treated to a fantastic sea view. My mom and the little one even said they could happily spend the entire day just lounging by the bed, without needing to go anywhere else! They all voted this place their favorite accommodation of our Chaoshan trip. My mom especially loved how clean it was and the simple, yet elegant decor. My son, on the other hand, appreciated the dining table for easy takeout meals, and the small room's desk for building blocks and catching up on summer homework (phew!). The overall service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful – highly recommended! Additionally, transport on the island isn't very convenient; I'd highly recommend booking a private car for much better efficiency and comfort."

"This trip to Nan'ao Island, I chose to stay at the ”On the Island B&B (Nan'ao Island Houzhai Store)”. The overall experience was very good. From the room view, the location is convenient, to the boss's intimate service, it completely exceeded my expectations. It is a high CP value homestay I will want to stay back! First, the location. The B&B is located in Jinlong Road Yindu Building, Houzhai Town, Nan'ao. The location is very good. There are many net red food shops in Nan'ao nearby. Whether it is seafood barbecue, casserole porridge, salt chicken or beef hot pot, there are several high-rated restaurants within walking distance. Not afraid of being hungry. It is also very convenient to walk from the B&B to the nearest convenience store and breakfast shop, which is an ideal choice for free travel. The design of the room itself is very strong, with white as the main color, with round curved floor-to-ceiling windows, wide view, the scenery is very shocking. The room we stayed in was located on a high floor, and the coastline of Nan'ao Island was directly seen from the window at the junction with the city. In the morning, the curtains were opened and the sun came in. It felt like a holiday room in a magazine. The lights are also very soft at night and the atmosphere is very suitable for relaxing and resting. Another highlight of this homestay is the service. Although it is a homestay without a front desk, the little brother in charge of the reception is very good. He personally greeted me downstairs and took me all the way to the location of the parking lot (about 300 meters away). He would also take the initiative to help carry the luggage. This makes people feel very intimate. She also very enthusiastically helped us introduce the gameplay of Nan'ao Island, such as where to watch the sunrise is the most beautiful, where the beach is less and clean, what must-eat snacks, etc., rich and practical information, saving me time to do my homework online. Regarding hygiene, I also want to give a big praise. The cleanliness of the room is reassuring, the sheets and bedding are clean and odorless, the bathroom is also kept very clean, there is no musty smell or water stain residue, even the mirror is polished and shiny, which fully meets my basic requirements for accommodation. Small details such as hair dryers, kettles, bath water pressure are also taken care of, and it is very comfortable to live. However, I still have to mention a little regret, that is, the parking lot is a little far from the homestay, and it takes about 300 meters to walk. If you are driving by yourself, and it may be a little troublesome to drag large luggage on rainy days. However, considering that the overall parking resources on Nan'ao Island are limited, it is quite good to have a fixed free parking space, and the safety is also high, and it is not easy to be posted. Overall, I am very satisfied with the experience of staying at the ”On the Island B&B (Nan'ao Island Houzhai Branch)”. Good location, beautiful scenery, intimate service, clean environment, reasonable price, especially for self-driving tours or couples, it is a romantic and practical accommodation choice. "A trip to Chaoshan wouldn't be complete without a visit to Nan'ao Island! 😁 And of course, a sea-view room was a must. After browsing countless options, we finally settled on Zhiyu. With two beds, it was perfect for our large family getaway and offered the best overall value for money. Pulling back the curtains revealed a stunning 180-degree sea view. The distant windmills, cruise ships on the horizon 🛳️, and the vast blue ocean 🌊 truly enhanced our trip. The room was well-equipped with amenities like an aromatherapy diffuser, a tea set, a speaker, and even disposable bath towels (a minor suggestion: individually sealed tissues would be a nice touch!). It also featured a refrigerator and a washing machine (quick tip: the fridge had a slight odor that could be addressed ☺️). The host even provided two electric scooters 🛵, and cruising around Nan'ao Island with the sea breeze made this summer incredibly satisfying. Before we checked out, the host presented us with local souvenirs, which really made us feel like true Chaoshan locals 🙃."

"Yes, you can see the sea but it's not a full seaview as claimed. There is one building blocking the views. Despite that, you get quite a view from the balcony. The washing machine also turned out to be handy. The location is less than 10 minutes from the town center. You will need to rent a electric scooter 🛵 to move around. The scooter rental company recommended by the owner provides good service."

"The sea view is absolutely stunning! The room faces the ocean directly, and waking up in the morning and opening the curtains to see the sea is incredibly soothing. The guesthouse is located near the beach, making it relatively quiet and comfortable 💛💛💛. They offer a self-service breakfast, and after check-in, the hotel even sent up a fruit platter and juice for an afternoon tea ☕️ – so thoughtful! 🥰🥰🥰 This guesthouse is really suitable for couples 💑 and family trips, and they even have standalone villas, which are worth checking out. It's great for kids too, with a children's pool and a small sandy beach 🏖️ – definitely a hands-free experience! 👍👍👍 You can take photos all day long, and they turn out beautifully ✨. Bathroom facilities are spotless, and all necessary toiletries are provided. There's also a reliable 24-hour hot water supply. The air conditioning works exceptionally well; even at 27℃, the room feels pleasantly cool. Convenient laundry facilities are available in the common area, and each room is thoughtfully stocked with plenty of hangers.
