The hosts Antonios and his wife are extremely generous, welcoming and lovely people. The apartment was stunning, spotless and you could tell a lot of thought, pride and love had been put into creating a very lovely place to stay from the well appointed kitchen to the spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Parking was good and Wifi excellent. It's in a lovely position, near to Loutraki and Glossa, but peaceful. The view from the large balcony/ terrace is outstanding! There were plenty of loungers, a table and chairs where we had dinner watching the sunset. We only stayed one night as we had already booked a week on Skopelos as part of a package holiday, but decided we wanted to see more of the island. I wish we could have stayed longer and I hope to visit again. Upon leaving we were given a jar of fruit which I shared with my father today and it was lovely! Don't hesitate to book if relaxing in peace with an amazing view and wonderful hosts is what you are looking for.

The whole thing from start to finish, was a mistake. We shouldn't have booked this hotel in the first place. First, it isn't as close to town as er thought, based on the description. You have to walk approx 1 mile up a steep hill to get to it from the port. Second, the owner's attitude was shocking to say the least. When we arrived, he insisted on seeing and photocopying our passports. Had no problem showing our passports, but I didn't wish to have them photocopied. I've been travelling all over the globe for years, never had such a peculiar request before. When I pointed that out to him, he said that's what the law says - when I asked evidende of such law, he was unable to produce any. He then claimed he is the president of some kind of local hotel owners club, which means nothing. I was trying to understand the reasoning for such behaviour. His response was that if we were criminals, then Police would like to know our details! What a nice way to welcome your guests, by implying they may be criminals! I explained storing a paper copy of my passport in his back office, wasn't a very secure way of handling personal data and I wasn't comfortable with it, but he wasn't listening. In the end he gave us a refund and we walked off. Thankfully, we found a place in the main Skopelos Town, which we ended up enjoying thoroughly, as Skopelos Town seemed to be a lot more civilised. We never returned to Glossa, nor we are planning to do so, ever again.

Nice accommodation, near Glossa village. Room clean, large with a fantastic view of the sea. Large terrace invites you to linger at sunset. Towels were changed daily, even if you didn't put them on the floor. Hygiene articles available, as well as mosquito nets on every window. Our room even had two air conditioners. Parking spaces available in the yard.

Second time at Aegean Wave, located on the hill that surmounts the port of Loutraki, the quietest part of Skopelos. The location is splendid, with a view of the marina and the infinity of the sea in front, right where you can watch beautiful sunsets. The room was the Andromaki, spacious, with kitchenette, and large bathroom, every comfort present, A / C, wifi, TV, fridge, everything, everything. . But the terrace ... The terrace, huge and overlooking the sea, is a marvel! The self-served breakfast, eaten under a grape pergola, on a terrace overlooking the sea, the day cannot start in a better way. We stayed 7 nights and had a fantastic time! The view is magical, absolute silence, the room spotlessly clean, the hosts very friendly. Everything was perfect! The breakfast needs improvement eg the bread could be fresh from a local bakery or it could have local products and not frozen pastries. Details before everything else, but this hotel deserves absolute perfection!

Vivrete un vero e proprio sogno alloggiando in questa struttura. L'accoglienza in primis da parte di Antonios, sua moglie Andromaki e Maria sono il vero punto forte. La tranquillità di lui e il sorriso di lei distrugge ogni barriera linguistica in quanto parla esclusivamente in greco. In ultimo Maria, che non perde mai occasione di salutarti ovunque la incontri, vi faranno respirare e assaporare la vera tradizione greca. Camera con vista mozzafiato sul mare e pulizia all'ordine del giorno. Vicino al piccolo villaggio di Glossa dove perdersi tra vicoletti e trovare vere taverne e negozietti tradizionali dove gli abitanti ti faranno sentire come a casa. Ogni spiaggia di quest' isola a una sua particolarità quindi tutte da scoprire.
