From the moment we arrived, the staff made our stay unforgettable. We came to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and they went above and beyond—singing a heartfelt birthday song and surprising us with a beautifully decorated fruit cake. Their warmth felt genuinely sincere; they clearly love what they do and take pride in creating magical moments for guests. The spa experience was a highlight—a unique 3-hour treatment that left us feeling renewed and pampered. The room was always fresh with vibrant tropical fruit, and the breakfast (served until 5 PM!) made our mornings feel extra relaxed. On days when we went on early tours, they even prepared a thoughtful morning basket for us at 4 AM. The setting was pure paradise: a tranquil garden, luxurious airport pickup, elegant room décor, and imaginative towel sculptures that greeted us each day. Everything was infused with care and beauty. If you’re looking for a stay that combines thoughtful luxury with heartfelt hospitality, this is it.

My wife and I had the most magical honeymoon at the Waka Villa in Siem Reap! Seriously, if you're looking for a romantic getaway, this place is a MUST. The service was impeccable, everyone was so friendly and attentive, specially Mr. Seam and Ms. Phalla who were always very friendly and anticipating our needs before we even asked. Our villa was gorgeous, spacious and private with a nice pool that we practically lived in. The food was incredible – the fish amok and pomelo salad were definite highlights and some of the best meals we had in Cambodia all prepared by the best Chef Mrs. Phalla and her team. The Waka Family also went above and beyond for our honeymoon, decorating our villa and arranging an amazing 3-hour spa package. They made us feel like royalty and created memories we'll cherish forever!! Highly recommend it to any couple looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience in Siem Reap!

No doubts one of the best stays ever! Starting from the seamless communication before, through the checking in process, during the stay, and check out - everything was perfect. O really enjoyed the privacy of the villa, swimming pool and modern architecture. The hotel also organised a tour guide - Tom. Really passionate and knowledgeable man. I strongly recommend Waka Villa.

This has been a breathtaking stay at Waka Villas (7 star quality indeed). The private Villa with Pool and an interior of traditional mixed with modern minimalism and warmth, was ever so welcoming after long days on tours. Well situated only a few minutes by tuk tuk from the center of Siem Reap city where markets and intriguing streets allow for a wonderful experience among locals. We want to thank the entire Staff especially Manager Mr. Okabe and our kindest Siem and Kim for being always one step ahead of our needs. And our tour guide „Mr. T“ (Tola) who has a one of a kind way of explaining the history of Cambodia with so much fun we ended up retelling his stories to our families! Encouraging us to think about what we see and understand the bountiful kindness of the Cambodian people. Thank you for introducing us to Cambodia with so much love. Looking forward to booking here again!

The manager was Japanese and provided detailed support, so even though it was my first time in Siem Reap, I was able to sightsee with peace of mind. The hotel also provided great hospitality, and my stay was more than worth the price! I was also very satisfied with the food and spa.

It was better than I thought, just like the picture, and there were no mosquitoes. There is an electric mosquito repellent so it dies as soon as it comes in. It's clean. However, the distance is a bit remote. I'm taking a good rest

The Waka Villa Private Resort is easily one of the best resorts I have had the pleasure of experiencing. If you are looking for a luxurious, modern, well appointed, quiet, relaxing vacation stay in busy Siem Reap then book a reservation at this fine establishment. The Cambodian staff are friendly, attentive, kind, and cater to your every need. Just the marvelous staff alone would have been enough for me to give Waka Villa 5 stars. However, there are many more superlatives to this resort. For example, the family suite we stayed in was private, spacious, and immaculate. The suite had its own private pool. The resort also has a bigger public pool which has the feel of a private spa sanctuary. Secondly, Waka Villa provides a custom made all you can eat breakfast. You order from the menu and the food is freshly prepared and brought to you promptly for your enjoyment. Third, they provide free laundry service where your dirty laundry is picked up and brought back to you the next morning in sparkling condition, clean and pressed in the most professional manner possible. Fourth, the outdoor gardens are lushly planted as if you were residing in a meticulously manicured tropical arboretum. Fifth they have spa services available which are much needed after a busy day sightseeing Angkor Wat and the other fabulous ruins in Siem Reap. I rarely do lodging reviews but the excellence of the Waka Villa compelled me to post this recommendation. Book a stay here, you will be very glad you did!

Our family of four stayed at the Waka Villa in their 3-bedroom, 3.5 bath family suite for three nights from March 17th-March 20th, 2025 The property is new and just as pictured--bright, clean and inviting, an oasis in the midst of a tourist town. This resort is located away from the center of the city so it's quiet and allows for calm and relaxation. The suite itself is large with a living room, a dining area outfitted with a refrigerator and a hot/cold water dispenser which is a wonderful touch by the property to provide filtered water for guests in an environmentally conscious way. The stairwell is curved and elegant and each bedroom upstairs has its own en suite. This unit has its own private pool which is not only esthetically pleasing, it's a luxury that is seldom available at any other resort. The air-conditioning works wonderfully. What makes this thoughtfully and elegantly appointed villa is the staff. From check-in the reception staff shared bright, genuine smiles that welcomed us and they exuded warmth and genuineness that truly embody the spirit of the Cambodian people. Laundry service was exceptional and done with care and attention. Breakfast was delightful with a menu from which you can order and personalize to your taste. The staff in the restaurant provided excellent service each time. Although we want to keep this spectacular place a secret, the resort deserves the accolade and applause for providing a truly memorable experience for our family as we visited Angkor Wat. We would definitely stay there again if our travel plans bring us back to Siem Reap.
