We had initially chosen another hotel, but after much deliberation, I chose the Huayi Boutique Hotel, which was about the same price. My first impression was very positive. "This hotel, converted from a 300-year-old Qing Dynasty rammed earth building, consists of three separate sections: Gejiaoge (lobby/restaurant), Hongshiyuan, and Zhangjiaotang. It beautifully preserves its ancient charm with yellow walls, grey tiles, horse-head walls, courtyards, and mossy stone steps. The rooms are poetically named after Song Dynasty sages, such as 'Jingxing' and 'Huaijin'. Its central location within the village makes it incredibly convenient to visit both the 'Couple Trees' and the observation deck. The butler service is exceptional; they contacted us in advance, met us at the village entrance upon arrival, and helped with our luggage. The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. Staying here feels like living out a slow-paced, ancient painting..."

"The location isn't in Chenjiapu, but in a village below it. It's very quiet, and parking is easy. There's an ancient path leading to Chenjiapu from here, about a 20-minute walk. Chenjiapu was very crowded during New Year's Day, so we didn't drive and walked from the guesthouse, which was very convenient. The guesthouse staff picked us up from the parking lot; they were very welcoming. The guesthouse is at the bottom of a flight of stairs, and our room, number 8, was at the very bottom. We had dinner at the guesthouse, and it was quite good. Breakfast was also plentiful and we ate our fill. The flatbread was especially delicious!! The purple cake was also tasty, and the kids loved it. The golden shaded dog and the puppy were very well-behaved; even I, someone who's afraid of dogs, loved them. The room was large, the air conditioning was strong, and the hot spring pool wasn't too hot, but it was enough for the kids to play in. Our time here was too short; it would be great to come back in the spring to relax and unwind."

"This mountain resort has a rustic, village-like decor, yet it boasts 5-star hotel facilities, ambiance, and service. The price is also very reasonable, offering incredible value for money. What really surprised me was finding a small football pitch built on the mountain. As a football fan, being able to play early every morning while breathing in the fresh, negative-ion-rich air was fantastic. I'll definitely be back for another vacation when I have the time."
