"Check-in was quick and easy, with two staff members who spoke Chinese, so there were no language barrier issues. When checking in, they proactively asked about our preferred dinner time to avoid long waits due to too many guests dining at once. Since our room didn't have a private bathroom, we used the public male and female onsen baths downstairs, which were well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. After dinner, you can reserve the karaoke or mahjong rooms at the front desk in advance and use them at your reserved time. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was quite delicious."

"There aren't many people in Atami during winter, which is nice. The seaside hotel is pretty good. They have a shuttle bus service to and from the station, and it's not far from the beach or convenience stores. The hot spring bathhouse is huge, and the hotel even gave us complimentary drink vouchers. Recommended!"

The hotel covers the taxi fare between the JR station and the hotel, and the mini-bar in the room is entirely complimentary. The most enjoyable moments were soaking in the private hot spring on the balcony, gazing out at the sea – truly a quintessential vacation feeling. "There were very few Chinese guests, mostly Japanese families on vacation. We were probably among the rare Chinese guests at this hotel. We chose the Horizon room type, which comes with two private onsen baths. They aren't huge, but they are impeccably clean. Dining was at Ocean, about a 15-minute walk away. The upside is that it's perfect for a leisurely stroll back to your room after dinner to digest your meal. Atami feels like a mini-Chongqing, with very genuine and friendly locals. I'd definitely visit again."

"There's a free shuttle bus from Atami Station. We stayed in a tatami room, which was very clean and had an absolutely stunning view. If the weather's good, you can even watch the sunrise from your room in the morning. Upon check-in, we received complimentary tickets to the hot spring facilities at the new building. The open-air onsen faces the ocean and was incredibly enjoyable. Inside, there are various lounges, making it easy to spend half a day there. Dinner was served at the new building, and after our bath, we ate at the time arranged by the front desk. The food was incredibly plentiful and delicious, and alcoholic beverages were also complimentary. When we returned to our room after dinner, the staff had already laid out our futons – such a thoughtful touch! I highly recommend this hotel for family trips."

"This newly renovated hotel in 2024 has a great mountain view. It costs about 1,400 yen to take a taxi from Atami Station. There are many highlights of the stay experience: the panoramic view is amazing, free drinks are available, and the tea rice for breakfast is my favorite. However, when dining, I found that the olive oil had expired for four months, which is really inconsistent with the hotel's positioning. Although it was replaced in time after feedback, such omissions still make people doubt the quality control of high-end services."
