Bikes were available to borrow, which was very convenient.

The hotel is about a ten to fifteen-minute walk from Nakamura Station. However, its proximity to souvenir shops, restaurants, and convenience stores makes it quite convenient. Just be aware that the nearby restaurant closes at 9 PM. Breakfast is a complimentary buffet for guests. I can only say the Oden was delicious, but everything else was rather subpar. It was fully booked due to Golden Week, so I couldn't switch to a non-smoking room. However, the window could be opened for fresh air and ventilation, and there was also a humidifier in the room, so I was still reasonably satisfied.

The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Nakamura Station. During afternoon check-in, guests can enjoy a welcome drink at the restaurant. They also offer complimentary curry rice after 7 PM. The lobby features a variety of manga to read, which is a nice touch.

I booked a specific time for breakfast, but the reservation ticket I was handed showed a different time. The air conditioner made an incredibly loud rattling noise, which made it very difficult to fall asleep. The bathtub was absolutely filthy, covered in water stains and mold. The food was also quite disappointing and didn't taste good at all.

I stayed on the 3rd floor, and there was a peculiar smell right outside the elevator. However, given the affordable price, I found it tolerable. The hotel staff were incredibly polite and provided excellent service, which makes me want to stay again.

For the price, it was excellent. The meals were delicious, and the staff were also incredibly friendly and pleasant. Even with the current high cost of living, I found it to be truly wonderful.

This is a great little hotel. It was so unassuming that I was pleasantly surprised by the service, comfort and quality of my stay here. I half expected only an average place, but from the moment I entered the lobby and was greeted by the warmest, friendliest reception, I was totally happy. He quickly checked me in, and upon my enquiry on suitable local restaurants he informed me they have free curry right now, along with bottomless drinks (hot and cold, tea, coffee, juice and soft drinks), it was perfect, just want I needed after a long day. He also helped with parking as their hotel lotcwas full. The room was basic, but it was all clean and worked well, the bed was comfy and shower had good pressure and hot water, heaven. Breakfast the next day was also lovely, a good mix of Asian and western. I was chuffed and would gladly stay here again. The hotel is a bit old, and while they do seem to make an effort to maintain it, I was slightly put off by the dust in some corners and a musty smell in the room. That said, the breakfast was incredibly satisfying.

The hotel has 3 car parks, you can park for free. There is free curry serving during weekdays. The hotel building itself is old, but it is value for money and competitively clean. Free breakfast included.

The seafood bowl was excellent! It was so satisfying that it kept me full until evening, which was a huge help. The staff were friendly and excellent! I arrived quite late, and since dining options were far, I ended up getting food from a nearby convenience store. It's a good idea to plan your meals in advance.

The hotel basically has everything we need for our stay in the Shimanto area. As I booked the hotel very cheaply, there is nothing to complain for such a price. They had a happy hour during the night time where they served drinks and curry rice. They also have breakfast which is sufficient enough to give us energy to start our day if adventure in the southwestern area of Kochi.

Overall, it was pretty average. The name certainly sounds imposing, but the reality didn't live up to it.
