This guesthouse I stayed at on this trip was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, not a speck of dust, showing meticulous attention to detail; the bedding was soft and comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly every night; and the service was impeccable. The auntie who checked me in was incredibly warm and attentive, responding quickly to all my reasonable requests during my stay, which made me feel truly welcome! Plus, the price was affordable, offering exceptional value for money, standing out from other guesthouses in the same price range. This stay was wonderful, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Wanfenglin!

Stayed here for three nights. This is a homestay that is carefully operated. First of all, the location is the center of Wanfenglin Scenic Area. It is a minute's walk from the Big Banyan Tree Snack Pedestrian Street. It is very convenient. The boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic and the smile is particularly bright. Their smiles are as beautiful as the scenery of Wanfenglin Scenic Area. Let our family feel very warm and enthusiastically help us with our luggage. I am a person who pays great attention to details. I see the boss’s intentions in the room (pictured). For example, the tooth cup is a disposable transparent cup. Instead of recycled glasses, there are disinfected and cleaned towels and bath towels under the sink, and disposable bath towels are also very intimate. The room is also equipped with a refrigerator, so that the fruits we bought at the last stop of Panzhihua have a place to live. The kettle is a big brand of beauty. Mineral water is Nongfu Spring instead of ordinary unknown brands. It is very safe to drink. The smart Xiao Ai classmate in the whole house freed our hands after a tired day of play. There is also the modern decoration style design in the room, which makes the stay very comfortable! Open the curtains and see the beautiful scenery like an oil painting. In short, I highly recommend everyone to stay, Mu Yunqi.

I was reluctant to leave and must give this a positive review—this is my personal experience, and I, Li Hua, am not exaggerating. Upon arriving in Xingyi, the owner's warmth instantly touched me. Knowing that my in-laws were elderly and had difficulty traveling, she immediately drove to the high-speed rail station to pick them up and drop them off, providing meticulous and thoughtful service throughout. She treated them with the patience and care of her own elders, making the elderly couple feel instantly at ease upon arrival. After checking in, we discovered the kitchen lacked proper utensils, making cooking inconvenient. She repeatedly and warmly invited us to her home for meals, where a table was laden with steaming hot Guizhou-style home-cooked dishes, each bite a taste of home. The owner isn't a relative, but she's more than a family member. This sincerity and kindness were especially precious in an unfamiliar city, and they warmed our hearts. The owner was incredibly cheerful and generous, always enthusiastically recommending great attractions in Xingyi to help us avoid any pitfalls. She also absolutely adores animals! I brought my pet along without any worries or inconvenience; she was gentle and loving, exceptionally caring and tolerant of the little guy. We were truly lucky to have such a kind and compassionate pet owner. Being guests here was the greatest blessing of our trip. Gu Shang Ju not only boasts impeccable hospitality, but its facilities and attention to detail are also exceptional, completely exceeding our expectations. The entire house is equipped with smart technology. Just a simple call of ”Xiao Ai” (a smart speaker) upon entering allows you to easily manage everything in the house. No lifting a finger, no hassle—lazy people, the elderly, and children can all enjoy a very comfortable stay. The room design is warm and stylish, the decor exquisite and sophisticated, and the bedding is so soft and comfortable that you won't want to get up, sleeping soundly through the night. The attention to detail is evident throughout: the shower water is softened, with a gentle flow that leaves you feeling relaxed and comfortable after a bath; the in-room drinking fountain is a major highlight, providing sweet, warm drinking water with just the touch of a button—clean, hygienic, convenient, and quick, ensuring safe drinking water for the elderly and children at all times. The room itself is very new, yet completely odorless, clean, tidy, and well-ventilated, demonstrating meticulous daily cleaning and maintenance. Most thoughtfully, it also features an elevator, making it easy for the elderly or those with a lot of luggage to move around—perfect for family trips. The location is also superb, facilitating both travel and daily life! It's a ten-minute walk to the Malinghe Scenic Area, a 20-minute drive to the Wanfenglin 5A Scenic Area, and half an hour to the Fenglin Buyi Scenic Area. Whether you're visiting attractions or enjoying the scenery, everything is within easy reach, saving you time and effort. The surrounding amenities are surprisingly comprehensive: downstairs there's a farmers' market, pharmacy, supermarket, and countless restaurants and snack shops offering authentic flavors and a wide variety of choices. There are also two billiard halls, providing everything you need for leisure and entertainment. Staying here eliminates all the inconvenience of getting around or daily life, making for a truly immersive travel experience. The value for money is so high that I can't help but feel sorry for the owner: the prices are affordable, yet every detail—the decor, service, and everything else—is impeccable. She treats every guest with care, warmth, and sincerity. I often wonder, can such a genuine and dedicated woman really make money? In 2026, my New Year's journey began at Gu Shang Ju. Here, there was a comfortable living environment, meticulous care, and a rare sense of human warmth. I had the most wonderful stay at the hotel run by Rose, who among others is an English teacher! From the moment we arrived, the location completely stole our hearts — nestled perfectly to offer breathtaking views of the mountains right from our room window. Waking up to that stunning scenery every morning was a dream come true. But what truly set this experience apart was Rose’s incredible care and attention. When we unexpectedly got sick during our stay, Rose went above and beyond to assist us with kindness and genuine concern. She made sure we had everything we needed, from medical advice to thoughtful comfort measures, making us feel safe and supported far beyond what we expected. If you’re looking for a place that combines an unbeatable location, glorious mountain views, and heartfelt hospitality, this hotel run by Rose is absolutely the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

Take the bus from Xingyinan Station to Wanfenglin Scenic Area, and it's a two-minute walk from the main gate. They upgraded my room and even provided an electric blanket in case I got cold, so I slept warmly and comfortably. The restaurant on the first floor is run by the owner, and the egg fried rice is delicious. While the accommodation doesn't offer a view of the rice fields, the proximity to the bus stop made it very convenient for a foreigner like me. Wanfenglin Scenic Area is free outside of opening hours, making it a great place for a morning or evening stroll. The owner also lent me a bicycle, allowing me to explore every nook and cranny of Buyi Village. Thank you so much. Even though there aren't many reviews, don't hesitate and definitely visit!😊

This hotel is just amazing ! My room was very nice and cosy, the yard so enjoyable and beautiful with many plants and trees. The house is very well maintain and you can see that the personnel take great care of it. The localisation is perfect to visit Wanfenglin, the Canyon, Xingyi and all places of interest around. The owner, Tang Tang, her family and the girl working with her, Dawn, are amazing people who care so much about their guests. They speak English, especially Dawn who was an English teacher. They are so nice that they made me feel at home. They helped me with everything I needed and made my stay in Wanfenglin an unforgettable experience. I recommend this place so much, I can't imagine a better one !

In order to avoid traffic jams in other places on May Day, I chose to stay here for four nights. The Yunnan purple bougainvillea in the yard was in full bloom, and the tuberose at the door smelled strong every night. I like growing flowers and I like this yard very much. The mulberries in the yard fell all over the floor. , I picked a few black ones to eat, they were so sweet. I walked five minutes from the alley opposite to the fried rice street. You can have breakfast, dinner, and dinner at the snack bar opposite. When I saw the room next door, I ordered a bowl of noodles and took it back to the room to eat. Return the bowl when you're done. It's nice to take your time in the country life without any pressure.

The location is convenient, and I really like the unique and elegant decor of the guesthouse. There's also a place to read books. The service is excellent, especially the noodles cooked by the auntie for breakfast, which were delicious, and the hand-ground soy milk was complimentary. Thank you so much!

The inn is located in the scenic area, on the side of the road, built against the mountain, with birds singing and cicadas chirping. If the weather is good, you can watch the sunrise🌅 while sitting in the small courtyard. The room is very spacious. The inn also has bicycles. The rice fields and seedlings are green at the end of June. The blue sky and white clouds are very beautiful, and the temperature is very comfortable. The boss’s service was very good. He also sent us to the bus location. I will bother him next time when we go there😁

There are plenty of snacks and restaurants, parking is convenient, and it's easy to get to scenic spots. The front desk staff are very helpful. Xingyi is a great place. Taking a taxi is best to get to Malinghe; parking is a bit difficult if you drive.
