Scenic Hotels in Nanning

"Came here on a friend's recommendation, and it was excellent! The hotel is conveniently located downtown, with a metro station just 200 meters away. However, if you're driving, parking can be tricky and traffic often congested. For us non-drivers, it was incredibly convenient. The kids loved it too! Robots deliver takeout and collect dirty laundry, there's a welcome gift, plus kids' toothbrushes and slippers, which made traveling with children a breeze. My only suggestion would be to add child toilet seats. Breakfast was also excellent, offering a wide variety of options. Children had their own dining sets, and the noodles and fruit were delicious, as was the local yogurt. Overall, a well-deserved five-star rating!"

"The stay at Marriot has been very comfortable that we decided to extend 1 more night. Service are exceptional especially Arthur and Sally, who had been very helpful. Arrived at the hotel in the morning but Sally helped to arrange a clean room for early check in. Arthur helped to resolve the card and room extension. Will come back again!"

I prefer nature, so I think the outdoor garden of the hotel is very beautiful and full of natural atmosphere. I basically go there to sit every day, look at the scenery and think about things. The staff are very enthusiastic and patient, and they will try their best to satisfy what I want. I remember that there was a girl named Xiao Lu who answered the phone. Her voice sounded very nice, which made people feel happier. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone."

Several issues that affected my comfort: Cleanliness: The cleanliness of my room and certain common areas was below acceptable standards. The room appeared unclean and the bathroom facilities were not thoroughly cleaned. Breakfast are lesser comparing to my stay last year I believe the room would need some renovation and touchup work. "There are paid upgrade options available at the front desk for a room with an amazing view of the Yongjiang river. The upgrade price is excellent! If you need any assistant, don't hesitate to contact manager Mrs. Xia (Employee ID 962), she provides outstanding service. If you would like to experience local life in Naning and try authentic local food with local people, take a walk along Qixing Rd (七星路) behind the hotel. You'll find a variety of businesses there, like school, hospital, restaurant, fast food. I recommend Xianchi Bazhen Fenmian (仙池八珍粉面) for Laoyou Noodle (老友粉)."

"This is obviously a very nice hotel and I would recommend and would stay here again. Luxury is very obvious all over this hotel, and it is frankly very cheap for what it is. The moment we came in, bellhops insisted to carry our bags up to the 80th floor lobby. They were always opening doors for us and very helpful with our bags, 24/7. Once we arrived, we were welcomed in and sat down at an individual desk for check in. There, we were served some excellent tea. The hotel purser came over and welcomed us in. My girlfriend is Chinese and spoke to the staff in Chinese, but the purser switched up to English to welcome me to the hotel, which is a nice detail. Most Chinese hotel staff consistently avoid putting in the effort to speak English to me. The hard product is amazing and is matched well with great service. Staff were always attentive and welcoming in both Chinese and English, always saying hello and checking in. The cons: This hotel, just like most Marriott hotels, is trying to nickel and dime you, which doesn’t make a lot of sense at this price point. In some ways it isn’t, such as an included mini-bar (all non-alcoholic), but for example it doesn’t have a laundry service, while basically any 3-5 star hotel in China would have included laundry. Also, there is a car transfer service, but it’s so absurdly priced for no particular reason. 400 rmb+ for basic transfers where as a Didi would be 10 rmb. Similar luxury properties such as the Ritz-Carlton has these amenities included. The restaurants were nice. We only tried Na Lian, which despite being an in-house guest and being told that they could get reservations for us, we basically were treated like walk-in’s despite being told we had reservations (and we were unable to get a window seat). The bar was also nice and we enjoyed it, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The bar manager waited for us to arrive, but the bar consistently had spend limits for any table or reservation, which additionally just seemed silly, considering we were already staying in a booked deluxe room. The drinks and lamb were very good. The menu was a little outdated, and illustrated wine by the glass, but we were then told that the menu is wrong and they don’t do that. Also, there was strangely a lack of extra towels and bins in the room. I found myself walking into the bathroom many times to throw away trash. This is a good hotel and I plan to be back again, but it can definitely improve. Too much nickel and diming. Good service and good products inspire people to come back, which is worth much more than selling one bottle of shampoo and pushing a customer to never return again. Comfy robes and slippers. 9.5/10"

"The sanitation is very good, the air conditioner is independent, not central air conditioner, you can control it yourself, 10 minutes from the exit C of the subway Macun, go straight, no need to cross the road. The hotel is its own building, and there is a parking space at the entrance of the hotel. There is an alley next to the hotel, there are some bread, sugar water, noodle restaurants, fast food restaurants, and the gas station is next to the hotel."
