overall a very nice place in a small village. great for those who search the outdoors and few other tourists. hard to find, even for our local didi driver. Very friendly hosts, but no foreign language communication possible (also not with apps). the breakfast was very tasty and in our case all vegetarian.

The overall environment is nice. Currently, we are staying in Buildings 1 and 3; Building 2 is still under renovation. The chef's hand-pulled noodles for breakfast were excellent; some people even ate two bowls. Xiaohoushe Village itself isn't very big, so we basically drove out along the mountain roads each day to explore the surrounding area, returning in the afternoon to stroll and take photos near the rice paddies in the evening. We booked dinner in advance for both nights we stayed, and the stir-fried dishes were very flavorful and suited our tastes perfectly.

The village B&B is very quiet and of high quality. The proprietress is very gentle. My husband said that the proprietress is very much like someone from the city. Hahaha~ This is the most simple compliment. The boss's food is also very delicious. I will definitely come again if I have the chance. The B&B is located at the highest point of the village, on the edge is a stone steps up the mountain road (1.8 kilometers) leading to Chenjiapu Village. The locals can walk in 20 minutes. Sitting there for tea at night, watching the aunt wash clothes in the river in the morning, especially to the ancient street of Ming and Qing Dynasties is really close.
