TT/RThe Monument Hotel in Barcelona is an exceptional accommodation that seamlessly blends historic architecture with modern amenities. This was our second stay at this beautiful property, and I was once again blown away by the level of hospitality and attention to detail.
The hotel's location is perfect, allowing you to easily walk to all the top attractions, restaurants, and wine bars in the city. The concierge, Xavi, is a true gem. He listened intently to our personal preferences and provided fantastic recommendations, including a wonderful nail salon when I was in need of a manicure. Xavi's restaurant and wine bar suggestions were spot on - we enjoyed some of the best local cuisine and wine during our stay, and have saved those recommendations for future visits. The hotel itself is stunning, with a beautiful historic facade complemented by modern, well-appointed guest rooms and common areas. The amenities are top-notch, ensuring a safe, comfortable and convenient stay. From the luxurious bedding to the high-end toiletries, every aspect of the guest experience is carefully considered.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona, whether it's your first or fifth time in the city. We look forward to returning again soon.

BBaiyuncanggoumanyoukeThe One in Barcelona is a classic hotel. The service staff is very professional but also businesslike. The location is quiet and excellent, very close to Casa Pablo. The pizza shop, tavern, chocolate shop and local Spanish baked dumplings shop next to it are all very good. The hotel breakfast is simple, not a buffet, similar to a set meal, with a single variety, it is better to go out and eat by yourself.

GGuest UserIt's a pretty good hotel, especially if you're traveling by car. It's conveniently located close to the airport, and the city center is only about a 10-minute drive away.
The rooms are quite spacious and look clean.
Breakfast was quite hearty, with options like hash browns and pancakes, and everything tasted good.
It's worth noting that all the elevators in this hotel are panoramic elevators, so those with a fear of heights should be aware.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite new, but many of its design details are impractical. For instance, a common complaint, which I also experienced, is that the shower design causes water to overflow and flood the entire bathroom floor. Another issue was an unexpected city tourist tax charged during checkout. Fortunately, Trip.com was incredibly patient and responsible in liaising with the hotel, and I eventually received a full refund. On a positive note, the hotel breakfast was quite extensive.

GGuest UserWe ended up in this hotel because there was a problem with our pre-booked hotel. They try to clean the rooms well, I liked it, a nice, pleasant reception, thank you! I just didn't like the elderly man serving breakfast. On the first day, when I came for breakfast (I assumed that breakfast was included, because when changing hotels, the other parameters should not have changed), this man quite rudely asked me to leave, because breakfast was not included. It was unpleasant, he demonstrated everything as if he was trying to steal breakfast. And as a result, they save on champagne at breakfast. They put one bottle and do not change it for a very long time, after the previous one is finished (we still went to breakfast on the following days)

GGuest UserA truly beautiful and comfortable hotel. The bedding was incredibly comfortable! The rooms are spacious and well-designed, helping all our travel fatigue simply melt away. The location is excellent, offering convenient access to major attractions. Unfortunately, our itinerary was too packed, so we didn't get to fully enjoy the public areas. A real pity! We hope to stay here again next time.

GGuest UserThe sea view has a sth in the middle that blocked the view, but so far it’s a good view with yachts (if the weather is good). Pretty far from everything related to business. We had a hard time traveling every day to city centre as business traveller, but uber is cheap here so it’s ok. Very leisure traveller, i think it’s a good hotel. For breakfast I think it’s more cost effective to book here on app. It’s much more expensive to pay at the hotel. Breakfast is good here.

The breakfast at the hotel is a plus one and the entry is super nice. However, the rooms don’t reflect the ratings of this hotel. Maybe it has lost one or two stars through the years.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

ZZhao Xiu binEverything were good, except air-conditioning, it only have fan ventilation therefore the room was very hot, show on the thermostat was 27-28 degrees during day time, night time had to turn on the fan, even outside temperature was 16-18 degree. Bed is a bit hard for me.

From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful.
The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect.
Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on.
All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!
