I booked a stay at Saho, Atour's first high-end hotel in Shenzhen, through Trip.com Business Travel and got an incredibly good price – I'm not sure why they were so generous this time! The hotel is truly impressive, and I think many of the small details deserve a special mention. For instance, they provide sugar-free Coke, offer a 'one-touch deep sleep mode,' and even the shelf next to the toilet has a raised edge to prevent items from falling. The hotel's design beautifully incorporates botanical and water elements, complemented by a unique signature scent. Breakfast was also much more lavish than I expected – can you believe I even had sparkling wine? It's a pity I missed out on the afternoon tea and late-night snacks. I thoroughly enjoyed all the perks and even received a souvenir; it was excellent, and I'd love to come back again! I do have a couple of suggestions, though. Firstly, a visible freestanding sign at the entrance would be helpful, as it's easy to miss when walking along the road. Additionally, it would be good to have a cigarette disposal facility. Even though there's a bin across the street, having one right outside your entrance would certainly be preferable to guests littering. Secondly, please ensure the plants in the room don't snag the curtains, as this would compromise the effectiveness of the 'one-touch deep sleep mode.' These are just minor issues, and overall, I'm still very satisfied. I hope the hotel continues to improve.
