I held off on writing this review because I was so incredibly satisfied! So, so satisfied! This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish. The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture! The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant! Thank you, ladies! I woke up to the mountain mist each morning and watched the orange sunset from the infinity pool in the evenings. A special shout-out to Xiao Zhang at the front desk. She was incredibly gentle and thoughtful, helping me meticulously plan my sightseeing routes in advance. When a small hiccup occurred during my stay, she listened patiently, offered proactive reassurance, and handled the issue thoughtfully from a guest's perspective. Her sincerity and warmth were truly heartwarming. While the scenic beauty was captivating, it was this attentive and considerate service that became the most unforgettable highlight of my trip, making it a place worth returning to again and again.

This time the family came to Wanfenglin to play, the overall experience of living is particularly good! 📍 The location is very good, the peak forest is pastoral when you go out, and the scenery has nothing to say. The homestay is built on the mountain, there will be more steps, and you need to pay more attention to your feet when you walk. But this has not affected our stay at all! 🛋️ The equipment and facilities in the room are also very good, fully equipped, easy to use, and very comfortable to live. 💁 The service really needs to be praised, and the staff are very caring. I know that we have a lot of clothes to change and wash when we travel, and we also take the initiative to help dry the clothes. We usually remember to care about us everywhere, and many small things are considered for us. Even the pillow height was thoughtfully considered without me having to say a word—it was such a pleasant surprise. The next morning, I have to rave about the breakfast! The variety was dazzling—hot, freshly made dishes, fresh fruit, and delicate snacks. After eating, I felt completely energized, and even the flavors were tailored to my preferences. I especially loved their plain noodles. The view from the room was absolutely stunning! Just open the window and you'd see the Wanfeng Forest across the street. The mountain scenery, with its layered peaks unfolding like an ink painting, is breathtaking. Mornings are shrouded in mist, and evenings are bathed in the glow of the setting sun. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and enjoying the view, time seems to slow down. The toiletries in the room were also incredibly thoughtful; the high-end brand scent was fresh and not overpowering, and the texture was exquisite. I even shamelessly asked the owner for an extra set to take on my next trip. The high-end facilities were absolutely fantastic. The bedding was soft and plush, and the bathroom was impeccably clean with a separate shower and toilet. It was a truly comfortable stay. This thoughtful touch upon checking in late at night, combined with the wonderful experience during the day, has already made me secretly plan my next trip. This amazing guesthouse is a must-visit! The view from halfway up the mountain was absolutely stunning. Everyone at the guesthouse was incredibly kind, doing their best to meet guests' needs and offering various forms of assistance. Even though it was past mealtime when we checked in, they still cooked a single meal. For those of us who prefer a relaxed trip, we booked dinner at the guesthouse; it was home-style cooking, reasonably priced, and quite delicious. The kitchen was also visibly clean. Breakfast had a slightly limited selection, but they did have noodles, which were pretty good. Non-instant coffee could be ordered separately. Overall, it was perfect for a laid-back, relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, my itinerary was also quite relaxed and casual; I only stayed one night. I had already booked hotels for the following days, otherwise I really wanted to stay longer.

The guesthouse was clean and tidy, and the owner was very kind. He pointed us to the location before we arrived, helped with our luggage, and showed us the parking lot. The guesthouse is located in Xia Nahui, which is quieter and offers better views compared to Shang Nahui and Zhong Nahui. There are many restaurants within a five-minute walk, making it convenient to go to the market on Monday mornings. There's a beautiful swimming pool, probably the largest for a guesthouse in Wanfenglin. The owner provided paddleboards, and the children never wanted to get out of the pool. In the adjacent small garden, there were three peacocks; we later discovered that the guesthouse's logo is a peacock spreading its tail feathers. The plants in the garden also showed that the owner had carefully selected, arranged, and maintained them. The guesthouse's breakfast was excellent, especially the rice noodles, which were delicious. My child could easily finish a whole bowl. Besides rice noodles, they also offered different small dishes each day, which was very satisfying.

The moment I opened the door to my room, I was immediately struck by a refreshing sense of cleanliness. The off-white bedding was impeccably smooth, without a single wrinkle. The wooden tabletop gleamed, and not a speck of dust could be found even in the window sill crevices. The leaves of the potted plant in the corner had a clean, dewy sheen. The entire space was free of clutter, with every detail exuding just the right amount of tidiness. As soon as I put down my suitcase, my tense nerves slowly began to unwind. The most pleasant surprise was the hotel's location. Opening the window revealed the iconic dark silhouettes of the scenic mountains, and the entrance to the attraction was just a ten-minute walk away. There was no need to rush for a crowded subway or transfers; the extra time allowed for a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood's artisan shops or a quick nap back in the room before heading out again. For breakfast, there was no need to go far; just two turns from the hotel entrance was a local breakfast spot that had been open for over a decade. Even getting to the nearby high-speed train station by taxi took only fifteen minutes. Whether you're a traveler with a packed itinerary or just looking for a relaxing getaway, getting around is exceptionally convenient. I was immediately won over by the front desk staff's attitude during check-in. As soon as we reached the entrance, someone proactively offered to help with our luggage and handed us cool welcome towels. When we asked for directions, they not only patiently explained the route but also offered a printed simplified map of the attractions, advising us which sections were best for photos and where to find the most authentic snacks. When we requested to adjust our check-out time, there was no hint of impatience; they quickly helped coordinate everything. They even assisted in contacting reliable venues for a local intangible cultural heritage experience that we casually inquired about. After this trip, the comfortable accommodation experience significantly enhanced our journey. Whether I visit this area again or recommend it to friends, this hotel will definitely be my top choice.

Booking a guesthouse in Wanfenglin is a real matter of luck, with all sorts of options available. I was very fortunate to find this one through a blind box, and I'm very happy with it. They have many rooms ranging from low to high floors; I recommend staying in a higher-floor room. The breakfast was also delicious.
