I stayed in a standard twin room, and the facilities were new and spacious enough. I was able to enjoy my favorite subscription movies on the large TV. Happy hour from 6pm offers free drinks, curry, ice cream, and snacks. Free coffee is served in the lobby from 8pm. There is an all-you-can-eat snack bar in front of the front desk for children, and the system of amenities where you only get what you need was very good. Unfortunately, I was unable to use the free breakfast because I left early in the morning. If I have the opportunity, I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again.

The front desk service is very good. There is free curry rice and rice noodles during the happy hour in the evening. The breakfast is quite satisfactory. It is less than ten minutes' walk from the Surugaya main store, which is very suitable for eating valley

Location is the best, other than location, nothing special. The guest room is too small and dark even all lights are switched on. But the light in the bathroom is too strong when you take a shower you feel uncomfortable with the top light. They do not clean the carpet, I saw some tissue dust for 3 days, and the dust are still there even though I request room clean up every day.

The location is close to the station and the facilities are clean.
I didn't eat breakfast, but they provide a buffet of bread from a famous local bakery.
The amenities are plentiful. I especially liked the bath salts ^^
However, although the location is good, if you are visiting Shizuoka for the first time,
If you try to find the crosswalk without crossing the subway, you will have to go around a bit.
And there is only one elevator,
You cannot use the stairs.
It is on the 2nd floor, but the lobby is right below, so it is difficult to wait for the elevator that stops on the 11th floor and keep going back and forth.
I don't think it matters if you are not on the 2nd floor.
The hotel is good value for money.

The hotel is a 3-5 minute walk from the south exit of Shizuoka Station. I booked a suite and was given room 02. The room was very large, with a view of Mount Fuji and the sea. It was very worthwhile for more than 1,000 yuan a night.

About 10 minutes walk fro Shizuoka station. Staff were generally friendly, but were not very adept at speaking English, which could lead to difficulties checking in. Also be sure to book the room EXACTLY for how many guests will be staying, as they will not provide extra amenities for extra guests. Otherwise, pretty nice hotel with nice hot spring (large hot pool, cold pool, sauna and outdoor area with hot spring to cool off). Ample washing machines and dryers for dirty clothes as well. Mostly local Japanese tourists as well so the amenities are relatively clean and people are nice and civilized.
Complimentary breakfast buffet and curry rice at night are plus points as well.

The hotel has a convenient location. There are 3 nearby parking lots for self-driving tours, and 24-hour hotel discounts are available for ¥1,200.
Although the room is small, it is comfortable. Facial creams and other supplies are provided. There is also a bath to relieve fatigue. Fast check out is convenient and fast. It is worth recommending👍🏻

It’s an amazing experience. The hotel is very well designed. Super clean and very friendly and helpful staff. They try very best to speak English. The property is immaculately maintained. If you love modern architecture and appreciate good interior design, you will love staying here. It’s designed by the same architect as Tokyo SkyTree. I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

SSheila Lim Yen SunI regretted booking only 3 days 2 nights. It was so comfortable staying at Nihon iro. Staff was nice, amenities were complete. They even provided some discounts vouchers for nearby eateries. We can even enter the spa for free. Too bad we had such a short stay, we managed to spend time at the beach enjoying some craft beef with some cherry beans fries. Life was great for 3 days. Thanks for sending us to mochimune station using tuktuk. Definitely will visit again and again and again!
SShih Yuin ChewTo my regret, should have booked ALL my nights in Shizuoka with this place. Because of some of the negative reviews online, I was sceptical and worried thus didn’t wanna put all eggs in one basket. But the worry was totally unnecessary.
Given the price, a fair comparison should be a dormitory styled hostel, and this place far exceeds any of the capsule hotels/dorm hostels I’ve been to (I’ve booked around 50 in Japan by now).
First, it has its own room and bed, privacy +1.
Second, it has its own large locker in the room (not as large as the largest suitcase, but more than enough to keep valuables and clothes), convenience +1.
Third, COMFY bed with incredibly thick foam support and super-single kinda width, sleep quality +1.
Fourth, the shower room area is ultra spacious and brightly illuminated, with close to 10 counters (and chairs), you can take your time taking care of your hygiene and facial breakouts at your own pace.
Fifth, it has a partner cafe (hug coffee) two doors next to it and the breakfast and/or drink coupons it offers could save you quite some money compared to walk in yourself.
The list could go on when you compare it to other hostels in the town (instead of hotels in another price range)
Given, the door of the room cannot be locked, and there could be a chance of hearing noise from other rooms, but these are common issues across all hostel settings, and it’s more of the travellers issue than the place.
So overall, I must say this is a place of very high value. I’ll almost always stay in this place if I’m to pass by Shizuoka again in the future.
ZZhizuchangleingThe transportation is very convenient. Because we chose to take a boat the next day, there is a good Batu in front of the station. It is small but complete with everything, including a small refrigerator and business breakfast in the morning. There is a big supermarket next to the hotel and it is also close to the subway station, so it is still highly recommended.
JJUNHO(I stayed at the Ezaki building) The interior facilities are very good. There are two shower rooms in the duplex-type independent building, so it is spacious and nice. There is a bit of a distance between the check-in counter and the accommodation, but... a red-haired English-speaking staff member at the check-in counter personally guides you. He is very funny. I have been to Japan many times, but this was the first time I had a language barrier like this, but I can't tell you how good it was to communicate with this person in English. The room is clean, and there are two beddings except for the bed, but it is not just a mat, but a topper, so it is comfortable enough, and the bed is also comfortable and nice. The service cookie is just Lotus flavored.
They gave me a drink coupon as a welcome drink, but I couldn't use it, which was a shame. A convenience store is also about 5 minutes away?? Unlike regular hotels, you have to take off your shoes to enter, so it was more convenient, and anyway, the facilities are good and clean, so it was nice. There are department stores, shopping malls, Wasabi House, drugstores, Nanaya, and other shopping streets within 10-15 minutes, so it's good.
The only downside is that security can be a bit weak...? Since it's Japan, there's no such risk burden, but it feels that way.
It's a structure where you enter by holding the door lock key behind the wall, but um... (see photo) Anyway, that's it... So there's a little noise from cars passing by. But it's okay. Everything is great. Oh, and the doorbell sound was also the convenience store bell sound, so it was funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If you're thinking about going here, it might be good to go ㅎㅎ
Oh, another interesting thing is that you can send various inquiries or things you need to know before check-in through email chat starting the day before check-in.
SSelngI can see Mt Fuji from my room but the sound insulation is very bad can hear the train running clearly even with the windows closed . Location is great as it’s near to JR station and fish market Room is tiny though, squeeze for 2 Pax
MMietaejk1230Toothbrushes are not provided, so bring your own. Slippers are provided in the room, but I was a little hesitant, so I bought disposable slippers at the front desk for 60 yen. Other than that, everything you need is available for free, and the facilities were comfortable and convenient. The plan included breakfast, and although the number of items was small, it was good that everything was available. This was my first time staying at Toyoko Inn, but I would definitely use it again.
島島魚The location is right after the interchange.
It's within 30 minutes from both Shimizu Port and Nihon-daira, so it's very accessible.
The Sawayaka Shizuoka Inter store, which I was looking for, was also a 3-minute walk away, so it was the best location for this trip.
I was also very grateful for the permanent sauna.
It was the Obon period, and there were foreign guests staying there, so it was almost full, but the sauna was almost never used and it was almost reserved for us.
It's a pretty authentic sauna with aromatic water, you can do loyly freely, and it's outdoors, so I think it's the best sauna if you choose the right season.
(I used it during the Obon period, so the cold bath was too warm and I couldn't fully relax.)
The staff were very kind, and there were always staff on hand who were very conscious about customer service.
I think the free drinks are a great way to differentiate the place.
The all-you-can-drink craft beer was great.
There was also all-you-can-drink lemon water and soft drinks, so I was able to enjoy a leisurely drink in the open space instead of having to drink in my room.
I think it's very good considering the cost performance.
AAnonymous UserIt seemed to be the day of a fireworks display and was very popular that day.
Check-in was done in one part of the coffee shop.
We apologize when it is crowded as the general public also enjoys tea.
The rooms have air conditioning, but the beds do not, so it feels very hot and difficult to stay there.
There are no towels or toothbrushes.
You need to bring your own.
Earplugs were available at the washbasin.
There is only one shower and one toilet, so you have to be patient when others are using them.
I woke up in the middle of the night when someone came home and took a shower because of the noise.
You have to cross a big road from the station, so it is better to go out with plenty of time to spare.
陳陳查禮Excellent location within walking distance to major tourist locations and shopping and dining districts as well as public transports. Carpark is available across the road at 1100 Yen for 24 hours. I chose room with breakfast for 2 and it is well value for money. The spa, though small, but is well kept and much undertilized. In fact, I am the only one using the spa. Environment, services and facilities are all up to good standards. Guests can also have free access to the coffee and soft drinks machine around the clock.
일일둔이It is close to Shin-Shizuoka Station, but it is a bit of a walk to Shizuoka Station. It is unmanned from late afternoon, and the person at the counter is a bit sharp in terms of service. Other than that, I was satisfied with everything!
