"This hotel's service is the kind that ruins your day. I was asked for my room number three times. The first two times were fine, and the inquiries were at least polite. But once, when my child was playing in the pool, a male attendant came over and very sternly asked for my room number. His look and expression made me feel like he thought I was some outsider trying to sneak into their pool! It was incredibly offensive! To top it off, our child cut their toe in the pool. When I mentioned it to them that evening, there wasn't even a single 'sorry.' I initially thought about sending an email to complain, but then decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I definitely don't recommend this hotel! The food was also bad; even the butter at breakfast was some unfamiliar local Filipino brand."

Great
AAnonymous UserThe location is very convenient, right near Alona Beach, so you can just step out and be there. It's also a relatively private hotel. The facilities are great, with two swimming pools and a gym. Other activities need to be booked in advance. It's very close to the airport, and round-trip transfers cost 1600 pesos. Breakfast was quite mediocre, without many options, mostly Filipino dishes. It has a private beach, which is small and not very high quality, mostly rocky, but it's perfect for a relaxing vacation if you're just looking for a quiet place to lie down.
AautogirlWe had a fantastic 5-day, 4-night stay! The emotional value was off the charts. All the hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. We even got a welcome drink and ice cream while relaxing by the pool. In the evenings at 6 PM, there was a ceremony with a performance, which was wonderful. There's a Western restaurant where the pizza is delicious. They have a buffet in the evenings; the food wasn't spectacular, but it was convenient, and the atmosphere was great with live music. One of the guys in the restaurant was particularly nice. The breakfast restaurant also serves Filipino food in the evenings, and honestly, every dish was surprisingly good, exceeding our expectations. Of course, the prices are much higher than local eateries. For island hopping, you can directly contact boat operators who will pick you up and drop you off right at the hotel beach. The tide comes in during the morning, perfect for swimming. Around 4 PM, the tide starts to recede, revealing a lot of seafood, including many sea urchins. However, for swimming, I'd still recommend walking over to BBC beach – it's a bit like Boracay where you can walk quite a distance into the sea and it's still only waist-deep. All in all, our little one almost cried at check-out because he really didn't want to leave!
KKuyz ChueeThe restaurant supervisor and crew greeted my mom with a birthday song and a cake during our stay. It was nice for them to do that. The photographers also made a way for the complimentary photoshoot to push through despite the inclement weather; my mom liked the photos very much. You wouldn’t need to go far to eat or to buy daily needs or for pasalubong since there’s a mall with 7-11, pasalubong shops, and restaurants like Buzz by Bohol Fee Farm. For me, the best part of the resort is the beach itself, because the northwest corner of Panglao is less frequented by tourists, hence marine life thrives better here and it’s much more serene. I would like to come back here again. Thank you, Modala! 🫰
GGuest Userhad a pleasant stay for 3 nights!! the staff are very friendly and accommodating towards our requests & queries. searched reviews about them before booking, it's true that they serve good food with an affordable price. as for the noise, we didn't encounter unbearable ones and still had a good night sleep for 3 nights. i definitely recommend this whether you are a couple, friends, or a family.
GGuest UserIn general, everything corresponds to the photo, but there are nuances.
It’s not clear from the photo, but in fact there is catastrophically little light both during the day (a small window!, and in the evening there is not enough artificial light. This gives the feeling that you are in some kind of basement.
Comfort - everything seems to be there, but personally I missed a lot of little things that create comfort.
For example, in the bathroom there is no place where you can put bath accessories, in the shower area there is a small soap dish, and in the sink area there are no shelves or anything like that. There are a lot of sockets, but the chargers dangle in them, so you have to constantly check whether the charge is on or not. There is no breakfast even for an additional fee. Things can only be hung on a hanger along the wall, i.e. they will all be on top of each other. The best smell! A very chemical smell that makes it impossible to stay in the room. The employees were never able to explain where it came from, citing that it was hot and therefore (but it’s not Russia, so it’s cold in February, it’s always hot there, so this explanation is much strange), the second version is treatment for mosquitoes (it’s more like the truth, but the staff couldn’t answer how safe it was to breathe it), I was simply offered to imitate the air freshener). I think it’s still the poor quality of the materials and in the heat that’s why it starts to smell so bad.
The hotel has its advantages: each house has its own terrace, a large courtyard with lots of greenery, pleasant staff.
GGuest UserThis is a decent resort with good value for money, perfect if you're using it as your sole base in Bohol. It's a notch below a typical resort in Sanya, China, but still offers standard five-star hotel amenities. What sets it apart from Sanya hotels is the excellent snorkeling right off the shore. The hotel provides free life vests, so even kids can enjoy it (safety first!). There are plenty of fish in the water, and you can easily find starfish – in fact, we later realized starfish are quite common around Bohol. If you're looking for more diverse marine life, you'll need to take a boat further out. The breakfast buffet is standard, with a good variety, and always features at least one roasted meat daily. The lunch and dinner restaurants are a bit pricey for what you get, though the dining environment is lovely. There's also a quiet rooftop restaurant on the fourth floor above the guest rooms. Given its location near Alona Beach, a fairly bustling area, you can easily order food delivery to the hotel lobby via apps, and there's a shuttle service to Alona. Being close to both the airport and Alona makes it an ideal first hotel in Bohol. You can then use it as a base to book sardine snorkeling and island hopping tours, even directly through Ctrip.
RRiri BudashiriWe needed a seamless place to stay for a single night, and this hotel exceeded all expectations. Check-in was incredibly fast, and the staff was welcoming from the moment I walked through the door. The Room: Immensely clean, quiet, and equipped with a very comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. The Location: Superb and highly accessible, which maximized my limited time in the area. The Service: Efficient and professional, making checkout just as smooth as arrival. The Value: Excellent quality and comfort, even for a brief visit.Though it was just a quick one-night stop, the experience was memorable. I would absolutely stay here again!
ZZhaozhaoAnnI had originally booked a swim-up room for three nights, from February 6th to 8th. However, due to a typhoon, the Cebu to Bohol ferry was suspended. I tried to negotiate with the hotel to get a refund for the first night (Feb 6th), but they were incredibly rigid and refused to budge. In the end, Trip.com refunded me for that night. I then extended my stay for an additional night on the 9th. Honestly, after checking in, I'd say it's a hotel with good value for money. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, so you'll need to take a tuk-tuk, which costs 100 PHP per ride. The entire hotel seemed to be filled with Korean guests... The breakfast was simple but sufficient to fill you up.
JJesrinaThe service at this hotel was truly excellent from start to finish. Even before check-in, the staff were already responsive and helpful. Throughout my stay and even after, their level of service remained consistently impressive.
I experienced an issue with the air conditioning in my room, but the staff handled it very quickly and professionally. They even offered a complimentary breakfast as a gesture, which I really appreciated.
The hotel also provides a range of convenient services such as arranging tuktuk transport and printing, which made my stay much easier. I also noticed thoughtful details in the room; slippers were provided, there were plenty of hangers and clean water was prepared for rinsing since the tap water is slightly salty due to its proximity to the sea.
Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay with outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended! ⭐️👍🏻🤩
EElizaveta VThe hotel is located in an isolated place, so it is very convenient to rent a bike or a tricycle to get to the town or to the nearest restaurant. There is a small private beach, but there are a lot of plants and a lot of boats. I loved the service - you can call the massage or manicure master, grab a drink at the beach bar, lie down near the beach and enjoy the service. They also provided me a bike rent with delivery. The room is in zebra style - very nice and comfy. The only thing I disliked - the room is very small, it is basically tiny, though it had a terrace which a view of the hotel stairs which I found useless.
