My brother and I stayed at Hotel Associa Shizuoka during our trip, and it was absolutely fantastic. Our room was on one of the upper floors, and we had a stunning panoramic view of Mount Fuji right from our window. Waking up to that sight every morning was unforgettable. The bathroom was also well-equipped and modern. The breakfast was excellent – a wonderful buffet with both Japanese and Western options, all fresh and delicious. Very good location, but the curtain was so bad. I was woken up by the sunlight first thing every morning. If complimentary eye masks would be a thoughtful addition. The bed was quite firm, almost like sleeping on tatami. It may suit some guests, but it wasn’t very comfortable for me.
