This guesthouse I stayed at on this trip was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, not a speck of dust, showing meticulous attention to detail; the bedding was soft and comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly every night; and the service was impeccable. The auntie who checked me in was incredibly warm and attentive, responding quickly to all my reasonable requests during my stay, which made me feel truly welcome! Plus, the price was affordable, offering exceptional value for money, standing out from other guesthouses in the same price range. This stay was wonderful, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Wanfenglin!

What a nice place to stay at! The owner was extremey friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. She recommended things to do, restaurants, a bike rental and made a great effort to make sure I had everything I needed. Eventhough we could only communicate through a translation app, I felt like home at the place. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to have a quiet stay, easy access to the Wanfenglin scenic area and an amazing view on its mountains (there is a nice garden and a rooftop).

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff that came to pick me up from the train station and also brought me there when I left. The hotel is very close to the canyon, but a bit farther from the center where there are many food options, but I didn't mind the walk there personally. The room is good, and as it shows in the pictures. I had a bit difficulty turning off the light at night, but the host responded very quick!

I really feel that it is very cost-effective to be able to find a B&B for 500 during the Chinese New Year! The surrounding homestays all cost thousands of yuan! Facilities: The air conditioning and hot air are very powerful! There is also a large balcony! There is a parking space. If it is full, the boss will arrange it! Hygiene: Very clean! Service: The boss and his family are very nice. They even helped us clean up the fireworks we set off. Thank you!

Take the bus from Xingyinan Station to Wanfenglin Scenic Area, and it's a two-minute walk from the main gate. They upgraded my room and even provided an electric blanket in case I got cold, so I slept warmly and comfortably. The restaurant on the first floor is run by the owner, and the egg fried rice is delicious. While the accommodation doesn't offer a view of the rice fields, the proximity to the bus stop made it very convenient for a foreigner like me. Wanfenglin Scenic Area is free outside of opening hours, making it a great place for a morning or evening stroll. The owner also lent me a bicycle, allowing me to explore every nook and cranny of Buyi Village. Thank you so much. Even though there aren't many reviews, don't hesitate and definitely visit!😊

The room was newly renovated, fully equipped, and had no unpleasant odors. Our room had two bright, airy sides, offering views from the bed. The guesthouse had ample parking in front and was very close to the official entrance to Wanfenglin Scenic Area, within walking distance, so those driving wouldn't have to worry about parking. It was also a bit far from Shangxia Nahui Village, avoiding traffic jams. For exploring the village, the guesthouse offered electric scooters and tricycles for rent, a perfect solution. Furthermore, the owner was incredibly friendly throughout the stay – a special shout-out to her!

The owner is really nice and helpful, the family room is big and clean ! We booked for one night at the beginning, but we extend our stay for three more days because the place is so nice and the people are lovely. The view is impressive even when it's not sunny, and the hotel is really close to the village where there is good, bike rental shop and everything you need.

This is really my last review. I extended my stay to get the right bus connection to Kunming. So, I've spent about two weeks here now and can only report positive things. Anyone in Xingyi can book this apartment and will have a great time there.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Even though parking in the area is quite difficult, she arranged for someone to assist with parking and maneuvering the car through some trees, which was a big help. She was also nice enough to provide us with a spare pillow upon request.
Room:
The room feels a bit old-fashioned and not very modern. The bathroom is simple and basic. However, the air conditioning in the room worked wonderfully and kept us comfortable.

The hostel's location is great, within the Wanfenglin area. The owners are extremely welcoming and they went out of their way to help me and make me feel at home. They organized a couple of dinners with the other guests and the atmosphere was great. Moreover one of them used to be an English teacher so communication is very easy.
