"We had a wonderful stay at this resort and truly appreciate the exceptional service provided by the staff. The front desk team was incredibly helpful—when my husband thought he had dropped his wallet in the car during our transit from the pier, they went above and beyond by checking the CCTV to help us track the car plate number. With their help, we discovered that the wallet was not left in the van. Eventually, we realized it had been dropped in a Grab car during our journey from Cebu City to Pier 1 Cebu, and we were able to successfully recover it. We are very grateful for their effort and support throughout the process. From the first day we checked in, the front desk staff noticed that my son was not feeling well. They kindly informed us that the resort has a nurse available and encouraged us to reach out if needed. On the third day, my 4-year-old son’s diarrhea became more serious, and the staff once again showed genuine care and concern. They arranged for a nurse to check on him, who provided helpful advice and referred us to a clinic doctor the next morning. This gave us great peace of mind as parents. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the pool—it was excellent. Overall, the warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the resort, the purple yam porridge is very nice. All the staff were very kind, helpful, friendly, and warm. We would definitely come back again if we travel to Bohol. One small suggestion would be to add a gym room for guests, which would make the facilities even more complete. "It's one my memorable experience hotel in my recent trip. All staff are very friendly. If you're looking for the best sunset view, look no further because their rooftop bar is amazing and have incredible sunset view. Gym is very tiny  so I think that this facilities that they need to improve and expand if they can. In terms of location, a bit out from the central Alona beach but I like that it's quiet and closer to The mist restaurant. Around 5 to 7 mins Tuktuk ride to Alona Beach. I would not recommend booking an activities via reception tho as I find it a bit overpriced. There are other options! Buffet breakfast has a variety of selections. My room and the bed is heaven and the  balcony is overlooking the beach and with an amazing sunset view and it soooo spacious!! If you're going out at night for bar hopping and clubs try to leave a little early as there's not enough tuk tuk outside around 10 or 11 to take you there. Going back to your hotel is not a problem as there's more transport in the central area. Overall, it was an amazing and memorable experience. "

"Very good for that price for those who is not looking for a much comfort. Room was too dark for us with lack of day light. Light switches were dirty - this is simply to avoid by the hotel and experience will be better. Clean bed, towels and a fridge as a plus. Very tasty dishes in their restaurant on a good price, we really liked it (grilled shrimps and a fish) compared to other we tried. The reception is very polite and attentive. The nearest way to the beach is 10 minutes but at the end there is a resort which will charge 100 p entry per person to a beach, as a plus you can use their wc and change rooms and showers. From this beach you can go to any part of the beach line and enjoy."

"Staying at Oceanica was a great experience who wants to escape the bustle city life.... the views of the beach, garden and mini forests were quite calm and relaxing. If you want to get moving just head to the recreation and fitness facility... If you re hungry just head to the restaurants and bars, and enjoy the delicious foods and refreshing drinks. Room is clean and spacious.. staffs are courteous and nice. Will come back again, next time will tag along our kids."

"The service at this hotel was truly excellent from start to finish. Even before check-in, the staff were already responsive and helpful. Throughout my stay and even after, their level of service remained consistently impressive. I experienced an issue with the air conditioning in my room, but the staff handled it very quickly and professionally. They even offered a complimentary breakfast as a gesture, which I really appreciated. The hotel also provides a range of convenient services such as arranging tuktuk transport and printing, which made my stay much easier. I also noticed thoughtful details in the room; slippers were provided, there were plenty of hangers and clean water was prepared for rinsing since the tap water is slightly salty due to its proximity to the sea. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay with outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended! ⭐️👍🏻🤩"
