"We arrived early on the day of check-in and waited briefly in the lobby before being escorted to our room around 3:00. We were given a large twin room with tatami mats. While the furniture was a bit worn, it was very clean. The air conditioner was a Daikin brand and looked brand new. The staff, though not very numerous, were very helpful. Breakfast was a Japanese set menu delivered to the room. Kashikojima Station is less than a ten-minute walk away, and the hotel offers a morning shuttle service. Kashikojima gradually becomes quiet around 5:00 or 6:00, and restaurants and convenience stores at the station close by 6:00. We didn't book dinner at the hotel, so we took the train two stops later to eat."

"Our family of three stayed for one night and were extremely satisfied. First, the room was spacious and clean, allowing us to relax comfortably. The view was particularly beautiful, and the feeling of being away from everyday life was wonderful. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet style, with a wide variety of dishes. Many dishes used local ingredients, and everything was delicious; our whole family enjoyed it. We were especially pleased that there were many dishes that our child enjoyed. It's easy to see why many reviews praise the wide variety of delicious food. Furthermore, the lounge and hot springs were excellent, making it possible to enjoy ourselves even without leaving the hotel. Overall, the balance of service and facilities was great, allowing us to spend a truly relaxing time. This is a hotel I would highly recommend for family trips, and it's a wonderful place we would definitely like to stay again."

"Family 4 There aren't many inns where people can stay in one room, but she prepared my mother's cot, and the room was made into a large room with 2 room. Thank you very much. The facility itself is certainly old. However, since it is a hotel with sufficient ingenuity and service to spend the room comfortably, I think it is a comfortable accommodation. There is no big problem with taking parents who are old and have difficulty walking. Mr. Nakai? However, it was a hotel with a warm impression that served me hard."

"Very Japanese wood made hotel and price with dinner and breakfast is a bargain. The hot spring bath is big plus. Make sure to check in before too dark as no street lights to the hotel. Beautiful water front for all day and evening. Great services. Rooms are much larger than those in the city Nagoya."

"Transportation: Take the Shimakaze train to Kashikojima, which takes about two and a half hours. Contact the hotel in advance for a pick-up from Kashikojima station. The hotel does not provide airport pick-up, but can arrange car hire for guests. Transportation is very inconvenient. Facilities: The facilities are very good. The interior styles of the three Aman hotels in Japan are very similar, and the rooms and public areas are well-maintained. Service: The service is very good. Food: Due to the hotel's remote location, there are no restaurants nearby, so all meals were eaten at the hotel. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly good (I thought it wouldn't be good). Dinner reservations must be made in advance, as the hotel is fully booked on holidays, and the restaurant's dinner slots are also fully booked. You either have to wait until 8:30 pm or eat at the bar. If you choose to eat dinner at the bar, you won't be able to get shabu-shabu. The lunch menu is different; it's a simple meal, but acceptable. The first set meal was a regular set meal, which included a beef dish with a green sauce that was super delicious; I used it to mix with rice. The second set meal included shabu-shabu, with options for Ise lobster, Matsusaka beef, and local beef; I chose the local beef. The reddish-brown sauce in the shabu-shabu was absolutely delicious. Activities: Chinese-speaking guides can be requested for tours of Ise. The hotel didn't email us in advance to inform us about activities or inquire about arrangements. Many activities were unavailable upon check-in. Summary: Aside from the inconvenient transportation and the lack of advance email communication about activities during my stay, everything was fine."

Springing out of the beautiful Ago-Wan Bay peninsula is Shima Kanko Hotel the Bay Suites, a restful Japanese retreat where a sense of peace washes over you from the moment you enter. Grab-your-camera views are in almost every direction, especially at dusk when the hotel offers one of the best vantage points for the sunset. Take it all in from your spacious suite, a masterpiece in modern minimalism. Or watch over the water at dinner. Both Le Mer, the French-inspired restaurant and Hamayu that presents kaiseki-ryori - the Japanese tasting menu, pair memorable food with unforgettable views. They stream into Eau Spa as well- where treatments make use of the energising power of water. Shima Kanko is the proud host of the first Clarins spa in Japan, and guests can expect signature Clarins scents and plant-powered formulas. Rest and rejuvenate in the dry sauna and tepidarium, or step out into the fresh air and outdoor pool. For those with energy to burn, the hotel puts you close to Shima Nature Reserve where kayaks, boats and water balls skim the Bay. There are beaches nearby, as well as landmarks such as Daiozaki Lighthouse and nearby Yokoyama Observatory - for soaking up the setting from dry land. Shima Kanko Hotel the Bay Suites is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property.

"There is a shuttle bus at Kashikojima Station. Find the driver of the hotel bus. The suite will immediately notify the Toyota car to pick you up. It takes three to five minutes by car. After arriving at the hotel, you can enjoy the 5-star service. All rooms face the sea and the sun is shining. The facilities are high-end and complete with 100 square meters. The small refrigerator is all free, and there are Mikimoto skin care products. The lounge has a terrace with an excellent view, and the food and drinks prepared are also exquisite. The service here is perfect. I checked in on my birthday. When checking in, I was asked to choose whether the check-in was on my birthday anniversary. I didn't want to bother others to choose sightseeing. As a result, the staff of the French restaurant on the 5th floor sent greeting cards and beautiful desserts. The chef came to bless me kindly, gentle and decent. Please experience the hotel's cruise ship. 3,600 yen per person is very worthwhile. It takes 45 minutes to visit Ago Bay. The memorial hall of the G7 meeting is a few minutes away from the building next door, and the car can be sent there at any time. In addition to good facilities, this hotel can host high-level meetings. More importantly, there is a perfect service team here. Everything is great. Staying for one night is unsatisfactory. 11 is the commemoration of Yamazaki Toyoko's stay in ”White Tower” that I like. I recommend the French restaurant on the 5th floor, which has a better view and the dishes taste great. I had breakfast at the Japanese restaurant on the 4th floor, but the view was a little worse and the taste was a little salty."
