"Well, what can we say? The loveliest and warmest staff you could have the pleasure to meet! A chance to experience an authentic and stunning corner of Lanzarote. Wonderful rooms - 101 with Mountain views is just incredible. Delicious food, cocktails and wine - the Cesar own label is excellent and compliments the La Santa prawns and local fish so well. Beautiful grounds and setting. A truly spiritual and relaxing massage - in the hotels cave! But what makes this hotel stand out is that every staff member has a unique personality but everyone offers the most warm and welcoming service. We appreciated every person who made our holiday such a joy! A truly special place - highly recommended!"

Villa Vik - Hotel Boutique - Adults Only

"Possibly the most relax, peaceful and quiet holiday I've ever experienced. The hotel is a hidden gem, 15 mins walk along the seafront to Arrecife and approx 25-30 mins to Playa Honda. Nothing else around, no shops, bars, nothing. Just a service station to buy water, crisps, chocolate and ice cream. Water in the rooms would have been appreciated as there's a sign saying not to drink the tap water. Villa Vik was charming, like being in a friend's villa and it's in a residential area, not a resort. It's stylish inside, rooms are big, breakfast was absolutely spot on. Clean and welcoming with friendly staff (when they appeared, service was a little erratic but this wouldn't put me off coming here again). We are out each night in Arrecife or Playa Honda where there are lovely, genuinely Spanish bars and tapas cafes both on and away from the seafront. You can have dinner at the hotel but we chose not to as we like exploring. The bus stop is just 2 mins walk away too. There wasn't a kettle etc in the room but we asked for one on our first night and it arrived straight away. There's a Spar supermarket in Playa Honda and a HiperDino supermarket in Deiland shopping centre there too, where you can buy teabags and milk etc. Really loved this hotel, and hopefully will return one day."

"Excellent stay, we have gone back after a couple of years gap and the hotel is running smoother and exactly as it should. Food is great, something for everyone, the restaurant is busy but we never waited for more than a couple of minutes for a table. The whole resort is spotlessly clean with very friendly staff. Sunlounger reserving does still happen. Some people were sat on them at 8am, others had towels left.. there are notices everywhere asking you not to do that but unfortunately im not sure anybody takes any notice. Overall a great stay, 15 Euros in a taxi from the airport. We we stay again."

"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable and comfortable. With the Royal Level access to a corner near the sea, so even with a partial view you can see very well. The SPA ? Great. For 20 euros the entrance nothing to say and a thalasso path well explained. The meals are divine , I have eaten very well for 4 days 3 nights in any case , everything is fresh and tasteful."

"The staff was excellent, you felt right at home. The breakfast was excellent and the service was excellent. The only drawback was the room, the bed, the pillows were a bit uncomfortable and the TV."

Listening to the singing birds while relaxing by the pool was delightful. The consistently delicious food added to the overall enjoyment of my 4-night stay, making it a perfect birthday retreat. "We are currently on our last day here, the hotel has been nice, the room was smaller than we expected for a family suite but it does the job, we were in Tenerife block that over looks the pool. My kids really enjoyed the swimming pool the pirate ship and slides was a nice touch. Food has been ok, our favourite night was the Mexican night. We were however very disappointed when I got a infected bite, I went to the pharmacy next door and they told me to go to the medical centre, so the hotel called us a taxi and we went to the medical centre, only to be told I can't be seen because I don't have an appointment. We then came back out and there were no taxis in site as it was the middle of no where. I rang the hotel asking if they can send a taxi to us to which they said no! I said how am I supposed to get back then and she just said I don't know and offered us the taxi number to call ourself. You can then imagine the stress and panic this caused us. We tried the taxi number but had no response, so we ended up walking a good 20 mins to another hotel that called us a taxi from there. We eventually got back to our hotel and then went into the medical center next door to the hotel, we were told by the pharmacy not to use that one as they are very expensive, we chanced it anyway and I was seen right away turns out it was a spider bite! Was given anti biotics and also a €506 bill! It's a good job I have travel insurance to claim it back. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool too. Entertainment ok but some nights it was just a disco. There is not much around the resort. About 20 min walk to the main town and shops. We did the rancho Texas trip which was good. We found it too windy for the beach. But hotel on the whole is good."
