I can highly recommend the Riversoul Boutique Hotel. We had a great stay there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, well equipped and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect. It is very quiet. The market and restaurants are within easy walking distance. We were given a delicious breakfast for our trip.

Stayed for a week here in March/April ‘24. Payed just shy of £50/night including a supplement of $15 for a child bed. Great location for downtown Siem Ream, without being in the craziness. Totally walkable if you can manage the heat, only 10mins from pub street. Tuk Tuk is $2 and well worth it. We had a room overlooking the pool (which is quite small but perfectly functional for quick dip after a day at Angkor). The room had a wardrobe with 6 hangers which for three people was a bit poor. The room as a whole lacked drawers of any sort to put your stuff but there were a couple of shelves. Bathroom was spacious but lacked a door. Sliding glass door separated the toilet from the bedroom… Shower area was spacious with a walk in shower but mildewed mosaic tiles ruined the effect. The showerhead itself leaked out of the sides and just looked tatty. Aircon was insufficient for the room size and as a consequence the room was often very warm at night. Room servicing was variable. Sometimes it was good and sometimes you barely knew they’d been, leaving random numbers of towels/facecloths (?), not making the beds properly etc. The rest of the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. Free WiFi and as I’ve said, the location is what really makes it.

Calm, peaceful and very comfortable hotel in an excellent locations. Staff are amazing! So professional and friendly. The rooms and beds are spacious and comfortable and the bathroom is big with a bath, shower and separate toilet. Breakfasts are great value too.

Everytime we came back from our trips in and around Siem Reap, the wonderful staff of this small hotel made us feel very welcome. After a hot day it was nice to relax at the pool and enjoy a cocktail during happy hour. The hotel is located on walking distance of the old market, the Made in Cambodia market, pub street, many restaurants and cafes, … It is close to all the hussle and bussle of Siem Reap but at the same time you can enjoy the calm and relaxation environment by the swimming pool. I will definitely stay here again!

i like the environment of the hotel

A great location for us and felt this had good value/space for the family suite. This was the first time on this side of the river for us and we loved being able to walk to several fabulous restaurants and a mini mart. Staff was very nice, helpful and easily planned airport pick up, tours or rides to temples, etc. upon request. Plan ahead for best results and choice of vehicles. Massage booking was very good. We opted to go elsewhere for meals and found several great spots - our favorite breakfast was a short walk away. We all agreed that we would return again to Riversoul Boutique.

It was a fantastic stay. The hotel service is very nice. We are delighted. I can trully recomended this place. Hotel is clean, brekfast where delicious. There is a nice polo. Water is clean. Next to the polo there is a bar - drinks are delicious.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of the city. Near are a lot of restaurants and shops. The rooms are big and clean. Comfortable bed and the room have a Tv, air conditioning. Lovely staff.Good place for family with children. I really recommend this place.

It’s really great place!! No complaints ! Mr.Jacky is very helpful and nice person 😀 and actually all staff is great! We are here with group of 15 people and everything is perfect ! Breakfast is very tasty, you can choose between continental or local food; For sure i will come back here in the future

Housekeeping, the sound of the corridor and the crowing of roosters nearby, it is recommended to wear earplugs if you get up late. The hotel staff are polite and helpful. Massage service technology and equipment still need to be improved.

Let me start this review by saying I stayed for 21 nights (we booked and paid for 26 nights), and I know most people only stay three nights - so hopefully the issues I state in this review won’t be an issue for you if it is a short-term stay. - In general, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, though not great at communication. - Rooms are spacious and tidy, and offer ample storage. - The housekeeping staff were good, and the room was always clean and tidy. Though on numerous days they didn’t restock the toilet paper. Also, some of the bedding was ripped. - You can easily book a driver for tours through reception. - They have a spa on site. Although it would have been better with an actual table instead of a mattress on the ground, it’s great to have that option. - The pool is clean, a reasonable size and also very beautiful. I love that all the pool chairs have a covering to protect you from getting burnt. - The location is great. You can walk along the river in the mornings for exercise, or it is also a five minute walk to a gym. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Old Market, and a quick walk to lots of restaurants. - They will only provide one room key, even with two people. - It is best to check if there are any major holidays when you book. We stayed over the Christmas/new year period, and there was a concert for three evenings at the nearby gardens which was incredibly loud and lasted until 11pm/1am and resulted in no sleep. If you are fine with noise (the hotel provides one set of earplugs as there is a rooster next door who is loud), then that won’t be a problem for you. In my case, the earplugs didn’t help. - The noise from the pool travels upwards to the hotel rooms, and on two occasions there were children yelling in the pool in the evening. After 45 - 75 mins of the yelling, I had to call reception to ask them to talk to the children and their parents to reduce their noise. I shouldn’t have to do this; the staff should recognise the issue and preemptively do something about it after 20 minutes or so. - We dined at the hotel for dinner one evening, and ordered fruit sodas. They didn’t have the supplies (which I understand, because they recently reopened and were dealing with limited patronage), so they went out to get supplies. It took 35 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and we weren’t even offered water in the meantime. I would have much preferred if they gave us the option to change the drink order. - We invited a friend to have lunch at the hotel at 12pm, only to be told they don’t start serving lunch until 1pm. This is a very strange time to start serving lunch. After this and the dinner incident, we didn’t eat there again. - There was a fire very close to the hotel, and the smoke travelled over it. The smoke alarm in the hotel next to us went off, but not this hotel’s smoke alarm, which was concerning. Très bel hôtel et bien situé. Pas trop proche des rues animées pour les nuisances sonores mais suffisamment proche pour y aller à pieds. La localisation est parfaite ! Le personnel est très chaleureux et accueillant. Toujours aux petits soins. La piscine est suffisante pour se relaxer après une longue journée et on y trouve une restauration satisfaisante. Nous y reviendrons à coups sûrs.

Beautiful hotel with super nice staff. The only issue is that we didn't have hot water for the first two days, but fortunately Cambodia is pretty warm :P

The rooster crows 360 degrees without blind spots, and the coverage is wider than their hotel's WiFi. It crows intensively from 4 to 6 in the morning, forcing you to get up. The crow is different from domestic roosters. It's disgusting and will drive you to death. Obsessive-compulsive disorder, it crows at irregular times throughout the day, completely preventing you from resting. Don't take any chances. The service and breakfast are very good, and the bed is very comfortable, but you can't stand the rooster crowing.
