Fontainebleau Las Vegas, MICHELIN Key Award Hotel

The hotel's 3rd-floor pool is stunning, giving you that 'Southeast Asian resort' vibe. The interior decor also has a wonderful artistic atmosphere. I highly recommend their Hall of Excellence museum. It features the most outstanding figures across various sports, including Jordan, Ali, Woods, and Kobe, as well as some music legends like Elvis and The Beatles. While the museum isn't huge and the $30 admission isn't cheap, it's definitely worth seeing for sports enthusiasts. Service-wise, it was a bit disappointing. I wanted to borrow a fruit knife to peel some fruit, and customer service said they needed to contact the dining department. Although the dining department offered the service, it would have cost over ten dollars for a single room service. It seems in the US, even a simple knife service comes with an extra charge.

LV's hotel is nowhere near as good as Macau's. Let me describe what this 5-star hotel is like: I booked a newly renovated luxury city view room, and the photos showed it to be very luxurious with city views, so I had high expectations. Secondly, there are traps everywhere. The mini-bar water and snacks cost money, and there's no signage! My child accidentally opened a small bottle of mineral water and three mini-snacks, which cost $58 USD. There are two refrigerators; whatever you do, don't touch one of them, as even a slight movement will be sensed and added to your bill. Resort fees are a given, and definitely don't upgrade arbitrarily. As for hygiene, in one of our rooms, when we checked in, there were razor shavings left by the previous guest in the bathroom basin. The toilet paper was placed on the vanity, and the pillow had black stains, so the attention to detail was severely lacking. Overall, it felt inferior to a four-star hotel in China. It's old, stingy, and full of hidden costs.

I was exhibiting at the convention center next door, and this is the closest hotel to the LVCC. There's a direct pathway from the hotel to the exhibition hall (only about 10 meters of outdoor walking), so you don't have to go out onto the street. Of course, you could go the long way around, but then you'd be exposed to more sun. I stayed on the 13th floor, overlooking a residential area with desert hills in the distance. You can see the Sphere from the elevator lobby. The hotel's ground floor is a ******, and no breakfast is a significant drawback. The room had a sofa but no desk, which is inconvenient if you need to use a laptop for extended periods. The windows couldn't be opened. The overall decor is a bit dated; it doesn't feel as modern and new as high-end hotels in China. Additionally, there's a parking lot about 50 meters in front of the hotel, which is unattended and costs $10 a day for self-payment. My Chinese phone couldn't use the payment system, so I had to keep running back and forth to the front desk for help. There's a monorail station nearby (I didn't check prices or routes), and directly opposite is a gas station. The hotel is only one street away from the Las Vegas *****, and it's about a 30-minute walk to the Wynn Hotel (where we rented our car from Hertz). Across from the exhibition hall, there are dining options like McDonald's, Denny's, Taco Bell, Vietnamese restaurants, Korean BBQ, and Indian food. Overall, it was decent and very convenient for the exhibition.

The room is quite spacious and clean. There's an elevator, which is a lifesaver for big luggage. The hotel has parking available; just let the front desk know you need it when checking in. They'll register your car and give you a pass with your departure date. From the hotel, you can walk to the Sphere and also to the Las Vegas Strip. There's a 7-Eleven right next door too.

Thru Trip.com, we decided to book this hotel for the cheaper price as we only need to stay a short while - arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning. It's a bit confusing the info : This is a property, not a hotel? It says must inform the hotel if late arrival so we did but there was no reply or acknowledgement to know if there's a special procedure to check in ; for eg, they have to give you a special code or arrangement for late check in. The next letter to us was weird!!? It says check in instructions as follows but nothing, it's blank...... See photos of their replies. So we were concerned - our situation, pls see photo. But there's no reply in the Message Chat. These left us very worried and anxious. In the end, we had to keep calling this no and that no given by Trip.com, knowing that we will be kept waiting in line. Even when arrived at the airport, we kept calling. Seems one of the phone no is wrong? Trip.com, pls check with the hotel or person in charge. As for the room amenities, they are quite bare - no fridge, no kettle, no drinking water (you have to drink from the tap) in the room. Bath water was not hot when we bathed.

I was pleasantly surprised! Room was huge and clean. A/C was cold and the view was good. Prices at the restaurant were good and the food was great. I loved that I could quickly walk from the parking lot to the room elevators without hiking for miles like other places on the *****. I will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I came to Hilton Lake Las Vegas to spend our 7th wedding anniversary. Check in went very smoothly. Shortly after our check in we received a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. It was a very welcoming surprise which we genuinely appreciated. We had booked a couples massage at their spa and were very pleased with their services. It was quite relaxing and exactly what we needed! Our room was very clean and quiet. We ordered in room service for breakfast and the food was very much to our liking! We’ve stayed at this resort several times prior and have always been pleased with our stay there. We will definitely be back!

The staff was very helpful and friendly during my stay. I had to extend my stay and they were so accommodating which allowed me to attend to family needs. They had many food options and the gift shop came in handy for last minute needs.

The hotel was better than expected as reviews were not always so favorable. We were a little sad that the pool was not open but it happened to open two days before leaving. We liked the slots of fun bar for the cheap hot dogs, popcorn and beer. Our bus stop to go south on the deuce bus was right outside the street although the walk from our West hotel room was a little on the long side. The bus going north however was a little walk away but still very convenient. Windows were dirty on the outside but understandable as it was winter. Still a good view of the sphere.
