Hotels in Taphul Village Area, Siem Reap

One of the standout features of my stay was the impressive poolside area. The large pool provided ample space for swimming and lounging, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation. The surrounding deck was well-equipped with comfortable loungers and umbrellas, allowing guests to soak up the sun or find shade as desired. The serene atmosphere, complemented by lush landscaping and gentle water features, created a tranquil environment to unwind. Additionally, the attentive staff frequently came by to offer towels and refreshments, enhancing the overall experience. Whether for a refreshing dip or simply to relax with a good book, the poolside was truly a highlight of my stay.

The room was not cleaned very well, but what else do you want for this price? We arrived early in the morning by night bus, and the hotel we booked didn't have any rooms yet, so we booked this one temporarily. The photo is of the nearby vegetable market.

This place was on the good side. However, the staff were a bit sketchy and price of their services have 10% service fee and another 10% government fee, which for me is too much. That perhaps explains why there are not much people eating in or availing tours from them. Also, I arrived at around 10ish in the morning and asked if I can check in early. They said I have to pay $5 in order to check in early but I told then I was willing to wait. A few moments later, they asked me to give them a good review either on trip advisor or google reviews so they can let me in. I did it for the sake of checking in but I just want to let you know that happened. Hopefully they can improve this matter.

It is a new hotel. However, not having iron and hair dryer available is not acceptable. You could just go out and buy. IT DOESN'T COST A FORTUNE + Room is huge + staff can speak English + Bathroom size is reasonable + the staff can speak English + the balcony is great (wish there is a ceiling fan there) + swimming pool (pretty small) +great recommendation on tour guide - no hair dryer + iron - wish the shower has a separation screen from the toilet

На 4 этаже классный балкон по периметру, откуда открывается вид со всех 4 сторон отеля. В номере не убирались и не меняли полотенца. К еде протоптали дорожку муравьи, поэтому пришлось менять их маршрут и выносить пакет на балкон. В целом для того, чтобы переночевать отель подойдёт. В номере было 2 полотенца, зубной набор, фен, тв, вода, холодильник.

Been here for about a week. Its close enough to everything that you can walk. Got decent food but great resteraunts nearby.

The reason I can't give it a full 5 is because the shower pressure on the 3rd floor is too weak, and the floor gets dirty quickly when you walk barefoot, and there are no indoor slippers. It's a big deal when you get out of the shower, and the supplies are so old that they need to be replaced. And there's nothing from a TV to a hair dryer, except for an electric kettle. Nevertheless, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast provided individually is delicious and hearty, and I'm especially grateful for the kindness of the owner who looks like Evangeline Lilly, the elf from The Lord of the Rings. The front desk staff who gave me a discount when I didn't show up for a motorcycle company and rented me a bike from another company. The owner who brought me a map and explained the tour course in detail, and recommended an airport bus because the taxi fare was expensive. I booked a taxi and the tour ended early, so I requested to change the taxi payment to the airport bus, but the manager who said that the card cancellation was not accepted and made up for it with a free massage for an hour, and the owner who was cheerful and kind until the end and sent me off. I won't be going to Siem Reap again, but I highly recommend it to backpackers.

First, the space and environment here are very comfortable and pleasant, the rooms are clean and fully equipped, giving me a very relaxing feeling. However, I have some dissatisfaction with the receptionist's welcome the two receptionists were not very enthusiastic and welcoming. The hotel is same as in the pictures. It’s very pretty and authentic inside, the pool is clean, the rooms are spacious, the water is hot. They expect to leave shoes outside or take them to the room when walking in socks They clean the rooms only if you ask to clean In the mornings it’s a bit noisy because of the neighbours and the cleaning staff talking loudly in the halls The rest is great

The first impression was good when I entered the entrance. The friendly staff was also good, and the pool was good. I will stay here again if I go on a trip to Siem Reap again.
