This B&B is truly stunning. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by its warmth and comfort. The rooms are beautifully decorated, each revealing the owner's thoughtfulness and taste. The bed is soft and comfortable, and after a night there, I felt completely rejuvenated. The housekeeper was also attentive, welcoming, and non-intrusive. Best of all, there's a cat named Xiaoya who also lives here. I was very satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it!

This village is still in the early stages of development, and its simplicity is its biggest feature. All the villagers we met when walking around the village, regardless of age or sex, were all smiles. Their accents were not clear when they were given directions, so they simply took us there. When we arrived at the place, the door of the cultural relic-level old house was closed, and the villagers who led the way pushed it open and called out the owner loudly to let us visit and introduce it to us. The B&B we stayed in was the first B&B in the village. It was built entirely out of logs and was designed and constructed by the host himself. When we walked around the village, we found other B&Bs under construction. It turned out that the host was helping to build houses for others. . The proprietress' cooking skills are very good, hotel-level. Our two families, four adults and two children, went out to play together. When the boss saw it, he took the initiative to upgrade us to a large suite, two independent suites plus a living room in the middle, and a small yard in front of the door. On August 15th of this year, I spent admiring the moon, drinking, drinking, and singing in this small courtyard. I will never forget it! Good accommodation doubles the travel experience! The butler created a service group a day in advance, with seven or eight people in the group to provide services to guests, helping with luggage, and delivering desserts in the evening—the service was impeccable. The hotel shares an area with Shanye Yunye Hotel, and the restaurant is also quite good. The hotel also offers various activities; we experienced plant-dyed canvas bags, and for the Mid-Autumn Festival, we even had a free mooncake-making experience. The photographer was especially patient, helping us with the crafts and letting us take over 200 photos! In short, staying here for a couple of days when there are fewer crowds is a great way to relax and unwind!

First off, this hotel is huge, almost like a scenic area itself! 😂 Many rooms even have their own terrace. If you have enough time, spending a whole day relaxing at the hotel, sipping tea or coffee, would be incredibly pleasant. So, the environment is definitely a big plus. And with supposedly 120 rooms, they clearly have substantial resources. We checked in on the 3rd, and the hotel was pretty much fully booked. It must be quite popular in that area. Honestly, for a hotel nestled in the mountains to maintain such a high standard of environment, they're probably one of the only ones. I have to say, the food at the hotel's restaurant was good, especially the slow-cooked salted chicken. It was even better than what I had later at a highly-rated restaurant in the county. My only minor suggestion would be for the dishes to come out a little faster. 😎 The room design isn't entirely flat, so the views from rooms on higher levels might be even better (though the lower levels aren't far behind). The rooms come with a bathtub and a balcony, with a floor-to-ceiling window offering a direct view of the mountains. It's truly delightful to feel so immersed in nature. Facilities and Services: There's a small convenience store within the resort that offers room delivery, which is a thoughtful touch. They also have a cafe and an infinity pool. If you plan on swimming, remember to bring your swimwear! There's also an open-air bakery where you can watch them bake bread. If you don't want to trek up and down, you can also buy from the cafe directly, and they'll send it up to you, offering more options. After all that, my final advice is to try to visit during off-peak times, because the value for money is absolutely fantastic!

The boss and the proprietress are both people of Yangjiatang, warm and thoughtful. The room is big enough, but it is still cold in winter, especially the meal is in the yard, the boss thoughtfully gave the brazier, the food is also very delicious, the facilities are slightly old, I don’t know if it is to cooperate with the atmosphere of the Chinese courtyard, if the room can be cleaned in time, it would be better.

After comparison, we chose to stay at the ”Yunhaijian Culture B&B” in Pingtian Village. It is named after the magnificent scenery of Pingtian Village for more than 200 days a year. This is a comfortable place to live in a tea room, coffee house, pottery and tie-dyeing handmade, and the mountain is outside the window. Miss Butler gave us a free upgrade to the deluxe double room ”Liushan”, the terrace is facing the grandfather's cat coffee shop, ”Grandpa's cat coffee” is a village cat coffee transformed from the village utility room, the store adopted more than a dozen stray kittens, here you can drink coffee, cats, ancient village scenery. Dinner at the ”Shanjiaqing Restaurant”, booked the dishes one day in advance, of which Xieli Tea Shi chicken stew uses Songyang rheumatized herbs, slow stew with local chicken, chicken soup is delicious, meat is tight and tender, is a famous dish for tonic medicine. The night in the mountains was surprisingly quiet, and almost no sound was heard. The black silhouettes in the mountains were left in the distance. The yellow walls of the cottage, the stone steps of the small courtyard, and the wooden windows of the coffee shop were reflected in the warm yellow lights, and the light and shadow were mottled, like a broken star. Looking up, there is no world noise, and the lights and the night are gentle. The whole ancient village of ”Yun Shangpingtian” sank into a peaceful sleep. I walked on the stone steps, listened to the mountain breeze gently across the eaves, and felt the coolness and quietness of the ancient village at night! The next day, the housekeeper also sent a souvenir Dragon Boat Festival tea! Recommend this homestay!

The room is too small, not as big as the 32 square meters introduced in the picture, I am very surprised that there is a bedside aisle for one person. And there is no door in the bathroom, and the humidity is all facing the bed after the shower. The parking space is at the door of the hotel, and there are two parking spaces in the hotel, which is quite difficult to stop. This is the biggest slot. Secondly, we went to the store and asked where the parking space was. The two waiters were estimated to be from the opposite restaurant, and said that we would run opposite the door and we didn't care. Fortunately, the decoration of the homestay has characteristics, and there is a balcony. Sitting there for tea at night, watching the aunt wash clothes in the river in the morning, especially to the ancient street of Ming and Qing Dynasties is really close. The beds are also soft and sleep well.

Mingsu Inn is about 700-800 meters from Yangjiatang Village. You pass Mingsu Inn when entering from the outside. The location indicated on Ctrip is about 200 meters off, so it's a bit off. The room was very clean, and even though you're in the mountains, you didn't need the air conditioner. The owner was very nice and even gave us fruit. We had dinner and breakfast there. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, which was very rich and affordable. It included fried noodles, porridge, eggs, and several side dishes. They also had a delicious steamed bun.
