My stay at El Nido Resorts Lagen Island was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff's warmth and genuine hospitality were exceptional; they always wore smiles and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support. The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island. The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. ”I’ve visited a few sea turtle conservation programmes before. Some are there to be photographed. Some are actually doing the work. This one is actually doing the work. The staff know the current state of each nest and can estimate roughly when hatching will happen. During the release they don’t let visitors touch the turtles. At night they use red-light torches and ask guests not to use flashlights or camera flashes. That night, sixty-something hatchlings made their way toward the moonlight and into the sea. Two of them moved slower than the rest. That part stayed with me. The tent sits right on that beach. Shared bathrooms, a short walk away, not a problem in practice. The restaurant is just outside the glamping area, a little walk in the evening, but along the way one evening we saw someone propose on the beach with the sunset behind them. Quite something.”

My husband and I celebrated our second year anniversary at Cauayan. We considered other resorts but we have definitely made the right choice. The island is just breathtaking! We were greeted with a warm welcome by the hotel staff and were escorted to our beautiful villa. My husband arranged a private tour of El Nido islands, where we ended up visiting about 7 spots with our guide even acting as our photographer (he took fantastic photos and videos too). In terms of food, the buffet breakfast offered a wide array of food selection. For lunch / dinner, we enjoyed all that we ordered (though some are really very spicy, so take note). The bar staff can concoct amazing drinks as per your mood & whim. I particularly enjoyed the spa and wished I booked a much longer massage. Our stay at the island became so much more meaningful when we witnessed hawksbill sea turtles being released to the ocean….As amazing as all these are, the best part of our stay in Cauayan is the friendly and customer focused staff. They prioritize the customers’ needs, always have a smile on their faces and have just made our stay in El Nido a memorable one. Thank you Cauayan and we will surely return for another amazing experience at your island!

We had an amazing stay at Lihim Resort and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The accommodation was excellent – very comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. The food at the restaurant was outstanding every time, fresh and delicious, and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. A special mention goes to Nicky, who was always incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel truly at home. The butlers were also amazing – professional, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, Lihim Resort exceeded our expectations, and we were extremely satisfied with both the service and the atmosphere. We would gladly come back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.

Thise resort is the perfect place to spend your holiday. Either a quick, free tricycle ride from the hotel or ten minutes of easy walking distance away from El Nido make it a convenient location. It offers excellent lodging, several pools, and a lovely, well-kept garden. In addition to a wide selection of dishes, the restaurant boasts an amazing sunset view. I must express my gratitude to the working group; they are an excellent team. They are all incredibly courteous, kind, and well-mannered. I want to thank you again for everything and see you soon.

We stayed only one night, but have been warmly welcomed. Nice and clean hotel, although it was terrible weather (storm) there was no issue (flooding or leakage), the room was comfortable, with good size and arrangement. Breakfast can be taken with a very nice view on the beach (careful, it’s not the best beach of the area). Team welcomed us warmly, there are restaurants (TAAS worth it) all around which makes a good location overall (trip in tricycle to the town is always funny).

Matinloc Island is truly one of the best places to visit in El Nido, Palawan. The island offers not only breathtaking natural beauty but also an unforgettable experience thanks to its delicious food and wonderful staff. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. They treated us like family and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. The cooking was excellent — every meal was freshly prepared and full of flavor. The seafood was especially amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and served with care we very love the steam fish. Big thank you for the chef 10/10,dining by the beach while enjoying the view made the experience even more special. The room design was modern, with touches of tropical style that made it feel warm and relaxing. The large windows and balcony offered stunning views of the beach and ocean — waking up to the sound of the waves and the sight of crystal-clear water was simply magical. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the room was well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We also appreciated how well-maintained and spotless everything was. The staff made sure our room was always tidy and fresh, and they were quick to assist with any requests. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with good water pressure and quality toiletries provided. Aside from the food and service, the island itself is absolutely stunning. With its crystal-clear waters, soft white sand, and peaceful atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to relax, explore, and take beautiful photos. Whether you’re visiting for a day tour or staying overnight, Matinloc Island offers the perfect mix of beauty, comfort, and hospitality.

The hotel is well located and quiet. The room offers enough space, about 25m2. A terrible ”view” from the window onto a wall of the washroom/staff room is just awful. The bathroom is unfortunately extremely small and has no storage space for a toiletry bag or washing utensils. There is a clean and beautiful pool on the roof. From there you have a great view. The breakfast is by no means appropriate for the high price of the rooms. There is practically no fruit selection, the ”juices” are chemical crap and hardly edible. No yogurt, no cheese, no freshly ground coffee (which you would expect at these prices), no bacon, no real bread, just the usual toast nonsense.

The hotel is simply gorgeous. The view from the room was perfect, and breakfast overlooking the beach was especially nice. The room was clean, and the linens smelled delicious. The staff was very friendly. The beach was almost empty, just a minute's walk away. The perfect place for privacy.

Upon arrival, I was a little surprised by the somewhat isolated road, but as soon as I arrived, I found a special place... beautiful, welcoming, the owner was friendly and thoughtful, she helped us with everything, then rented scooters that allowed us to explore the beaches, etc. Always hot water, air conditioning, satellite TV... swimming pool, in short, a dream. I will definitely be back.
