"What a gem of a hotel! Booked this hotel last minute as the one we had originally booked suddenly stopped their half board option. So glad we did. Small, quiet, beautifully decorated and furnished. Rooms large, bed enormous and comfortable, large balcony, all furnished tastefully. Staff are so friendly and helpful, always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Evening meals were very good, limited choice of 2 starters and 2 mains - always a fish or meat option, nicely presented and cooked. Wouldn't do to be vegetarian though. Fabulous pool, and the gardens were very tastefully done. There's a garage a 5 minute walk away for snacks and bottled water. 30 minute walk along a lovely promenade takes you into Aricife. There is no night life near the hotel so it wouldn't suit anyone wanting clubs or bars. The only fault we could find was they advise you not to drink the tap water and only provide small bottles of water which you have to pay for. For a 5 star hotel it wouldn't hurt to put a large bottle of water in your room every day. Apart from the garage there are no local shops. Thank you to everyone at Villa Vik for looking after us so well. And they have resident cats!"

"Excellent stay, we have gone back after a couple of years gap and the hotel is running smoother and exactly as it should. Food is great, something for everyone, the restaurant is busy but we never waited for more than a couple of minutes for a table. The whole resort is spotlessly clean with very friendly staff. Sunlounger reserving does still happen. Some people were sat on them at 8am, others had towels left.. there are notices everywhere asking you not to do that but unfortunately im not sure anybody takes any notice. Overall a great stay, 15 Euros in a taxi from the airport. We we stay again."

"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable and comfortable. With the Royal Level access to a corner near the sea, so even with a partial view you can see very well. The SPA ? Great. For 20 euros the entrance nothing to say and a thalasso path well explained. The meals are divine , I have eaten very well for 4 days 3 nights in any case , everything is fresh and tasteful."

"I'm not sure if the previous reviews stayed at the same hotel or they were friends of the owners but my experience was far different. I actually checked out 4 days early because it was so bad. The one owner is absolutely rude and should not be in the hospitality industry. One has to ask three or four times for soap after 2 days they fold the wet towels in your room and just stack them so they never dry. The owners and staff smoke in the dining room so when you walk in that's all you smell and see. When I asked for some ice cubes it was like asking I can't even describe it. I ended up buying my own ice at the grocery store. My room was not as described it did not have a washer it did not have a separate entrance and it only had one window that opened the rest looked into a living room so there was very little natural light. The location is nice but that's the only thing this place has going for it. I'm so glad I left there early it was just depressing."

"We went to this hotel from 31/05 until 12/06 as a family of 4. 10 year old and 4 years old. Absolutely lovely experience. Food was amazing, different theme everyday. We went half board. Breakfast had everything you might need, big variety. Dinners were so good, so much variety. The hotel is spotless, constantly being cleaned. The clubs for the kids were amazing 3h in the morning, both mine loved it. The staff were nice, the location superb, walking distance to everything. The rooms were big and had everything you might need. The hotel is definitely a winner for a family with kids. Id 100% recommend this hotel to anyone."
