My family and I stayed in the two-bedroom Sapphire Pool Villa at The Gem Pool Villas Pattaya during the Chinese New Year, and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations. From the service and environment to the smallest details, everything was impressive. It's safe to say this has been one of the most satisfying resort choices in recent years.
**Service Experience: Warm, Thoughtful, and Welcoming**
Even with a significant number of guests during Chinese New Year, the service team maintained incredibly high responsiveness and patience. From guiding us at check-in to attending to our daily needs, the staff consistently wore smiles and proactively offered help, allowing us to genuinely feel the meticulousness and warmth of Thai service. It's especially worth mentioning that the hotel also created a cozy festive atmosphere during Chinese New Year, making us feel at home even when abroad.
**Breakfast Experience: Exquisite, Diverse, and Daily Surprises**
Breakfast was a major highlight of our stay! Not only was there a rich variety, but the menu changed daily with hardly any repetition. From traditional Thai noodle soup and mango sticky rice to pastries, fresh fruit, and made-to-order omelets, the quality was consistently excellent. Staying for several days, we woke up every morning with anticipation, and our child absolutely loved it too.
**Environment and Design: Grand, Elegant, and Full of Holiday Vibes**
* **Inside the Villa:** The two-bedroom layout offered expansive space, with a design that blended modern aesthetics with a resort feel. I particularly loved the living room area (as shown in Figures 1 & 2), where large glass windows brought natural light indoors. The pool and lush greenery were just outside the window, making dining or relaxing at the table feel incredibly open and uplifting. The decorative floral arrangements on the table, the exquisite chandeliers, and the wooden furniture all reflected the hotel's tasteful aesthetic.
* **Hotel Public Areas:** The path leading from the villa to the public areas (as shown in Figure 4) was surrounded by dense tropical plants, like a stroll through a tranquil rainforest, offering great privacy. The hotel entrance at night (as shown in Figure 3) had warm lighting and was shaded by trees, embodying both the relaxation of a resort and the serenity of home.
**Facilities and Details: Quality Online, Meeting All Family Needs**
The villa came with its own pool, and the water quality was excellent, allowing us to jump in and cool off anytime. The kitchen facilities were fully equipped, suitable for simple meal preparation. Overall, it was very well-maintained, with new furniture and bathroom fixtures, and meticulous hygiene. The two bedrooms were thoughtfully laid out, each with an independent bathroom, making it very convenient for families.
**Conclusion**
If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing resort in Pattaya that doesn't prioritize sightseeing, The Gem Pool Villas is definitely recommendable. It might not be right on the busiest beach, but this tranquility, combined with attentive service, thoughtful breakfasts, and a beautiful environment, truly made for a perfect vacation. It's especially suited for families or two to three friends traveling together – sunbathing by the private pool, strolling along the green paths, and chatting late into warm, lit-up nights – that's what 'holiday vibes' are all about.

Anonymous UserIt is a family woth kids hotel. Ideal for kids at all age group to come and enjoy their holiday. Food and drinks are on the expensive side though. The check in and check out counter needs improvement; too long waiting time and the attitude of the concierge is not on the positive side. All other staffs did their best at their duties to make sure guests enjoyed their stay. We love our suite rooms. But activities are focused inside the hotel only because should you leave the hotel with your car, you will immediately loose your parking spot and you will need to search for another that is a very far walk to the lobby or a very tight one. We can feel the effort of the hotel to manage the high volume crowd. All in all, the stay was a 5 star, our kid enjoyed so much we came more than once already.
Ps. Some food vouchers were given when booked directly from the hotel, but excluded when booked from Trip.com. We felt a bit let down by this.

Виталька ПеретятькаFrom the very first step, this was a SUPER HOTEL. In 15 years of our travels, we've stayed at many places from Jomtien to Samet, Koh Chang, Phuket, and so on. For a family vacation, this is an excellent hotel. Next time, we'll consider the club rooms. The kids' area is superb, and the kindergarten teachers are just fantastic – the kids constantly begged to go to the playroom. We even played UNO using a translator :). The rooms are good. We were surprised that they provided an extra crib, which we hadn't even requested in our comments, free of charge. We paid for one room, but they gave us a different, better one! Breakfast is a separate DELICIOUS story: Asian, European, Indian options, a kids' table, a fridge with many types of fruit, and so much more. We didn't want to leave breakfast. Nutella for the kids, coffee for the adults! Everything is nearby: cafes, fruit stalls, 7/11, shopping at Terminal 21, McDonald's, KFC, and so much else that you might not even have time for in 10 days! Thank you, we really enjoyed everything. We will be back! Special thanks also to the guys from the POOL TEAM – always in a good mood, and they always gave my son swimming goggles.

JujuexiangcaixnThe environment here is fantastic, and both pools are super comfortable. Their spa is particularly renowned; guests even travel from Bangkok, Thailand, specifically for holidays, weddings, and spa treatments. If you stay here, you absolutely must experience their spa – personally, I think it offers better value than spas in Bangkok or Phuket. The spa facility is right next to the hotel, with a great ambiance, excellent service, and professional therapists. The hotel service is also top-notch. While it's not within walking distance of the beach or shopping malls, taxis are quick and convenient. Plus, there are some delicious and affordable local restaurants on the street directly opposite the hotel.

The hotel is large and spacious, with a lush, shady environment. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the service is excellent. The air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy, but when we informed the staff, they fixed it immediately. The swimming pool is huge, and the kids absolutely loved it!

JanicejnExcellent Stay with a Great Vibe – Highly Recommended!
I had a wonderful and truly relaxing time at this hotel. It is the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle.
What I loved:
• Amazing Atmosphere & Peace: The hotel is incredibly quiet and peaceful. If you love sunbathing, I highly recommend the swimming pool on the 2nd floor. It offers a great view, a super refreshing breeze, and a totally serene vibe.
• Outstanding Service: The staff were lovely, always smiling, and more than happy to answer all my questions. Plus, a huge bonus: they allowed me to check in before 3:00 PM since my room was already ready!
• Wellness & Facilities: I unfortunately missed trying out their ice bath wellness experience this time, but I am definitely coming back to try it next time!
A few notes:
• The room has a charming, vintage style.
• In terms of cleanliness, I did find a few stray hairs in the bathtub when I arrived. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning for a quick double-check.
Overall, it was a great experience with top-notch hospitality. I will definitely be back!

HappyAndyAndyI stayed at Cape Dara Resort Hotel Pattaya for 4 days and 3 nights. Every staff member, from the front desk to the restaurant and pool, was incredibly attentive, professional, and polite. The room was spotlessly clean and offered panoramic views of Pattaya Beach and the pool. The environment was clean and quiet, making for a very comfortable vacation. The bathtub in the room faced the beach and sea, providing a peaceful and relaxing soak with a beautiful view. The balcony also offered stunning sea views, perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze. The room was exceptionally clean, the surroundings were serene, and I slept wonderfully at night. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant offered a wide and varied selection, and dining with the beach and sea view was delightful. This resort-style hotel is very spacious, featuring a gym, two pools right by the beach, a spa, and free shuttle services to the city center and Pattaya Beach Road Walking Street. It's incredibly convenient for guests. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the large Terminal 21 shopping mall and many nearby restaurants. I had a very enjoyable stay.

HieuLQ1I recently stayed at Royal Cliff Terrace and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers excellent food, a breathtaking view, and a fantastic swimming pool that’s perfect for both relaxation and fun. Its convenient location near the beach makes it an ideal spot for beach lovers.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. While the overall experience was great, I feel it could be even better with more recreational activities for guests. Adding amenities like arcade gaming machines, ping-pong tables, and billiards would provide more entertainment options, especially for families and groups.
I would also love to see more retreat activities, such as yoga classes or guided tours, and more promotions or special packages to make the stay even more enticing.
All in all, Royal Cliff Terrace is a fantastic destination, and I look forward to returning!

The location is great, and I really enjoyed the sea view room. I do have a couple of suggestions though: there was a slight odor from the shower drain, so the hotel might want to look into that. Also, the room lighting was a bit dim; it's a matter of personal preference, but I prefer something brighter. The cleanliness was okay, not exceptionally spotless. For those looking to book, especially my fellow ladies, I want to note that the drain smell was a bit of a concern for me, and I'm not sure if it's an issue in all rooms; I stayed in a sea view king room. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and vacation is all about having fun! 🥳

This hotel is in North Pattaya, right next to a hotpot buffet, which I never got a chance to try. The prices can be a bit inconsistent though; I managed to snag a great deal for my three-night stay. Pattaya is a lovely place. I only realized there was a gym on the first floor when I was checking out today – I hardly spent any time at the hotel, to be honest.
