Scenic Hotels in Lanzarote

"The location indicated is not very accurate in relation to its actual location. The hotel was very friendly and we asked for some recommendation and was a total hit. The reception staff is scarce to meet the huge number of guests who arrive and leave the hotel. The system set to contact reception did not like anything, there was no direct phone, the central station passed the call but no one responds to it .... after trying it 4 days before our arrival was impossible."

"We spent 16 nights over Christmas and New Year at the Fariones and had a great time. The Hotel is beautifully and tastefully renovated with subtle luxury in a classic mid- century design which you would typically find in smaller boutique hotels. Many old features of the traditional Fariones Hotel were kept which all together provides a very comfortable and classy and elegant atmosphere without being stuffy or fussy. The grounds and garden resemble top luxury resorts in Thailand or the Maldives with plenty of palm trees, exotic gardens and many different and private areas for lounging, sun bathing, relaxing and so on. All 3 restaurants have their own style with great food and service. All rooms have sea views with a high level of comfort, design and decoration The sports center 2 minutes walk away although a little older offered everything needed and more... The hygiene concept was professional and taken seriously Hotel Director Jörg and his team made great efforts during Christmas and New Year with a classy programme of dining, entertainment, live music and daily piano sessions which all in all provided a very festive atmosphere. The multinational team of the Fariones displayed a very positive spirit. The hotel opened only a few month before the holiday season and it seemed that everone was exited to be back in business ater 4 yers of renovation. Despite the reopening there was not a single negative service moment in over 2 weeks. Just to name a few staff members who made it a special stay for us: Arnaud, Emilie and Javier from reception. "This is a good hotel with very high standards of cleanliness. There is a lot of choice at breakfast and the hot options vary each day. It gets very busy sometimes, even though the staff do their best to clear the tables quickly. Reception staff are variable in their level of friendliness. Some are more welcoming than others. The rooms with balconies to the side of the hotel overlook a very busy and noisy road which I wouldn’t want to stay in again. Fine if you are not bothered by traffic noise. There is a pool and a small gym which a lot of hotels don’t offer."

"A lovely hotel for a few relaxing days. Very friendly staff, spacious room and nice pools. Upgraded to Preferred last 2 days, highly recommended. Use of Lounge, Spa and Infinity Pool of course. More than worth money! Food is diverse, plenty of entertainment and great location. A visit to Rubicon is recommended, use of Link step is also highly recommended. If you go to the Aeroporto by public transport, get on at the harbor (Muelle de Playa Blanca) and not at the Estacion. Hotel is definitely recommended!"

"this hotel is perfect if you want easy way to get to airport the next day. there is a bus stop 5 min walk away, the buses connect all the island. the staff are efficient and polite. they helped me print my boarding pass at no charge. I didn't try the dinner buffet(half a dozen dishes)but looked good for about 18 euros. there is a big map of arrecife on the wall that you can photo and use to get around the city. we had a sea view room,recommended the view is nice."

"The property has an excellent location, close to the area of ​​typical restaurants and on a street that, despite being crossed by cars, is very quiet. The room with a sea view is absolutely recommended, which overlooks not only the ocean, but also the small and picturesque pier below. We appreciated the professionalism of the staff, with whom it is also possible to communicate in several languages, and their kindness. Breakfast is good and plentiful, and is served on a splendid terrace on the sixth floor overlooking the sea. The only ”flaw” that perhaps only Italians notice: there is no espresso, but only nescafè!"
